It's a year and a half since Tim mounted my two 13 year old TVs and time to get a new very big screen TV for my living room. My wife spotted Tim's ad on the side of his van and convinced me to give him a call since I'd been delaying mounting our 65" TV for over a year. I swallowed my man pride, and reluctantly agreed. Tim was genial over the phone and even friendlier in person. Bottom line: I'm really glad I didn't mount the TV myself because Tim showed so me many places where things could've gone horribly wrong, starting with the mount I'd initially purchased (too small to reach the wall studs). Tim takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist when it comes to cable management, component positioning, and owner preference. He'll never tell you what you should do but rather suggest other (and trust me, better) options. It's not ego, it's common sense. I ended up paying more than I'd anticipated (even though he gave me a quote up front) not because of Tim upselling but rather because once I saw how efficient he was I had him finish other parts of the project that I'd intended to do after he left (like mounting the soundbar). I had purchased a mount that slides down over the fireplace but Tim informed me how it was not fitted for my TV size. He attempted to install it beforehand and spent a few hours. I can't even begin to state how amazing Tim's work was when it came to my project. I had a Sony TV that was already mounted and wanted to mount an old heavy but very high-quality Samsung TV on the same mount. There were tons of challenges. My old mount wasn't the best color and it wasn't installed very well to begin with. Tim and I did some consultation and decided it would be best for him to come back later once I had bought a white mount so it would match the design of the room. When Tim came back it turned out the mount would not accept my TV due to Amazon's faulty description. Amazingly Tim had a perfect mount in his vehicle which fit and had the exact amount of functionality. He was able to use it and get the job done in this second visit. Plus he did an amazing job of hiding the cords with a white sheath and figured out where I was having power problems. He went way above and beyond getting this thing right.
