I wouldn't buy here for the fact that there return policy and trade up policy are bogus. I bought a wedding band from them and changed my mind. Yeah... I was a month passed the return date but I figured if I couldn't return it I could at least get store credit. Well that's not available at the Concord/Sun Valley store. Sales lady tells me I'm ways past the return date, I knew that. So why not give me store credit like I asked for or apply the amount that I paid for it to another purchase? So as it turns out, they'll apply the amount you paid BUT you must spend at least the amount of your original purchase. So if you spent 500 dollars you have to spend another 500 dollars to have that original amount applied to the next purchase. What the heck?! You mean I can't buy something for , let's say 600 dollars and use the original 500 dollars to that purchase!? Nah... they want you to match your first purchase price. So now you just spent a thousand dollars! Thats their bogus "Trade-up" scam. So yeah... go to someplace else instead of them. Sales lady wasn't even helpful. read more

Came here to pick out the big one for my proposal. Funnily enough, I actually went to Kay's first but they didn't have the best customer service. I knew exactly what style I was looking for and they gave me some terrible suggestions. I walked across and found Helzberg. Kayla greeted me and was super friendly. She understood what I was looking for and gave me some excellent recommendations. Originally, I was going to settle for something under a carat but they had very competitive pricing and ended up getting a stunning rock. She also recommended getting the ring sized now instead of waiting. I was pretty sure I knew my GF's ring size and took her advice. She assured me that we could get it resized again if it ended up a bit loose. It took about 3 weeks to get it resized. Gents, if you're planning on proposing and shopping give yourself a month to prepare. Helzberg was very communicative throughout the process. I got calls emails and sms when the ring was ready. My girl was literally stunned when I proposed. I left her speechless. She's very happy with the ring and couldn't believe how big it was. 2019- went to look at rings with my GF (Wife now) but went to Kay 1st to check it out. Stood there for a while to look at the rings and at no point did any person approached us so we went across to Helzberg and got approached right away, tried on some rings, found what I was looking for and walked out that day with the ring I wanted. They have Warranty on the rings, cleaning and re polishing in case of scratches. 2023 - Still going to Helzberg for cleaning, sent the rings 1 time for re polishing. Diamond ring gets checked when its back to make sure its the same one as when it left, by its serial number. read more

I have shopped with them for over 20 years, new rings and upgrading my diamond several times. The last time they had my ring to size it was 2020 and they had it for 4 months. After that I wasn't able to wear it do to swelling in my hands. I now live in a different state and need my ring sized. I went to a very reputable jeweler and found out my band is cracked in multiple places. They can repair it at a steep cost or I can risk mailing it and having repairs done in CA. BLUF: Buyer beware. Subpar customer relations focused more on the bottom line rather than customer satisfaction. I had been a loyal customer for more than a decade until this last year. I will no longer patronize this company. I purchased a channel diamond ring just before the pandemic. I periodically checked to see when I would be able to return it for a piece more fitting of my taste. Last month when the new city/state opening guidelines were implemented, I immediately contacted the Sun Vally Mall location. I spoke with the location manager and was informed that their return policy would not be honored because they were open during sporadic timelines throughout the last year. I was also informed that I could return it for a store credit. During the pandemic, you would think these unprecedented circumstances would be taken into consideration. I was told by my jeweler (who is not local) I could get my wedding ring checked by any reputable jewelry store every 6 months to keep the warranty valid. I have been doing this for the past 5 years at Kay Jeweler's. I happen to be near the Helzberg Diamond store in Sun Valley (Kay's was still closed) so I stopped in to get my ring checked. After the guy examined in, he said it all looks great. I then asked for a business card with a date/initial to confirm my ring had been checked. He said "Oh I can't do that, if your ring wasn't bought here." I asked to speak to the manager who confirmed they can not verify that the diamonds are secure if the ring wasn't purchased at their store. Wait....What?! They were both VERY nice and took time to entertain my silly questions about picking out rings for engagements. My name is Chris Fisher and I am writing to share some experiences I had at your location in Sun Valley Mall located in Concord, CA. Last November I proposed to the love of my life. I purchased her engagement ring from a competitor, Kay's. That experience was ok (at best) because I felt as if I was going through the motions of their sales techniques. Last January (2016), my fiancé and I decided to go ring shopping for her wedding ring along with mine. Her wedding ring was purchased at Kay's and the experience quickly turned negative when they made several HUGE mistakes post purchase. To make a long story short, Kay's finally got it right after the CEO's office got involved. When it came time to shop for my ring, my fiancé told me that we should take a different direction and go to Helzberg. Little did I know at the time that my fiancé had already scouted my ring out. It was sometime last January when I met Ana at the Sun Valley location. To sum it up, there is only one word that comes to mind ... WOW! I honestly did not have any expectations due to my negative experience at Kay's but Ana blew me away with her professionalism. She took the time to talk to me and I can tell that she sincerely cared. I ended up putting my ring on layaway simply because I could not make a decision at that moment. A few weeks later during your Friends and Family event, Ana took the initiative to call me to let me know that if I was interested, I should take advantage of the event. I showed up that same afternoon, purchased my ring, and took it home where it belonged. By the way, it fit me perfectly. No sizing needed at all! Our wedding is set for July 29, 2016. The last week of June, my fiancé gave me the bad news that she had accidentally misplaced her wedding ring when we moved to our new house. Both of us were heartbroken and in a state of panic. After days of searching, I finally told her that we are now at the point where we need to find a replacement ring. No matter the cost, I was determined to purchase a new ring for her and without thinking twice we went back to Helzberg at Sun Valley Mall. On July 4, 2016 we were on a mission. Ana was off that day but another associate was there to help. Again, we got the WOW factor! We explained the situation to Stephanie and I showed her a picture of what we were looking for. With our vision in mind, she immediately showed us 4 rings. We quickly eliminated 2 and were on the fence with the other 2 but after some deliberation we made our decision. I kid you not, the whole process from start to finish took 20 minutes! I could not believe how smooth everything went, by the way no sizing was needed for my fiancé therefore we got to take her ring home that afternoon. Doug immediately tended to myself and my partner upon entering the location. We went browsing all the other stores in the area and were not greeted so quickly as here. He was extremely knowledgeable, not pushy like some places, respected the fact I kind of knew what I wanted and yet at the same time helped in suggestions that were to my liking. So, after finding my engagement ring and my partner's wedding band we left quite satisfied and happy. We put the rings on layaway and even though we were OK with the affordability of the per month payments upon my second visit when I went to do my first payment I ran into Doug again. This time I took his advice and said why not let's try sign up to see if I can finance the rings (my credit I thought was not so hot) I was approved and he gave me a big hug of congrats and I was just left dumbfounded and so pleased. I was able to finance not only my engagement ring but my partner's wedding ring AND Doug even found my own wedding ring that would go perfectly to match my partner's which I had not even looked for before hand. He not only went above and beyond service but was super friendly. And without him our rings would not have been so amazing. AND on top of that allowed us to breathe a little sigh of relief on monthly payments. How can you not rave about this place?!!??! I only gave this store 2 stars cause the lady dealing with me was nice but heres my story i purchased a tungsten wedding band for my husband in 2014 with lifetime warranty. My husband has lost a lot of weight since then and hus ring was falling off his finger so i decided to go get the ring resized since i had my receipt with my purchase of lifetime warranty which was extra. I waited several minutes for someone to get recognize me then when i explained me situation to the lady she looked at my receipt snd told me the store no longer has lifetime warranty but a 3 year warranty but she will check with manager who happened to be this cocky looking guy in a suit. I noticed he was the first person to see and didnt even acknowledge me when i was waiting and that's when i knew this wasnt going go well. So at end of all this they didnt honor my lifetime warranty and told me i had to purchase another ring which of course i wasnt going do so i am stuck with a ring my husband cant wear read more

Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a jewelry purchase was at Helzberg Diamonds. My story is one to remember, I had an extreemely bad experience with Zales and came to Helzberg for help. I was greeted by Jovan who did everything he could to help fix my problems with my Zales purchase. But we later found out the issue with zales went further and even into i was sold something not real and not what i paid for. So i decided to just start over with Jovan at helzberg diamonds on a custom order for my fiance. We spent about an hour or so looking and talking about all the custom options and we finally decided and placed our order. We purchased a ring for myself as well but im a dude so it was way easier, a simple band is how i roll. My fiance on the other hand needed the "works" ring.. So the ring was custom and we had a few times of showing up for sizing then checking the center stone I was providing for fit and then sent back to be mounted. Jovan was very informative and helpfull every step of the way.. I actually think he was more blown away by the outcome of this ring than my fiance. All in all Jovan and Morgan were both great and made everything awesome about our custom rings. Id honestly never go anywhere else to purchase jewelry again.. (Unless Jovan moves or something). AWFUL, CHEAP, AND UNACCOUNTABLE!! Avoid this junkyard at all costs. I recently brought in my engagement ring to have the prongs which holds my center diamond raised, as a 5 yr. anniversary 'tune up' (a 2k job) to only have the diamond fall out a year later - without my knowing!! I was reassured that by raising the prongs, I would be securing my diamond because the new prongs would be "reinforced and secure". NOT!! I deeply regret ever coming here and touching my beautiful ring, which is now missing my 12k diamond!!! I called the store of course to see if I was within their warranty and was told, with lack of empathy, that I was less than a month too late and the store had no responsibility for the bad work of their jeweler.
