I am very upset with my recent installation that was completed by Ken. He made a mess in my house. His installation is way off. He left my television leaning forward. It is misaligned with the sound bar. He never checked to ensure things were working. I asked him to wear a mask. He begrudgingly half masked his mask. He took off his mask in my house when I asked him to keep it on. He left the mask on the table. He has completely messed up my wall. I am worried and concerned about possible damage because now he put a hole in my wall and the sound bar and television installation is crooked and if it is moved it will leave holes in my wall. Pros and Cons: Pro - Ken, the tech who came out, was fantastic. Super friendly, patient and knowledgable. Con - the online billing was really confusing and kind of bait-n-switch-y. It seemed like I couldn't process my appointment or payment if I didn't join the yearly subscription. But I did an online search and it said it was possible to cancel the subscription at no cost. When I contacted HelloTech to cancel, I was told if I canceled, I owed them $70, the balance from the discounts I received. My choice was pay over $220 for a year-long subscription I didn't want in the first place or pony up an extra $70. I sent their customer support team screenshots of confusing pricing online and how the math for fees didn't seem to addd up and that there was no tab to decline the subscription. All I was told was I could either keep the subscription or pay up. That's fishy. read more

I found out about this service when I opened the Ring Doorbell Pro box. It promised easy installations from a pro for $50. I'm an expert at Ikea furniture! Things with wires not so much... $50 seemed unreasonably low for a tech expert to come and mess with wires and I signed up with very low expectations. The sign up process was super easy and I was happy to see that they had after work hour installations until 7 p.m. I booked an installation and was provided with immediate confirmation. Fast forward to the day of the install, the first tech called to say that he wanted to postpone or advance the install since he was fully booked and 70 miles away. He said that he would be in touch. That was the last I heard from him before I received a text saying my tech cancelled on me. I was frustrated, but before I had a chance to vent(literally less than a minute later), I received confirmation that I was back on track to have an install on my originally booked date and time with a new tech! Rainey was wonderful! He arrived early and was able to hit the ground running. He was friendly and confident. He had no problems explaining the process of what he was going to do. We hit a few bumps but he knew exactly how to handle them. He waited to make sure we were satisfied before leaving! The only regrets that I have is not having more gadets for him to expertly install! I really wasn't expecting much, but I am super pleased with the end result. For someone not electrically proficient like I am, this is an awesome service! I'm not sure what their pricing is for all of their services, but if it's similar for home automation installations it seems well worth it! It would seem much if it was a setting up a TV, Alexa or an Echo session, but well worth it for anything that you need to remove or attach to your house with cables. read more

I had an appointment made on a Saturday, set do be done next day Sunday to uninstall a BOSE home theater system and install a new BOSE home theater system. The CSR on the phone verified and repeated the service to be done and repeated my name and phone number. All techs declined to do the job next day, but Carlos accepted the job Monday 9 AM. He showed up on time, said he tried calling me numerous times but it was not my number. I had to explain to Carlos what the job was going to entail. He apologized for the incompetency of the phone reps and said, "it upsets me when they do this and don't communicate, I have standards". He proceeded to inform me that the job was a higher charge because it was much to big. He said he was going to call his boss, and have him call me back with the adjusted charge. Well, Carlos hopped in his truck and bailed on me, no word, no call, no nothing. Carlos is the new Karen. If ANYONE needs work in the 93010 and gets Carlos, kindly decline him doing anything. Got the service via Samsung. Horrible. Their scheduling works something like this... I called for an appointment and was surprised to get one within a week since Samsung sent out the Note 8 presales all at the same time. I setup an account onsite. Apparently it never clicked out of, "locating technician." No one showed up. Went to the site and saw it still said, "locating a technician." I called and was told I only got the appt if they located a technician. Forget the fact they told me initially it was an available date/time. I was very curious how I was ever going to get a window with a technician. This makes absolutely no sense to me as you never seem to get actually aligned with a technician and you wait until your desired appointment to see if someone matches you and then try again. The online help said, "don't worry we will schedule you offline with a real person." Gave a preferred, secondary, third and forth date. Still shows, " locating technician," or similar. Not sure how this can be successful. read more

After 2 appointment to mount a 70 in tv they sent 1 person The first was smart enought to say it is 2 man job but couldn't remember the company required a mask he didn't even have one. I gave him one but he didn't know want to do with it. The second appointment again 1 person. He says he can do it. After 2 hours and him asking me to help a little ole senior lady I tell me to leave the tv has been banged around I am in pain and he has a hard time keeping his mask on and I find out he is a no Vax person. Don't bother calling the company they have a major attitude While I am cleaning up and trying to put this huge tv back in the box I discover part of MY wall mount is missing. So now no Tv.
