NEVER GO TO THEM!! RUN FAR AWAY!!! The owner is a f***ing piece of shit! I gave him my computer 1…read moreand a half months ago asking them to replace my laptop keyboard. They said it would be easy and $300. I told them to go ahead and do the work. Then, 3 weeks ago, I call them for an update and the owner kept hanging up on me and telling me that they had to order the part. I asked him why they had not ordered the parts yet and I never got a call back from the owner. Then, I called last week to see if it was done and they said it was finishee. My husband went over there to pick it up today and he told me they never did any work on it. They claimed I said the part was too expensive. I don't know if they're mixing me up with someone else, but it also doesn't make sense to just keep someone's computer for over a month and not do any work. The owner is a lazy ass coward who doesn't want to take responsibility for his own behavior. I can't believe they've been in business for 25 years if this is how they treat their customers. I'm so glad I'm getting my computer back from them so that I can take it to real professionals instead. Update: I talked on the phone with the owner again and this time he told me the part never came in. I told him that's not what he has told me. He then argued with me and then hung up on me.

A repair is only as good as the company performing it, and their warranty only as good as their…read morewillingness to honor it. I chose uBreakiFix because they advertise a "1-Year Limited Warranty that is valid at all locations." Unfortunately, when a display defect developed and progressively worsened after my repair, the warranty claim was immediately denied without anyone physically inspecting the device. I was also told that this store was "privately owned and operated," and therefore can make decisions inconsistent with the advertised warranty that is advertised as being valid at all uBreakiFix locations: https://www.ubreakifix.com/faq. My frustration is not simply that the claim was denied; it's that the decision was made without inspecting the device and without any meaningful effort to determine the actual cause of the issue. I thought I could trust them as a national chain. Instead, they performed shoddy work and refused to stand by their advertised warranty. You're better off going with any local chain that actually cares about quality of work and customer service.

I sent out the SOS for help via Yelp While there were a few others that reached out, Ben's was the first and closest to me. They were willing to meet up and pick up my laptop. They offered a couple different solutions that could keep the costs down, and when it was determined a new screen was needed, sent me a link where I could purchase the parts and save on costs. The repair was fast (including the shipping for parts) and the price came in under my budget. I would def recommend using Ben's Computer for any repair! Simply the best!
