If you want quality chocolates, don't hesitate to buy here! I had my first taste of their chocolate when someone gave me a bit of their valentine's gift- been a fan ever since. It's even better than the local chocolate shop in depew- Not only is it better, they also have smaller portions so you don't have to buy a mega bunch. The inside of the store is like - well, I felt like a kid in a candy shop- ( pun intended). They have everything you'd need ! It also looked like there is an online area where you can prepay online and pick up quickly in store. There's a decent size parking lot too. The prices are comparable to all others, however, like I said before you can buy a smaller prepackaged size for your personal needs . First time at Park Edge, though my husband has been here before to buy me candy. We got there 10 minutes before closing time and weren't sure if we could even get in. Just the opposite happened. We weren't rushed at all as we wandered around checking things out and talked to the guy working about the different kinds of sponge candy. Not being Buffalo natives we actually never had it before moving here. Been here a while now but am still amazed at the fascination. That being said. It actually was very good. Park Edge sells it in logs rather than the squares I'm used to seeing. My husband thought the chocolate was a bit thick but I'm under the believe if you're eating chocolate then there's no such thing as too much. Personal taste. We got the dark chocolate and it was excellent, creamy and smooth with a bit of a carmel flavor on the sponge interior. We also purchased some sugar free chocolates which is what I normally eat. Today I tried the peanut butter filled. Lol you don't want to eat too much of that at one sitting. The chocolate was just as good as the regular which is no small feat. Sugar free chocolate can taste pretty bad with an bitter aftertaste if not made properly. Didn't have that problem here. It was so good! We'll be back. 2021-151 read more

I am a dark chocolate person. Park Edge has a wide variety of dark chocolate items: sponge, covered pretzels, non-pareils, covered marshmallows, Charlie Chaplins. Of course there is the same variety in milk chocolate, but that's not my preference from a good candy store. read more

I haven't been here for a few years so since I was in the neighborhood I thought I would stop, especially since it happened to be Sponge Candy Day. It was as I remembered from past visits. They have a good selection of chocolates in addition to Buffalo Bills parafinallia. On Sponge Candy Day they were offering a 10% discount on all Sponge Candy. My flavor of choice was dark chocolate. The pieces were in the shape of 2 inch logs. They taste good but the chocolate coating was a little too thick for my liking and overpowered the sponge. Stopped by here last night to get some stocking stuffer chocolates. I try to support here and Ko-Ed candies on alternate holidays so I can support both but I was honestly very disappointed this time around at Park Edge. The girl working the cash register wasn't overly friendly and kind of rushed me out and the stock was extremely low so I couldn't get any of the things I went for. Ended up going over to Ko-Ed to get the rest. I'm sure they very busy especially the week of Christmas so I could forgive the low stock but that's no excuse to be rude to customers. read more

A hidden gem in South Buffalo! If you need your fix of chocolate - here's the place to go. Upon walking in, you're greeted by the smell of chocolate (it's like Willy Wonka wonderfulness) and a variety of chocolates for purchase. Park Edge has sweets that meet every need. I don't know how they do it but their milk chocolate is very smooth and creamy, while their dark chocolate is the perfect mix of dark and sweet. Their prices are reasonable and the quality of their product is great! The employees are super helpful! Pro-tip: Get their sponge candy logs. SO GOOD! I had to buy two bags. Park Edge is delicious! They make some of their sponge candy in long sticks (think like a giant Kit Kat) and then some in the traditional square shape. I decided to stop down and get some sponge candy for myself and the bf to share for Valentine's Day (aka an excuse to get chocolate). We got the orange milk chocolate which to my surprise was not in the stick shape, but the traditional shape. Oh well... it's still delicious! The long sticks are very good for those who may not like as much sponge and want to enjoy more of the chocolate. The chocolate itself is smooth and tasty, and the sponge is perfectly spongy! I also picked up some dark chocolate coconut clusters which are equally delicious because I have an obsession with coconut clusters. I think Ko-Ed Candies has a large presence in S. Buffalo, but Park Edge (two blocks down) is another great option for those looking to change it up. I do wish they had dark chocolate orange, but that seems to be rare at a lot of places. Prices are pretty reasonable for quality chocolate, but maybe a bit on the high side. Either way, it's worth it! read more

Best candy in buffalo. I drive from the north towns and make the trip out here to get candy it's just that good. My coworkers client brought her some for her birthday and it was love at first bite. The quality of the chocolate is top shelf with the perfect amount of sweetness. Their sponge candy comes in long thin bars (they have squares for the traditionalists too, don't fret) and just the change in chocolate ratio knocks it out of the park.
