Scoops On Center offers scoops and standard sundaes as well as specialty items such as ice cream tacos and nachos. So far, in my two visits, I have only tried scoops in a dish. My favorite was the Dubai chocolate ice cream. It was creamy and had a great amount of crunchy kataifi throughout. But, I enjoyed the other flavors I tried too, which were raspberry chip cheesecake & Michigan pothole. I will definitely back to try an ice cream taco and other hard scoop flavors that I haven't tried yet.

Cuccidati Inc. had a booth at the event ... and they had me at the word "cuccidati". :-D LOVE these cookies! If you are unfamiliar, cuccidati are iced-and-sprinkled fig-filled Italian cookies. They're like a soft, delectable, gourmet, top-shelf, high-class, prettier Fig Newton, but way better, haha. Whenever I see an Italian cookie spread at a gathering, I always b-line for dibbs on the cuccidati. And Cuccidati Inc.'s cuccidati did not disappoint! These were a bit different from cuccidati I've had before. They weren't quite as sweet, not as thick-white of an icing as usual. And the filling seemed more natural, like more purely fig, as opposed to the more artificial extract flavor of some cuccidati. I do like the creamier cuccidati filling I'm used to, with more of a jam consistency. But these were good too, you could feel chewy bits of real fig fruit in each bite. If you prefer a cookie that isn't too rattle-your-teeth-sweet, you will probably enjoy Cuccidati Inc.'s cookies very much. We spoke with the owners when we were at the fresh-air market, and they were very sweet and friendly. They of course bake their namesake, but also bake many other cookies too. They don't have their own storefront, they sell by order, or at local venues and events. Many varied flavors, some with cute names like the "Elvis" etc. Others are chocolate. Strawberry. Etc. These cupcakes are a good size, not too big, not too small, just right. They are generous with frosting, but its not overwhelming. Ive tried many of the regular flavors and many of the gluten free ones. If you pick out a gluten free with some others, they will package it differently if needed, without hesitation at all. Super focused on that. These cupcakes are creative and have fun names. I think they are a little sweet overall, but because they are packaged really well and the proprietors are just fantastic; I look forward to buying from them. They always have a smile and a moment to interact with customers. The cupcakes also store well for a day or two, just remember to take them out of the fridge a hour or so before eating them. The cupcake didn't have taste to it. Disappointed. Then I have to say I said something to the owner. Well he certainly wasn't a peach to take care of it. He complained and said how it's fresh made. Well when you got frozen cupcake you bite into you expect fresh not old ones. So I asked for a new cupcake I wanted a peanut butter cup. Looked like maybe it was fresh. Well again customer service and cupcakes were rated a 0 Again the cupcake was rock hard. Tasted like they over put frosting and load peanut butter into it Honestly I had my wife before this eat blackouts and got a 12 pack ordered. She shows up at the house expecting a great looking house. GARBAGE outside. Things around by trailer. The house looked like a dump. My wife thinks ok I'll walk up to the door. Unfortunately, there are only a few truly unique candies on offer; most all of the inventory is mass-produced candies and bulk sweets. This is more a retailer than a confectioner, as it seems like they don't really make anything in-house. They do stock local producer Platter's chocolates and sponge candy, and have some other loco-regional treats like Coffee Crisp, but otherwise it feels in most respects like any retail-only candy store. If you happen to be walking/driving by and need a quick glucose fix, feel to stop in if you have a few minutes and patronize a small business; just don't feel the need to head out of your way for it.
