Just got my laundry back- 3 loads ( 2 weeks travelling for a family of 3) for 19.50. Folded & packed within an in inch of its life and smelled/looked v clean. Only quibble was a linen shirt that was tumble dried- my own fault for failing to tell them prewash. Legends. Too cheap- tipped em another $10. read more

Second-rate laundromat run by moody people. I've used them many times over the years, mostly because it's the closest place to my apartment. It ends up being between $1.40-$1.10 per lb if you give it to them - wash/fold - and that's for very basic service. They'll process your laundry in the cheapest way they can imagine unless you specify otherwise, and then they'll up-charge you. If anything bad happens to your laundry and you tell them, they'll get angry with you and rudely tell you it's your fault. I see them do it to other people all the time - on the one hand I imagine people are unreasonable but on the other hand being consistently abrasive is obviously a negative. There have been about 3 occasions where they damaged or somehow stained my clothing, but because I know they are so nasty, I don't even bring it up. I recommend going elsewhere unless it's extremely convenient. read more

Don't use this laundry. I was racially discriminated against at this laundry by the owner. I am an African American citizen, at 63 I am familiar with the look and disrespect of those that don't like me based on my skin color. He refused to do my laundry and said he did not like me. Any business that can refuse to do business in Hell's Kitchen of all places should not have the luxury of benefitting from a wonderful diverse community. I felt like crap after leaving his establishment. But I was able to find a much better one on 9th ave. One that did not look at me in disgust. D&P laundromat, their prices were cheaper and service was kind. The silver lining was finding D&P laundromat! The owner is awful! And racist read more

Great service! Always happy to see us and never had issues with the clothes. Some shrinkage on a sock or two but that's expected. Almost always same day read more

Very affordable and efficient - same day pick up available even when I drop off my laundry in the afternoon. And the laundry also smell really good when I pick them up. read more

One timer. Staying at a midtown hotel. Dropped off 8 pounds of laundry. Paid $11. Picked it up a few hours later. On a Sunday. On a holiday weekend. What more could I ask for? read more

Solid place. No frills laundromat where there's self service or drop off. Have used both and haven't had any issues, although use the drop off service more. They normally have it back pretty quickly, within 4 or 5 hours. The best thing is that they open 7 days a week and open until quite late, around 9 or 10 I believe. Much more convenient than other places that close on Sundays and/or close at 7. As someone who is quite particular about how my laundry is done, I'm throughly impressed by the service. Having in house machines helps because there's no chance of forgetting your laundry, as has happened at other places where I've been promised same day, but the driver forgot my bag on multiple occasions. Also, if you have a large enough load, your laundry will be washed by itself so chances of losing an article of clothing or getting mixed with others is quite unlikely. Lastly, the absolute most annoying thing is when you're combing through your socks trying to match each to its other pair when you stumble upon that last sock that just happens to be single. Worst thing in the world! Now you have to wait until the laundromat happens to lose another one so you're made whole again. Luckily that doesn't happen here. They go as far to matching your socks, even ones that are slightly different, to make sure all articles are accounted for. A godsend if you ask me. Only minor inconvenience is that it's cash only. But it's a small price to pay for laundry done right. read more

We were only in town for 36 hours but had quite a bit of laundry to get done. We called to see how fast they could get it done and they said it would be same day. We dropped it off around 4pm and picked it back up at 8pm. Super fast, friendly, clean, and folded so nicely. $13.50 for 10lbs of dirty laundry. If you need FAST wash and fold service these are your guys!!! read more

Cheap, they follow directions, and I got all my clothes back. What more can you ask for?

Worked quick, inexpensive, clothes done same day. Walked there from hotel on 47th & 7th. Did sight seeing in Central Park. Took taxi back here and walked back to hotel. Clothes were clean. You won't be disappointed. read more

Great service and friendly staff. Laundry was packed to perfection and ready by the set time!

Love this place. Convenient enough to drop off clothes on the way to work and pick up in the evening, all nicely folded and socks sorted. Prices are very reasonable. Haven't used the self-service side so can't comment on that. read more

We frequent this family-run establishment a couple of times a month for their drop-off service. Friendly faces, honest people, fair pricing, and they're always clear on how long the laundry will be ready in (usually a few hours). They fold and sort laundry - socks with socks, tshirts with tshirts, which makes putting away laundry so much simpler. Laundry always smells and is as clean as one would hope. I've used their service almost two dozen times and haven't had a single item missing. read more

This place is so great! I use the wash and fold service. The prices are low, the service is excellent, and most importantly the owners are kind and friendly. So glad this is in my neighborhood! read more

This gets 2 stars simply because I have little choice in laundry mats in this neighborhood. I get this is New York and I like the nitty gritty but this place is just dirty. I mean why would you drop your clothes at a place to be cleaned that can't even accomplish basic house keeping. The amount of dust and grit from the ceiling fans to the walls is amazing. It's like they have never cleaned this place. And don't bother coming when it's even slightly busy, there will be no hot water. The place has two entrances, one for drop off and one for self service. They lock the gate to the self service side which seems like a fire hazard because there is no way out when that door is locked accept to walk around to the other side of the place.... Go and you'll see for yourself. Hey maybe someday they'll clean their own store? read more

Their wash and fold service is AMAZING as well as their customer service. Always friendly, accommodating, and they are the best that I have found. Make this your new spot, you will be glad you did! read more

In NY for two weeks. Found this on Yelp and decided to give it a go. Great service. Dropped in at 10am and could pick up at 2pm. They even managed to wash my padded coat, which after 2 weeks of wear was in desperate need of a clean. Everything was dry, folded and fresh. All up cost was $20 for 3 loads. I will certainly use this service again when I am back in the USA. read more

Found this cleaner when we quickly came to the realization that clothes cannot live past one day at 105 degree heat index. I dropped off 18lbs of clothes at 8am and had them back fresh, clean and folded by 1pm. Requested cold wash with very light dry. Clothes came back perfect (jeans were slightly moist at seams which indicated a lower dry temp). And, just for fun, we compared pricing with our hotel. Marriott Marquis = $442 vs Mr Green = $21.50. read more

I sent my relatives who were visiting here and staying at Hotel Edison after the hotel was trying to charge them an arm and a leg to clean their clothes. They said that they really liked the service here and that service was prompt with same day service. They dropped off their clothes at 12pm and it was ready for pick up after 3pm the same day. They paid $14 for 11lbs of clothes! read more

When i went to drop off my shorts and t shirt to get washed, the guy there has a bit of a atitude. They cleaned my clothes but i thought it will smell clean when i got it back. It gets the job done though. 10 dollars to wash a short and a tshirt. No discount. read more

I was visiting NYC as part of a longer trip, where I planned to get laundry service part way though. Mr Green Laundry was an inexpensive place for great wash and fold service. The service was also same day - just a few hours - and was done well. read more

I recently moved to the the neighborhood and started using Mr. Green Laundry service. I have been returned packages with missing clothes, items that dont belong to me, and my whites with yellow spotty stains all through them. When requested that I be refunded or my whites be rewashed the manager was rude and refused. I will definitely never be going back and would never recommend this business to anyone - I unfortunately had to learn my lesson the hard way and am now stuck with a load of stained whites, the loss of my money, and the inconvenience of having to correct a mistake that was not my fault. Having been loyal to this company and spent my hard earned money there on several occasions I am very disappointed. read more

Great spot! Great service! All I would add is that it is not open on Holidays at all. I wish I had known this before going on a holiday, had to go back the next day. I couldn't find this information anywhere. read more

Efficient and very reasonable priced - why would you go to a self service? Our family of four's clothes were cleaned for $20 o

Great service on the wash and fold. Pretty fast too. Seems like they can get everything done in about 4 hrs so if you bring it in in the afternoon they will have it that night. No pressing of shirts but if you need wash and fold this is a good place to go in the area. The guy who helped with me was very nice with my questions. read more

We were in town for just 3 days. I had brought laundry soap to find a Laundromat but this was WAY better. Fortunately it was only 2 blocks from us. They charge per pound and for $16 they washed, dried and folded our 13 pounds of laundry and placed it neatly into a bag. This was so wonderful. Only took 4 hours and I didn't need to wait for it. Super friendly people working there too. Use mr. Green! read more

Mr. Greens laundry is the best and most affordable !! Close to Central Park and the plaza hotel. We dropped off 13 pounds if laundry and they charged us only $16 which include an extra $1 for bleach (my choice)! They r so friendly and articulate. Best of all my laundry will be done in 4 hours (or less)! They said they would text if it is ready early. read more

Excellent laundry for wash and fold service within easy walking distance of Broadway. As tourists we don't like to waste precious time doing our own washing, nor can we afford the exorbitant prices charged by hotels. Mr Green was cheap and we had clean clothes within a few hours whilst we saw the sights of NYC. read more

Not only is this place dingy and small as the other reviewer pointed out, the employees really can't be bothered to help and have no problem talking crap about you right in front of your face. I went to pick up my laundry and, even though the door was open, there were two employees sitting there, and the hours posted said I still had half an hour, one of the girls said lazily, "We're closed". "So, you can't give me my bag of laundry (pointing to a bag that looks just like mine directly behind her) that is sitting right there?" I asked. "You already paid?" "Yup." Handed her the receipt. As the girl turned around to grab my bag, the other one decided to make a comment about me in Spanish to her friend. Now, here's the catch: I'm fair-skinned and light-eyed but I was raised speaking Spanish by my Mexican mother, so let's just say she was taken off guard when this "guera" replied to her in Spanish. She didn't even look at me. The other one handed me my bag. "Gracias!" I won't be going back there again. There are plenty of places in the neighborhood to do laundry without catching attitude from the behind the desk. read more

Oh my goodness. They saved the day! We needed some laundry done because of a long trip, but we didn't have the time to sit around and wait. We ran it over from our hotel at 9pm and it was ready and perfectly folded the next morning at 10am! Smelled fresh and they even dried it on low for me. They were a lifesaver! read more

Traveling and in need of clean clothes, I came here based on the other reviews and it was exactly that. Very pleasant and quick service.

Stayed in NY for just over a week - used Yelp to find a laundry and chose this one. Clothes smell great, very clean, well folded, prices are fantastic, long opening hours. Only issues were they lose one of my girlfriend's bras and we found a different one instead (both were cheap fabric bras so no issues), one of my shirts also shrunk about 2 sizes - but nothing else shrunk or discoloured. read more

We are visiting from Australia and found this laundry on yelp and the Service from the laundry was excellent thanks from the Macca's

Fantastic! They did a big bag of clothes for $16. They came back 5 hours later smelling fresh and folded. Great service!

We needed a laundry as we have been staying in Midtown for the past 4 nights and have got a few more to go so we used Yelp to help us find this spot. In short, brilliant, $10.75 for a huge bag of washing to be cleaned, dried and folded. Turn around was 4 hours for us and clothes were perfect on their return. We'll do more here before we leave NYC. read more
