Service after the sale is a JOKE. The service department is run by an absolute idiot. The sales manager and the store manager are married, so you can guess what kind of response you get there !! I spent 44,000.00 on a new Tri Glide that has electronic problems and wants to go into limp mode intermittently. I have gotten nothing but smoke blown up my ass for 6 weeks and now they tell me nothing is wrong with it !! Definitely shop somewhere else, and get your service done somewhere else !!! read more

After buying a new bike, it started experiencing electronic problems that shut the power down on the highway. Very unsafe !!! The inept service department and the management have given me the runaround for 6 weeks and now tell me nothing is wrong with it !!! Stopped in to pick up a couple of T-shirts. Almost nothing in my size to choose from. Lots in 3-4XXX sizes. I should take a star or two off for that. Considering the insane prices these places charge for T-shirts you'd think they would have lots in inventory. Oh well.... I've been riding Harleys since 1963 and in all that time the Motor Company has never really understood their loyal customer. The lady at the checkout was nice. They have a horrible service department. I was charged for parts I supplied. I was misquoted and overcharged from what I was told over the phone an hour earlier. I was promised a discount because they forgot to order parts for my motorcycle so they had to keep it longer than what they stated. When I asked for my discount the service manager (who originally said he would given me a discount) said he did not know what I was talking about. Save yourself a bunch of money and time and do the work yourself or go to Spokane! read more

On our way from WA to AZ I got a flat rear tire about 10 miles east of Lewiston on a Sunday afternoon. The tow truck driver was friends with Tara (sales) so he made contact with her. I expected to be waiting until Tuesday and normal hours. I was surprised when Tara called me Sunday afternoon and said she was arranging help at the shop. Jim then made contact with me and he and a tech, Darryl, met me at the shop. I was quite impressed with the very fast help and friendliness of the crew. All three were at the shop with me. They fully checked over my 2009 FLHTCU and explained how I could have prevented my problem (underinflation given the load and distance traveled leading to an excessively worn tire) and gave some advice for finishing our trip home to AZ. We made it home without any further issues (1200 more miles). Tara, Jim and Darryl are exceptional examples of Harley dedication. Thank you! read more

On June 15th (Tuesday) I was passing through the area and needed a rear tire. One of the things I have always like about Harley was the stories of shops helping travelers when needed, even on weekends. Don't expect that from this shop. They were not able to get me in for a tire change for "a couple of days" even though they had the tires in stock and it was a day they were already open. Luckily there was another shop in town that went out of their way to make it happen. Staff was friendly, but as I said, I was disappointed that they wouldn't step up to make it happen. read more

We are from near Twin Falls, riding Rattlesnake and had a flat tire about 20 miles from Lewiston. They sent a trailer to pick up the bike without charge. Fit us in, got a new tire on. Service was a bit slow because of the fit in. read more

Last month I was on a road trip with a few friends and one of them needed to get new tires. Called dealership, they said come on in we'll get it done right away, 6 hours later (a lost day of riding) they completed the job. While we were all waiting (under the impression it wouldn't take too long) I noticed a set of lowers hanging on the wall that were color matched to my buddy's bike. The parts guy told us someone had special ordered them and then changed his mind. Decided to pick them up, priced at $599 (new ones retail for $705). They shipped them to my house since it takes a while to install. Once I received them I realized they were not brand new, they had some marks on them that clearly showed they had been on a bike before. There was also a cover plate missing. When I contacted them about the missing part they passed the buck on "assuming" they were brand new, and wouldn't replace the missing part "because they gave me such a killer deal" - well it would have been a killer deal if they were new (as represented) and if all the pieces were there. The missing part is close to $100 so I would basically be paying the price of brand new lowers for used ones. Definitely not the customer experience I've come to expect from Harley. Would never go there again. read more

The minute I walked in the door I was greeted. Everybody was super friendly! I had never been in there before and they gave me the grand tour and introduced me to the whole staff. I would definitely recommend going to this Harley store if you get the chance. I want to go back as soon as I can! read more

This is by the far the WORST Harley Dealership on the face of the planet! Harley likes to project an image of belonging to their "motorcycle family" after you buy one of their bikes, and typically, I find that dealerships do care about their customers and try to go above and beyond the help them. That's why I found this specific location to be so incredibly disappointing and honestly, would encourage people to spend their money any where but here. I was on a motorcycle ride from Montana through Oregon when the friend I was riding with was in a near fatal accident. Unconscious. Air lifted. ICUs. Week-long stay in the hospital. Possibility of brain injury, despite wearing a helmet. It was all really incredibly terrifying and terrible. He is alive, thank God, and recovering, thank God again. But of course his beloved custom bike worth more than $30,000 was totaled. This complete and utter joke of a dealership refused to cooperate with his insurance company because they said he was from Montana and unlikely to buy a bike from Hells Canyon Harley specifically. They just refused to help with the estimate value of his bike or its ability to be repair. What kind of absolute BS is that? His insurance took twice as long to process (literally came back a month later) because of their lack of cooperation. This is no way to treat a customer at any point in time, but especially a customer has been through something extremely traumatic. My friend was a Harley ride for nearly 20 years and has spent a ton of money with Harley over those years. He always had Harley bikes, expensive ones at that, and always customized them. I can say it really damaged his faith in the Harley brand. And frankly, what a bunch of money grubbing, insensitive, selfish assholes. read more

Our group was riding the rattlesnake grade and one of the group hit a rock and bent his rim resulting in a flat tire. We got it to Bogans Oasis and called for a tow truck. a few of us rode into lewiston to this dealership to speed things up in getting the new rim and tire ready for install. We were assured by the service writer that they were working on getting a rim and tire ready so when the bike got there we could get it changed asap. This would allow us to make our return trip before dark. No one wanted to ride the grade or chief Joseph highway after dark due to a large deer population and very winding roads. Anyway after 2.5 hours the bike finally showed up and the service writer had not done anything to expedite the search for a new rim. It was only thanks to an independent shop that we were able to locate a new rim and even after the rim was located the service writer allowed the bike to sit for over an hour. Again only thanks to an independent mechanic working at their shop was the bike finally rolled into the back for the repair. The service writer than informed us that they could not release the bike until a recall for the clutch had been completed, the same mechanic informed her that they didn't even have the parts to to the clutch recall but after checking was able to come up with the parts to also do the recall upgrade. Thanks to the ineptitude of the service writer and her uncaring lazy attitude we left the shop around 6 p.m. which caused us to drive back after dark. I feel that this person not only caused great inconvenience but also put the four of us in a hazardous situation due to their incompetence and unprofessional attitude. I would not recommend this shop for service and would avoid it unless extremely necessary, then make sure you stay on them to get something done. read more
