This toy store literally has a little of everything. If you collect any kind of toy, this store might have it. They did have a decent amount of Transformers for sale. My husband likes to have his toys new in a box and the ones that are available were the ones my husband already had. There was a Soundwave that was played with and out of the box. As much as they were asking for, my husband probably could find a new one in the box if he really tried. They were asking for decent amount for a used toy. This toy store was dope. The gentleman that helped us was really nice. We ended up not finding anything that we truly wanted but that doesn't mean you won't find your gem here. Hopefully the next time we are in the area again, they might have a treasure for us to take home!

The toys are stocked high, the aisles are narrow ... and the products are old-school. If they have a speciality, it may be models: model trains, planes, and automobiles; Star Wars models and micro toys; and a lot of kits from model stalwart Revell. There also are a lot of those old-fashioned toys we got in the days before smart phones. They have old favorite board games like Stratego, Monopoly, and Battleship, and others from Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers. They've got new-favorite family games like the wildly popular mouthguard game Speak Out. They've got plenty of Matchbox- and Hot Wheels-brand cars, and a cool display case showing dozens of them. And yes, Action Figures: some Star Wars, but more of an eclectic mix with DC and Marvel Comics, Transformers, and the rest. It's also got a lot of what I call "dollar-store toys": a lot of little toys that'll hold a kid's attention for at least a little while. Hammond is a blast from the past that I highly recommend.

The merchandise was well organized. One fun feature is they sell used LEGO sets at a discount. The selection of used sets is a bit random, but we were able to find a really neat LEGO creator buggy. The staff was really friendly and helpful when we had questions. Most everything in the store is official LEGO product so everything you purchase will work with your existing LEGO sets. The store is relatively small and the location on 33rd South seems like a downgrade from their previous location near Brickyard. Parking was difficult because the lot is shared with a Papa John's and other stores. Overall, I'd recommend visiting.

The finger paints are sealed, so I couldn't waft the happy scent of kindergarten across my nose...yes, I tried. Even if you're not a teacher, this store has neat things for parents as well.
