The variety of products was more than I've seen elsewhere. Michael Parolisi, the District Manager, was very welcoming and attentive the minute we walked through the door. He was extremely knowledgeable about ALL of the products and made recommendations based on his own personal experiences, popularity of products sold, most appropriate uses, concentrations, etc. While we were looking around, he stepped away to help another customer who walked in and gave a specific complaint for which she wanted product. He was able to immediately give a great recommendation and make her visit as efficient as possible. At one point he even offered to run a product batch through their system based on lot # to give me even more information about ingredient content. Wish this store was closer for us because we would absolutely shop here again.

They prepare sushi and other Asian delights on site, and have a large selection of wines and beers. Hampton Natural Foods is a lot like Trader Joe's, but a little bit more higher end, and pricier. The wine section is very impressive, as is the cheese section. The place is always packed when I go there, so the lines can be a bit daunting. You can find a lot of unique brands that you won't see elsewhere, but be prepared to pay premium for them. Staff is friendly, and always ready to answer questions. I think the check-out people know that their lines tend to go slowly, and they're always gracious about thanking customers for coming (even if they have a small purchase). I've had no complaints about Hampton Natural Foods. Then again, I visit every few months. I think if this were my main place to shop and get all of my essentials that I'd be broke in no time.
