I booked a TV remounting services specifically informing the HelloTech representative that it was for a previously mounted TV by them and needs to be taken off from one wall in the living room to another wall in the same room. He booked a service for me and informed me that he would schedule a technician to arrive on Friday late afternoon. I received a correspondence from HelloTech scheduling Saturday noon appointment instead. On the day of appointment, after being asked to move all my living room furniture including baby playpen by Mark (technician), he said that he would need to add additional service charge for dismounting the TV. He was reluctant to work and asked me to contact the support. There was a total failure of communication between the technician's company and HelloTech. I spent nearly one hour because of the incompetency on HelloTech's part to resolve the conflict between Technician and them. Finally, ended up canceling the order and my HelloTech membership. HelloTech and Mark not only wasted my time but also caused a lot of inconvenience to us. I would not recommend HelloTech since they dispatch the services through other vendors and do not maintain clear communication putting the customers in a spot if the technicians are misinformed. read more

I've had computers in my home office since 1992 & my most recent one, which I bought in 2013 had problems which I could not solve by myself. I have used Geekatoo more than once & have had exceptional techs with Richard being the very best. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable & explained everything without "talking down" to us non-geeks. Problem has been resolved & he gave me advice on how to avoid s similar situation in the future. If I ever have additional problems where I require expert support I will contact Geekatoo & request Richard. Money well spent. read more

Patrick was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have to admit that i was a little skeptical about this whole ordeal. However, Patrick demeanor and customer focus doing the whole time he was at my residence won me over. Moreover, I was so impressed with how he educated and walked me through on what he was doing that you can consider me a lifetime customer and I will definitely spread the word to my family and friends. Brian was great. He explained everything he was doing and the reasons why. First he checked the hard drive to determine if it was "healthy" enough to reinstall the platform. He backed up all my data. Then he removed a bunch of spyware files and cleaned up cookies, temp files and other unnecessary files. He reloaded the OS and all my files and drivers. Mike was very courteous and considerate. He wore his face mask for the entire visit. He seemed very knowledgeable about setting up home theater. However, he encountered a problem with our system because the new A/V receiver is not compatible with our existing speakers, so he was unable to complete the job. Not his fault. I will need to buy speakers that are compatible with a 7.1 receiver before the work can be completed. read more

Patrick was very nice and he spent time fixing my PC. He even tried to reinstall ITunes which turned out to be the root of some of the problems. I would recommend geekatoo to others. I tested internet access, sending email and access to Microsoft Works software and everything is working again. I also notice an increase in response time. Geekatoo gives you value for your money!
