No problems for me. Brought in my car to upgrade the stereo…read moreand get a remote start and camera installed. I had done some initial research and knew where I wanted to be price wise. I've also played around with installing things myself but I wanted the wires run in a way that it didn't look like I'd done it myself! I actually came in twice. First to talk options and get estimates and make an appointment. 2nd was to drop off the car. In-between, I did do some price checking. And everything was within the same range. Dropped the car off early since I knew it had to be there awhile. When I called later in the day to get an estimate for a pick-up time, it was about done. Someone walked me through the changes and new equipment. I was pretty comfortable without this but it was fine. I also had someone else in the parking lot with me. But the business should note that some individuals may not want to sit in their cars alone with a stranger. And, if you are picking up your car, bring a friend in this situation to sit with you for the tutorial!

After having a terrible experience on an installation with Best Buy, we were pleasantly surprised…read moreto find the Stereo Shop. We needed a radar detector hardwired in to switched power. They were able to fit us in quickly and do the job that Best Buy could not. They were professional and friendly. The work they did in the car was extremely neat, they did a nice job, and did so for a very reasonable price. In fact, they were even on the lower end of the price range they quoted us. They have made us a customer, as in any future vehicles we purchase, we will come here FIRST.

Wow, just wow! I have first used Dave Digital approximately 10 years ago when we set up a home…read moretheater system when we decided to purchase a new flat screen tv for our home. The staff at that time spent many hours with us to configure a system and to explain the products needed and the prices of each item. We had bought a Samsung Series 8+, Definitive Technology rear speakers, a DT center speaker, a Surfire subwoofer, and a Denon AVR Theatre Surround Receiver. We scheduled a instillation and the crew came over a few weeks later and installed everything to perfection. They set up the system took the specific readings for the speaker layout and set it up and trained us so it was a fun and exciting process. Fast forward 10 years and I decided to upgrade my front speakers that I had bought in 1989 and start shopping around for a new pair. I settled on the Bowers and Wilkins 704 S2. So now I got the bug to start playing vinyl again and went back to "Dave" to look for a turntable. Dave Lane personally helped me decide which turntable would be suitable for my system and showed me the Rega line. I did not want to break the bank for a turntable and after listening to the p2 I decided it would work just fine for my listening needs. I was advised that it would require a pre-amp, (not too expensive) to be able to use with my Denon AVR receiver. Dave went over how to install it, very simple, and set the tone arm to the correct weight and anti skate setting. So now I was not done I enjoyed the experience and service of Dave and had a good connection with him, (we are both the same age and business owners), that I did bite the bullet and purchased a new NAD AV Surround Amplifier to replace my original Denon which by the way still works beautifully. The New NAD is a magnificent product, although expensive upfront, it will bring years of listening pleasure and enjoyment to our family. It puts a smile on my face every time I see and use it. There were some issues with getting it set up but Dave personally came over after work and spent a fair amount of time helping to get it set up correctly. I can not say enough about Dave and his crew. His expertise and products are top notch and can manage to fit entry level components to state of the art under one roof. I highly recommend Dave's Digital. You will be treated right and they we listen to your needs and offer suggestions with sales and service and make sure you are totally satisfied.

Now there are maybe a couple left as the interest in audiophile equipment is fading. I unqualifiedly recommend working with Lance at Forefront Audio. He is more knowledgeable and helpful than the competition. Don't be fooled by the small storefront. He handles a large array of equipment and will help you find the best solution to your audio needs. Its also worth noting that his familiarity with vintage audiophile systems (like mine) is second none.

My wife and I had an exceptional experience working with Kevin and Mark Staudenmayer of Leader TV…read more We had purchased a home that required upgrades to A/V components, a reestablishment of the home audio system, installation of wifi and verification that all A/V systems in the home were operable. A unique thing about Leader TV's service in this area, is that Kevin and Mark are very knowledgeable about both vintage and modern technology representing all the well-known brands. If you have older, high-end equipment that you want to incorporate into a new installation, Leader TV will be a key resource. Kevin and Mark were a joy to work with. They tailored their proposal to meet our A/V budget and provided alternative component selections so we could balance price and performance. Ken and Mark had worked on other homes in the same Pittsford area, so they understood how wires in the home audio systems were routed, how to locate the optimal location for the modem and routers, and were able to complete the project with an absolutely clean installation without visible wires or poorly installed componentry. We are 100% pleased with Kevin's and Mark's work. It was easy to get on their schedule, they delivered the project completely according to the proposal--no surprises, no upcharges. I would not hesitate to work with Leader TV again and I would highly recommend them to others.
