I was really excited to go in for a balayage and saw lots of positive reviews about this place. Unfortunately, I ended up getting random blonde streaks in my hair instead of a caramel/dark brown balayage. The color was much lighter than expected, only in some sections of my hair, and looked really unnatural. My friends and family had nothing positive to say about it and it wasn't really a great look for work. I dyed the blonde highlights dark brown two days later myself. What a hair disaster!!!! Do not go! I had a consultation with Samar on how I would like my hair color changed before I actually went in for the service. I showed her pictures and she adamantly told me "no problem, I can do that for you". Below are pictures of what I actually asked for and what I actually received. It was so bad I was afraid of going back to her so I had to go to another hairdresser to help me salvage my hair and make it presentable. The cut was horrific as well. When she SAYS "I'm not going to let you see the end results until I'm finished drying it" you know you are in trouble. And when you tell her it's too dark, and she says "don't worry it will get lighter", you know you are in trouble. I paid $200 for the worst hair service EVER! AND NO REFUND FROM HER. read more

I had a Brazilian blowout, and before I chose I read the reviews to make sure I went somewhere that would do it right because my hair can be problematic. So the Brazilian came out wonderful but after 2 weeks some parts started to frizz. I'm not sure why, I'm wondering if my sulfate free shampoo is not actually sulfate free. Anyway, I called hoping that I could get help. And the owner didnt even ask, she said no problem and asked when I'd like to come in to get it fixed!!! I havent gone back in yet but I'm so relieved. This time I'm buying only Brazilian blowout specific products and using colder water to rinse my hair, incase that was the issue. So customer service, dedication is an A+! And I'm sure that this time my Brazilian will stick. :) read more

Found this place on Groupon, really like how safety conscious they were at the salon because of COVID19. They have a system and people are separated, masks on, doors wide open with good circulation. Hello Gorgeous is the best salon I have ever been to. I went there one time and was highly impressed. The owner, Summer, did my hair. She is top notch, superlative, A+. She knows what she is doing and does it with excellence and in little time. For me, I wanted a beige blonde hair color like I had naturally as a child. Nowhere else I went could take the platinum and turn it a sandy blonde/dark blonde color. Summer did though and in an hour in a half. She applied something to my roots, did low lights, and did a toner. The result was a very natural, multidimensional blonde, three shades blended into my head, so the overall effect is a sandy blonde, with some dark blonde and platinum blonde running through it. It came out gorgeous and with no damage to the hair. The color doesn't fade out. She also touched up my hair cut, but better then ever. She did the layers upward. And Summer is a very nice person, upbeat, positive. The salon is very clean, comfortable, cozy, classy style. And the prices are reasonable. In thirty years, I never found a better salon, and some of the salons I have been to were outstanding. read more

I loved my experience here and will definitely be back. My hair needed HELP. And Samar delivered. My hair is extremely long, past the middle of my back, and I've never been in and out of a salon in less than 3 hours. Thats how long it takes to color, trim, wash, dry, and style me. Samar had me done in under 2 hours, which is amazing. But she ALSO finished 2 other clients while I was there and had another one started when I was leaving. The woman is a rock star! Well I didn't receive that but what I did receive was an inch chunk of my hair on 1 side that frames my face cut way up while the other side was cut the way it should be.
