Just have to brag about my experience with Angelique! I had a Brazilian + a few other services done and she was SO thorough. I was in and out in 30 mins. Fast and efficient! Literally could not ask for a better waxing experience. Do yourself a favor and go and see Angelique read more

The girl who did my eyebrows did so haphazardly and was very messy. I could hear her throwing stuff on the ground while she was doing my eyebrows, there were strings of wax around, and she got really close to my hair and eyelashes. It was a really uncomfortable experience whereas I've had very calming experiences getting my eyebrows done. When I checked my eyebrows out after there were several patches that she missed. The wax was also ridiculously expensive for the treatment received. $20 for a clean-up is overpriced but I'll pay it if the esthetician is good and the experience is comfortable. This place was not at all worth $20. read more

This was by far one of the worst experiences and lack of customer service for the first time. I couldn't even be greeted or acknowledged by a manager Nicole to help solve a situation and a young lady at the front was not helpful at all. First time coming and won't be back... terrible first impression with speaking to someone regarding an appointment. read more

I would never recommend this place. I hated my service. I got a Brazilian wax. It was by far the worst. Towards the end when the lady was trying to sell me a membership plan, it's like she knew I wasn't going to buy (I never buy cause I go whenever I want even if it's months in between not every 4-6 weeks) it so instead of treating me with care she ripped off the wax without even a warning. Every waxer I've been to always tells me to breath in and breath out for the rip. She didn't do it, just to hurt me. Every waxer I've been to that I'm not a regular with, does that crap and it's ridiculous that you feel you have to inflict pain without warning just because someone doesn't wanna buy your membership so you can make your commission. Total bs. My lips hurt for two days. That never happens not even with my first ever wax. She also asked me for a tip. What kinda crap is that? I hated my service, her technique was horrible and so painful compared to my very first wax and every other wax I've ever had, yet I was guilted into tipping, because she practically begged for it in front of another customer and that makes me look shitty if I would've said no gratuity just my bill thanks. She literally said "gratuity in cash or card?" Like what??? Who tf even asks that. I work in a place where I get tipped. Not once have I or anyone ever asked for a tip. It's never expected, just appreciated. I will never be returning to your location. By the way Nijera Bell was my waxer. I would recommend European Wax and Urban Wax over this place. They have better prices, waxers, technique and aftercare. I just came to this place because my waxers were booked out. Save yourself from the pain and don't come here or at least to this specific person. read more

how do I get you to stop charging monthly charges? I have cancelled and you keep charging me. I live in Connecticut now and have no desire to pay you for no service. Please respond. read more

I've been waxed four times at three different places. This was my worst experience. I was the last appointment of the day and the esthetician seemed rushed. I found whole portions left unwaxed when I got home. She had difficulty ripping the strips off and it often took her several attempts, which was especially painful. I am also now dealing with ingrowns, which have never been an issue before. I likely won't be returning. read more

The place is so cute and the receptionist was so nice and talkative not rude at all! I've gone to a different waxing place and they would do an okay job on my Brazilian wax. Once I found this place, I decided to try it out and it's amazing! Molly did an excellent job and was super nice! She didn't make me feel awkward at all. She exceeded my expectations. I now have a membership with them read more

I've found my new waxing place!! Nicole was amazing!! It was my second time getting a Brazilian done and my first one was not pleasant. A little pain is to be expected but my first was very rough, and missed a lot! Nicole made sure to be thorough, and made me feel relaxed. She was also empathetic with the fact that waxing isn't totally painless which I appreciated! I chose sugar wax and I understand the hype now! Definitely less painful than traditional waxing, and the results are already so much better!! I will be back and refer my friends! :-) BONUS: if you refer someone you and your friend get a $15 gift card. Amazing. read more

Rocio did a really great job with my Brazilian! It was definitely less painful than all others and very thorough! I did exfoliate and was hydrated well so that might have helped but I think she did great! read more

What a great experience! I had Chaunacy do my first ever Brazilian wax and she was great! I arrived a little bit before my scheduled time but didn't wait too long to be seen. She made me feel super comfortable and explained every step of what she was doing before doing it. Minimal pain. I was just visiting the area, but I wished I lived here so I could come back! Highly recommend! read more

Love Niko! She is the best! I always have trouble finding a great water and she is perfection. She is personable, professional and so wise. The customer service is always so great too! Everyone is so great at their jobs! I love it! read more

At the beginning I used to LOVE this place but lately it has been very disappointing. I was debating whether to post this or not but here it goes. I understand with everything going on with the pandemic some staff will be calling off or not show up because they're sick. But today AGAIN my appointment was rescheduled. So it's fine it got delayed... when I got there I couldn't find parking so I took about 5 minutes parking my car. Then, I walked in and the receptionist was nice and understanding that the parking was full therefore I got there late (Honestly, I would've been on time for my appointment if it wasn't for the restaurant next door taking all the parking.) Anyway, the receptionist texted the esthetician that I had arrived. We could hear that the esthetician was on a personal phone call and didn't reply to the receptionist. The receptionist and I were just waiting. After a while, she finally replied and said she wouldn't take me anymore because she was having dinner and I was 5minutes late! Are you serious?!! I thought the policy clearly states you can be up to 10 minutes late before they cancel your appointment. Back to my point, she didn't want to take me in because she was having dinner 5 minutes after my appointment!? An appointment that was suppose to last 5 to 10 minutes. It's very frustrating especially since I pay my membership and I tip 20% or more always for the services I get. I didn't get the esthetician's name or see her at all but It's very unprofessional the way she behaved today. I'm sorry but, Why go to work if you don't want to be there? So basically, my appointment gets rescheduled because another girl couldn't make it to work. Then, my second choice doesn't want to take me because she's talking on the phone and having dinner! Not sure if I want to keep my membership here anymore. Very unprofessional today and at the end I end up losing because I didn't get my wax. I suggest at least a couple of parking spots reserved specifically for the store to avoid future delays because of parking. read more

So I will start by saying I was a mess when I went to Sugar ME. I had been shopping around on Groupon and came across Sugar Me. I got a call back from the secretary who was able to squeeze me in for a last minute session. He was very nice and helpful even when I couldn't find the place he helped with directions and waited for me at the door. Now Layne is the women who cleaned me up. She was nice, patient, and worked very hard. African American hair is a bitch. I will be going back to her and will be taking my daughter along as well to get her brows fixed up. A women mentioned fun, I have to disagree it was painful as FUCK! But I am obviously going back because 3 weeks of softness and no razor bumps is amazing. Oh and it was a Brazilian Wax. read more

Layne should be dubbed the QUEEN OF BROWS!! Her personality and wit are only 2nd to her amazing talents and I would trust her to wax me bald-headed (and I bet she'd STILL make me look gorgeous! LOL)!! Initially found her through Groupon and won't trust my brows to anyone else! Be sure to take advantage of her 'Monthly Brow' deal if you get them waxed as frequently as I do. Saves you tons of dough and you'll always look your BEST! Professional, Personable, and Prompt will have me coming back every 3 weeks and spreading the word about Sugar Me Wax! Thanks Layne!:-) read more

I'm extremely disappointed with Sugar Me Wax, I have been coming here for quite some time with great experiences but my last sugaring service was awful. I have scabbing on my underarm from my aesthetician being too aggressive with the sugar. I understand that you train your staff but I had to sit with an ice pack for hours. read more

Best place ever! I saw Layne, she is amazing!!! Made me feel comfortable, extremely knowledgeable, best price in town! Going to come back every month!!! Five starts. I loved my first experience at Sugar Me Wax. I felt totally comfortable in the soothing ambiance of the salon. And when I met Layne I was even more at ease--she's such a joy to work with. She was super friendly and understanding and works at a pace that's comfortable for you. I'm so happy with the results. Making an appointment was easy and they have great step by step directions on how to find the salon. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone wanting a wax, even people who have never waxed before! I can't wait to visit their new Scottsdale location! read more

Best.Wax.Ever. Seriously, not kidding. I have been getting monthly brazilians from Layne and she is hands down the best esthetician I have ever had the joy of working with. Both locations are decorated super cute, the scheduling system is a breeze, and the monthly plan is totally the way to go. The waxing experience itself is quick and relatively painless. Hard wax is a game changer people. I felt super comfortable all throughout. Thank you so much! read more

Excellent experience! I've been waxing for years, so I know a thing or two about it. I'd been out of the habit for about six months when I finally got it together and went in to the 44th street location. Best choice I could have made, and Ramona was FABULOUS. I signed up for the membership, and already set my next appointment up... got a full Brazilian and feeling all shined and new! Lol read more

I was very excited to get a full brazilian after not getting a wax after a month and a half. The staff was very friendly and helpful, i felt comfortable by all means! After I got waxed, there were many places that my aesthetician missed. I went home and got all the places she missed with a WAX STRIP. I've been getting waxed for about 6 months now, so I understand a few hairs here and there, but there were patches left after the wax. Not very happy, super sad because I was expecting so much more read more

I have come here once a month for the last year and I love them. I see Angelique every month and she's awesome. She is quick and really nice. I have their monthly membership which makes it easier as well. This is my go to spot for waxing. read more

My first time here and Layne attended me. I got the bikini full. She was gentle and made sure I was as comfortable I can be for a waxing. Very knowledgeable and takes her time. She even gives out little treats after..hmmm. I, from now on will be a regular. read more

So happy I was able to get an appointment with Layne, she's a busy lady but she's worth the wait to book with. She gave me a proper consultation regarding my brows because I really wanted something that would not only look amazing but work well with my face shape. Usually after waxings I'm constantly looking in the mirror after and find all the things I need to fix or still hiding them with my bangs, but not with Layne! I left feeling so excited that she was confident in getting my brows where I wanted them to be. She took her time and I felt totally comfortable talking to her and addressing my concerns. Now I'm brushing my bangs aside to show these beauties off, I can't stop looking at them, in a good way! read more

Stopped by Sugar Me Wax to get a last minute Brazilian while traveling in Phoenix. So glad they had a new customer special! The wax studio was comfortable and they got the job done. Great experience! I went in for the ever horrifying brazilian wax expecting that I would be traumatized and in unbelievable pain. After discussing with Crystal, I decided to go with the sugaring technique. BEST DECISION EVER. It decreased my pain significantly and left my skin nice and soft. Crystal also made me feel at ease the entire time and was very friendly. I will definitely be going to Sugar Me regularly. They also have great promotions and memberships options for people that get waxing done regularly. You can save quite a bit of money by signing up for these. For first time visitors, it's important to know that the place is kind of hidden. There isn't any signage pointing to Sugar Me. It is in a big business complex on the second floor inside an office called Mosharrafa. read more

Just had my Brazilian wax appointment with niko. She was great and the wax went smooth and almost painless :)

I love Sugar Me Wax! The prices are affordable compared to what else is out there, and the decor is very modern and makes me feel so pampered. I have seen many aestheticians and everyone at Sugar Me Wax uses best practices. I have only had positive experiences here and highly recommend them! read more

Honestly left this appointment wondering how waxing could be this painful yet people go monthly. They wax (or at least my attendant did) in HUGE portions making the pain so much worse. I remember wincing & low yelling for most of this appointment. Decided to venture to another company (Waxing the City) and it was night & day better; turns out waxing isn't painful just this place was. read more

Such a great experience. As great as getting hair ripped from your nether regions can be ;) Booking process was smooth and easy, I was able to get a same day appointment too. My tech, Niko, was super sweet and accommodating. She worked swiftly and made sure several times through the appointment that I was doing ok. One thing to know about the Camelback location, it's in the Sachi Salons building. It was a little hard for me to find at first because I didn't know that. Highly recommend this place for sugaring services. I am already booked again for another appointment. read more

I LOVE this place. I've tried many different waxing places and I feel like Sugar Me is the best. Lexis did my waxing and she was so nice, quick, and did an outstanding job. She didn't miss a spot. I'm now a convert. The only negative thing (which isn't that bad) is that this place is hidden. It's in a plastic surgery office with no mention of Sugar Me on the door. So when you get your appointment confirmation email pay attention to where it tells you they're located. Then you won't have any issues. read more

Niko was great. Had a hard time finding the right suite but they were super accommodating with my schedule since I'm an outta towner. The Brazilian sugar wax was practically painless and quick. No irritation whatsoever ever! Thanks! read more

Alysha was amazing!!! I was super nervous and full of anxiety at the whole process since it was my first time getting a wax. Angelique was great, cleaned up the second growth that was coming in also. I had an unexpected visit and to respect her I was going to reschedule but she still took me in. Definitely would come to her again. The membership is worth it for $38 Brazilians per month rather than $60 each time! Thinking about sugaring instead for an $10. read more

okay, I had to wait a couple of weeks to write this because the last wax I had was actually a little traumatic for me. and I feel a little bad because i've had the best experience with my normal aesthetician I book with but this was so out of line it makes me mad just thinking about it. okay, so I had to reschedule my wax appointment like three times because first my car died and then I threw my back out and then finally on the third try I ended up with someone other than my usual (Gaby, who is amazing). and by that point I was like three weeks overgrown (I had to wait five weeks for the initial appointment because she was out of town in the fourth week), this time i was scheduled to be waxed by Cienna. so I get to the appointment like RIGHT on time, and usually when I get there gaby is ready for me even if i'm a little early. this girl? TWENTY MINUTES LATE she literally came out fifteen minutes after my appointment started with her previous client and THEN SPENT ANOTHER 5 MINUTES SELLING THE OTHER GIRL THE MEMBERSHIP and i'm just sitting there like "?????". gaby had taken a client AND GOT HER FINISHED AND CHECKED OUT by the time the Cienna was ready. i'm already pissed at this point since i'm usually DONE in fifteen minutes and i've literally spent more time waiting on this girl, there wasn't even an apology or an acknowledgment of how long the wait was either. now like I said I was THREE WEEKS overgrown and my hair is fairly thin so this should have been a breeze. it wasn't. first she started with the wrong part. Gaby always does the sides, then the bootyhole, then the front with soft wax to make sure everything comes out because the hair on the front is a little more stubborn, and then she cleans me up with a sugar wax ball. this girl STARTED with the front and I immediately want to die, especially since she used hard wax and had to keep going over it. then she starts on the side, first, she kept putting the wax on in the opposite direction of the hair growth so it was pulling as she put it on, i have NEVER had an aesthetician do that, it's always wax goes in the direction of the hair and then is pulled opposite, this actually hurt as she was applying it. then she LETS THE WAX COOL ALL THE WAY DOWN so she can't pull it off and is like "omg this stupid wax" as if the wax made her wait for it to harden beyond use! then she's like "i'm just gonna finish you off with sugar, I think you'll LOVE IT". it was super uncomfortable because she kept doing little strips whereas Gaby just slathers the whole lip and boom! one side is finished and all it needs is a little sugar clean up and everything is gone. anyway she does my bootyhole last and barely gets anything with the sugar and I was just OVER it at that point. when I went to tip her I accidentally did 5¢ instead of $5 and I felt a little bad about it until I got home and saw the worst case of ingrown and "razor" burn i've had since I started getting waxed and then I realized I shouldn't even have given her the 5¢. like I said usually I have the best experience here, but this girl should NOT be waxing the bikini area, maybe arms and legs and faces, but I actually wanted to cry when I saw the ingrowns, it hat taken me a year to stop getting them and here they were, on like the most sensitive area of my body. if you're coming here to get a brazilian or the like, don't schedule it with Cienna. (i'm still giving it 3 stars because Gaby is amazing and will give you the smoothest wax in a very decent amount of time and is actually on time for her appointments.) read more

I had a promotion to get a Brazilian and brows done. Girl rushed and only did Brazilian. Charged me for both Brazilian and brows. Said she only had room till 1:30 pm so her time was up. I'm a member and was sched for a Brazilian. I was 5min late due to confusion of sched time/traffic. I arrived at SMW, sat down, and waited for assistance. Receptionist walks back to room and returns to desk. She states we have to cancel and reschedule your appt. Another client is coming in 8min. Confused I ask am I late? Receptionist stated Appt was 245pm (arrived 250pm) and time currently 252pm. Something is not adding up Brazilian takes 25-30min. I take full responsibility for being late. However, arrived under cancellation policy timeframe. I walked out and contacted SMW disappointed in poor customer service. I have never complained when had to wait 5-10min for prior client being serviced. I contacted smw and wanted to inquire on situation. Apology given but my question was not addressed. So I asked for corporates number. Complaint forwarded to assistant manager Paige. Over a week of ineffective communication and no response. Definitely canceling membership and will research corporate info. read more
