    The two flavors I got

Love this place! The staff is always laid back and smiling. Just love the uniqueness and all the things they have inside, it's one of those places you have to experience for yourself, they have so much. The ice cream was so delicious!

Looking for something sweet and I saw they weren't open, but doing local deliveries for online orders. They at least 100 different items. Candies from my childhood I haven't seen in a while. Owner was amazing answering my questions via IG messages. Same prices you'd expect in any corner store but they carry European specialties as well. My mom was excited to finally get her hands on an Aero bar since it has been a minute since we went over the border. Spectacular customer service and huge selection. If you need something special for Easter look them up!

    Bulk candy prices

Lollipop, lollipop, I want a lollipop... I have an incredibly soft spot for candy shops. It's kind of like the toy store phenomenon, where my inner child screams out. Literally. Like thank my lucky stars that nobody was leaving the laundromat, or I would have spooked them into dropping their no longer freshly clean underoos onto the pavement. I walked past the old pizza storefront for weeks, waiting for the coming soon sign to be replaced with a 'hey, we finally came,' sign. And then wa-bam, it was open, and I was screaming again. I dragged my best friend along, bouncing in excitement as if the sugar had already hit my veins. On my last trip to Cleveland I had visited a similar concept store, and had pouted the entire ride home that there was nothing comparable in my neck of the woods. While this place is a fraction of the size, it does its best to send the salivary glands into overdrive in the space it covers. To the right there is a wall of gourmet sodas, constantly restocked with eye catching flavors. I've never had the urge to drink grass, or kitty piddle, but I get entranced every time I stop in. On the opposing wall is a bulk candy section with gummies and bites in an organized line. We've splurged there before, and it's a easy gateway to getting addicted to the candies you don't want to risk buying an entire case of, only to find out it was the best thing your teeth had sunk into in weeks. This stuff is legit. Ma'am, you're going to give me cavities if you stay in business. The lady in charge is as sweet as her offerings, with popcorn, cotton candy, and imported treats throughout the store. The prices are agreeable. The hours are reasonable. The only thing not to like is that this place hadn't arrived sooner. Bring your friends, bring your appetite, and remember kiddos: brush your stinking teeth.

Hello Sweets sweet stop with my sweetie for our anniversary getaway weekend. :-D
    Tara K.

My husband and I recently dined at nearby Guud and Evul (which is AMAZING, by the way), and when strolling back to our car noticed Hello Sweets. We were on our anniversary weekend stay'cation, so no better reason for a little sweet indulgence than 14 years of marriage, ha! Hello Sweets is mostly throw-back candies and sodas, with a very small case of chocolate truffles. The bulk of the store is a decent assortment of candies that will have you repeatedly saying, "I remember this!", "Do you remember that one?", "I haven't seen this one in years!", especially if you are an 80s baby. In addition to all the throwbacks, there is a good assortment of Canadian candy bars, bulk by-the-pound gummies and hard candies, and novelty sodas. Some of the sodas are throwbacks, some are just gross shock-value flavors that cater to eight-year-old-boy proclivities, hahaha. They actually carry Moxie, a black licorice flavored soda, still made and popular in the state of Maine. Unfortunately no diet Moxie in stock, but my husband and I did snag a couple bottles of a diet black cherry soda. We also grabbed a couple chocolate covered cherry candies and a couple Canadian candy bars to munch on together later. There isn't much assortment of more gourmet filled chocolates, just a small case of truffles that seemed like they may be old, as it was mid-January and there was still eggnog and candy cane flavors on display. But Hello Sweets isn't really a gourmet confectioner, their sweet spot (pun intended, haha) is nostalgia candies that bring you back to a simpler time. When you are in the mood for Bazooka gum, candy cigarettes, Pop Rocks, a Charleston Chew, Razzles, wax bottle candy sodas, Mallo Cups, or any number of memorable candies, Hello Sweets probably has it!

Friendly staff who really know their vintage candy.

Great selection, wonderful people to work with! Plus, they have Merckens chocolate, and I like to make my own for Christmas.

Their selection is incredible and the staff is so friendly. I love the homey atmosphere and the seasonal decorations. They have the chocolate shop that dreams are made of, then they ALSO have the adorable retro sundae bar with great seating and a huge menu. The specialty sundaes and desserts are top notch and creative. Take a date! They're open late! Take a box of baklava to go!

When you enter, if you take a left you end up in the Candy Shop, and if you take a right you end up at the Ice Cream Shop. We did a quick pass through of the Candy shop, they have quite the selection, and the lady who was working at the time was incredibly friendly. The candy itself seemed to be a bit on the pricy side for what it was. On to the Ice Cream shop! They had quite a decent selection of flavors, and the day happened to be buy 1 get 1 free Pie slice day, so that is what we did. We went for once slice of the Apple Pie, and one Slice of the Peanut Butter Pie, to share. While the price was good for the pies, considering one slice was free, both slices seemed stale, and the apple pie seemed well underbaked. It was very clean inside, and we had the place to ourselves. I love tipping for good service, when I paid, I tipped 20% even through the employee seemed less than thrilled we were there. Not certain what the tip was for as we ended up having to go grab our own desserts, as well as bus our own table.
