This is a review for the downtown Portsmouth location. The Exeter location is fantastic!
My experience in Portsmouth was: the guy staffing this location was completely and unabashedly UNMASKED. He didn't even have one around his neck. It's difficult to imagine that he forgot - seeing me in a mask would have reminded him to put it back on.
His communication style was also not appreciated. When I asked to buy a sample packet of CBD gummies for sleep, he began condescendingly explaining to me about how the full size was a better deal. When I acknowledged that I understood but still wanted the $10 sample packet, he continued doing the math for me, as if I was an idiot, with a tone and expression that felt disrespectful.
Honestly, it's on me that I didn't just walk out. Normally, when I see unmasked people in stores, I turn around and leave. But I was so flustered by this guy's attitude, and so in need of a product I knew would help me sleep better, that I didn't act on my instinct.
I'm posting this because I just wanted to give folks a heads up about this COVID safety issue at this location. If you can make it to the Exeter location, that would be so much better! The woman staffing that location is very kind, helpful and knowledgeable, and best of all, COVID safe! read more
