Jason was great called me in advance showed up on time and did his best to provide the service but in the end he was not able to successfully hook up the cable service. Also, while the wired Internet service is working. The Wi-Fi Internet service is not working and the cable is also not working at all. Yes, using hellotech to install a security system that I already purchased from CoveSmart where I was already having problems pairing the cameras or even getting them to work. They refunded my money in full hellotech wanted to charge me $245 to move a camera and put it somewhere else. Someone had come in before and put up the brackets for the solar cam and the doorbell cam. I was just changing your location of the doorbell cam and hellotech refuses to give me my $245 by all means. The gentleman who came into install the security cameras and sensors which were not installed does deserve to get paid for his time, but I don't deserve to be getting charged $245 for a system that's not even hooked up completed much less the sensors even opened or stuck to any of the windows. I have the pictures on the on the bottom. Hellotech needs to refund my $245 even if it is a third of that to pay the tech for his 1 hour of time. That's fair but charging me close to $300 for a system that's not even working and practically everything is brand new sensors, key fobs and cameras, solar and doorbell. I am highly disgusted and irritated with hellotech. They basically are not a trustworthy company they have told me that I would not be getting any money back. I gave him a call and sent them every picture that is included on this review to let them know that I have nothing to lie about. My word is my bond and they're in the wrong so hopefully after speaking with them and them speaking with the tech who I was also in contact with I should hopefully be getting my money back read more

Well this service was about as poor as it can get. I scheduled an appointment for 4 pm. I was out with my family at 1:30 pm and got the notification that he was on his way and would be arriving at 1:45pm. Ok so we hurried home, but he didn't arrive until 2:45pm. We went upstairs to look at the modem and the Orbi Mesh system that we have installed and he couldn't fugue out which was the modem and which was the Mesh Router I had to show him. He then connected to the WiFi and said that speed is good I don't see a problem. So I asked him to follow me around to the other Mesh stations to show him how the service was dropping off severely. He said yes that's bad go buy a new google mesh system and that was it. He spent maybe 5 minutes in the house and offered no solutions other than to say go buy something else. My service was scheduled for 9-1 pm, then confirmed for 12 pm. At 12:05 the tech called to say he was running late and would be there at 6 pm! A SIX HOUR DELAY. I had taken half the day off from work to be there at the confirmed time of 12 pm. I then called to speak to someone at Hellop Tech who told me there was nothing they could do. She said they couldn't try to find another tech unless she canceled my appointment and that she probably wouldn't be able to find anyway for the same day. She also told me that I couldn't get any discount for my trouble of a SIX HOUR delay. I understand things happen, but a 6 hour delay is ridiculous. The representative on the phone was completely unhelpful and unapologetic about and basically just kept saying , "I can't reschedule the appointment and I can't give you a discount," over and over again. This is absolutely absurd and the WORST experience I have ever had with scheduling and customer service. I would not want this tech to return to my home in the future. His attitude was very condescending and disrespectful and it made me uncomfortable in my own home. Every time I asked him a question, he responded in a way that meant to demean me. I am also upset I had to pay 80.00 for a door bell installation that was not able to be hardwired and was also placed crooked as the tech did not use a level for any of the products installed. I could have done a better job and the reason I paid for the installation was to have a professional and this person just seemed to not care. Not only that, he acted like I was wasting his time when I asked him to wait on the door bell installation because I wanted to call Hello Tech to confirm the price. I thought the price for a hard wire installation was different but it was not. He installed the door bell too high and did not have me look at the camera view to make sure it was in the right spot before he drilled through my door columns. I did ask him to drill it higher but he should have had me look at the camera view before hand to make it was on the right place.i also had a problem with one of the pieces of equipment as it kept erroring as a low battery, and he told me it was the touch screen and I said I that I thought it was the hub. He told me he could not help me with this and that I had to call the company. It turns out that it was the hub and not the touchscreen like he thought it was and had insisted it was as he did not listen to me about it. At one point during the installation he could not get something to work as the network was down and I had to look at the touchscreen myself and figure it out. He did not seem knowledgeable about the product. Not only that but he did not offer to mount my hub or touchscreen and actually told me there was no mount for the touchscreen.
