Not only did Kenny get the job done in a timely fashion, he has great communication. He picked up the PC just about 2 hours after I called, and dropped it off within 2 days. This is a review for May 2012 service. I took my desktop to Atop because it was running slow. It turned out I had virus on my computer and Kenny (I think he's the owner) got it fixed the next day for $85. I had a similar problem last year and took it to Best Buy, they charged me $250 and another $50 for virus detection software that obviously didn't work. They don't open on Sunday, but I asked Kenny if I could stop by to pick up my computer after church and he was cool about it. Very happy with the service! 2 computers repaired, quick friendly service and absolutely affordable! If I have any issues later in life with any computer, this is where i will be going! My first thought was maybe I ask my so called friends in Feasterville at the local comic book store could they suggest a shop to fix my PC. They did, it was a local store up the street from the comic book store on Bustleton Ave in Feasterville. I cannot give a fair review of his shop, because over time we became friends. I know a good chunk of his family and by giving you to you the reader a honest opinion, just may kill our friendship.Besides he is not even listed on this site and if he found out I went somewhere else, it may hurt the friendship. He does most of his advertising by word of mouth. So I wanted a store close to home and "A-Top" was a good fit for me. I drove by the store and it is in a nice part of Bensalem, (there really is not any bad part of Bensalem). I called the number on the Yelp advertisement, Ken, (the owner answer) He said come in anytime I am open is cool to drop off your PC. I forgot to ask him when he opens, the Yelp add say 10:00 AM. So I went over there the next day, looked inside the window and saw a mess inside the store. I thought Ken was moving, "nope" postman said and he also remarked that the store usually opens between 12 and 1PM. So I came back. He was opened around twelveish, I walked in the store got a closer look inside and at first thought that he had survived a fire, but the walls were not charred. Ken was there behind the counter. So you know and you are not surprised, Kenny is Asian; he runs a one man shop. He greeted me in a T-shirt and gym shorts. He runs around the store in bare feet; I hope his tetna's are up to date, because there was a lot of broken electronic parts on the floor. I told him I was "hacked" and he told me, he would peel the hard drive, clear everything out and rebuild what I had. He recommended that I use webroot and he would install it free of charge, I just pay for the software, ($15). I asked him for estimate and he told me flat out that he would charge me $85 to fix my PC, call him in a day or two. He told me even if he fixed it, there still may be residual virus from the hack; but to this day I have had no problems. He also promised to download my favorite game if I brought the disks in. I told him I like having icons on my computer and do not put chrome on my PC. So what does he do, he put chrome on my PC! My favorite game was not downloaded right! I could not download it myself. When I go to make icons, a folder comes attached to the icon and all the icons have the google circle symbol, instead of individual of the companies symbol like I had before. I asked him to take chrome off my PC and he told me to do it myself. I asked him make symbols for my icons, he did 3 and told me to do the rest myself. I thought about being the first murderer in Bensalem history, (seriously, I am joking). I offer to pay him for what I requested, over the $120 he charge me and he still said "no"! So he could not get webroot and put AVG on instead. If he was a true professional he would of called me and asked if the was alright. No, I have to find out he already did it without asking me. Would I go back to him? I will when pigs fly! But Ken was always polite to me, but he is not a true professional in his field. My biggest mistake was I left my PC with him without getting a receipt when I dropped it off and he gave me a sneer after I payed for the repairs when I asked for a receipt; I brought my PC 2 more time because I was not satisfied and he still would not budge.Guess I will never do business with him again. I did not challenge the bill with my credit card company like I should of, mainly because he was a family man. read more

Kenny Cheung, the owner/operator is amazing! If your computer just stops working, if it working slow and you are pulling out your hair and need it fixed NOW, Kenny is the man to go see. He has been my computer repairman for atleast 8 years. I would never, ever trust anyone else because he is that good. He even went above and beyound for me on several occasions because he knows my computers are not for playing around --they are primarily used for running my business. If you have a computer issues. Disaster! My laptop crashed at 6pm on Saturday night and I had a presentation to give Monday morning. The laptop would not start up.. I called HP customer service and they told me that according to the symptoms, I lost all of my data and that there was a good chance I would have to reformat the entire computer. which means of all my work, files photos, ect would be lost ! Ahhhh!!!... I drove over to the store and called the emergency phone # listed in the window of the store. The Guy Answered right away, and offered to come to my house to pick up the laptop so he could see what he could do to help me out. The next morning he called me and confirmed that the laptop would require a new hard drive and that he could attempt to recover the files on the old hard drive. Success!!!! They recovered all of my work, wedding photos, word docs, ect, (my life essentially) , repaired my laptop and delivered it back to my house by 6:30pm the following day! - Mothers Day! wow... and all in time for me to open and finish the presentation i worked weeks on so i could give on Monday morning! My 2-year-old Windows laptop died on me. I took it to a repair shop I had been to in the past (for another electronic item, with good results). Per their diagnostic, it was revealed that the hard drive was shot. They were about to charge me close to $300 and have me wait 5 to 7 business days because it was a "big job." Thank God it's just my personal laptop, and not the one I use for work. I'm not the most technical person, but even I know that a 1TB spindle hard drive does not cost hundreds of dollars. Granted, a busted hard drive is kind of a big deal, but I felt like I was being gouged. (Not to mention, the representative I dealt with was rather condescending.) Fortunately, I found that down the road from this repair shop was Atop Computers. Kenny quoted me at a much lower price ($160 before tax) and a much quicker turnaround time (1 to 2 days). I bid the first repair shop adieu and took my busted laptop to Atop, where I had my system serviced in approximately 24 hours. It runs beautifully, and it even has Chrome installed! It was a pleasure to do business with Kenny. I'll admit that the shop itself is a little offputting because it's not terribly organized or neat, but given the high quality of service I received at the price I paid, I would certainly return for any future computer problems (although I hope I don't ever have to!). read more

I've brought a few laptops here over the years to get fixed and I've always had exceptional service from Kenny. He's a nice guy and knows his stuff. This place is great!! It all started a few weeks ago when my computer wouldnt turn on. After searching through yelp, I decided to take my chances with this mom and pop shop. Kenny welcomed me into the shop and was very professional. I left my computer there and he said he'll have to run some tests to figure out what was wrong. I received a call the next day and was informed that my power supply was fried. I didn't know what this meant but I know that everything comes at a cost. I come to pick up my computer and the receipt says FREE! Kenny said he had an extra power supply lying around that he wasn't putting to use. He didn't want to take my money! We came to a comprimise and I told him I will bring him breakfast/lunch the next time I came. I haven't had computer problems since, so I still owe him food. 5 stars for professionalism and customer service!!! read more
