The color was much lighter than expected, only in some sections of my hair, and looked really unnatural. My friends and family had nothing positive to say about it and it wasn't really a great look for work. I dyed the blonde highlights dark brown two days later myself. Hair decisions can be a real freakout but Lynette is so calming & reassuring. She's so skilled that my "I have no idea" became the starting point for a fresh look. She magically came up with a new cut that was perfect. It wasn't insane, in fact it was basically in concept the same general style I'd always worn. But way better. Sleeker, more class! No one has come up with anything new for me in 25 years that worked. I'm into my third cut with Ms L and every one has the same extremely pleasant private feel that is its own selling point for the salon. Where can you find a high quality salon that's private & quiet? Nowhere but He Says She Says. fact, all three times Lunette has styled me I was the only one there. I think, working alone, she schedules it that way on purpose to give each client undivided attention. I certainly wouldn't have been able to handle the typical noisy hair place with my need for calm consideration to come up with something great. I simply cannot say enough about Lynette and He Says She Says. She's the best & I recommend her without question. I followed her around until she moved out of state and thats when I decided to give HD another shot. The staff is VERY friendly, not a gossipy crew at all. The client's ages range from toddlers to the elderly, which I think says a lot when you consider some have been going there for well over 20 years. My stylist listened to what I wanted and tried her best to work with my difficult hair when it came time to blow it out. I was NOT fond of her styling technique at all, but she gave me a good cut. I dont think they've convinced me to return as a loyal customer, but I would consider returning if I needed an emergency cut. Pricing is inexpensive - moderately expensive, depending on the degree of service. I had a cut, wash and blow dry and it was $60 (should have been $50 - apparently it was an additional $10 to blow out my thick hair...and it wasnt even completely dried and the style was sub-par). Parking is convenient and easy access to/from the Merrit & 91.

I had gone in after months of research and saving up and wanted multi highlights with obvious highlights showing and keeping more red undertone. The picture on left is the coloring I wanted and the one on right is what I got. Everyone who has seen my hair says it's nothing like the picture. Nor is the cut anything of quality. I could have cut my hair probably better. Again picture on left is the layers I asked for (mind you I had very long hair and a lot to work with) and the cut (in right). Abby no longer works at Le Petite so I saw Christine for my appointment. I have to say, I enjoyed Abby so much more. I also did not appreciate having to wait in the middle of my appointment for another client to be shampooed and glazed. When Christine returned my hair had pretty much air dried. Upon checkout I was shocked when I was charged $40 more than Abby. Christine told me she had been "doing this for 20 years". I was a lot happier with Abby based on her attentiveness, demeanor and skill. I'm disappointed in this experience and will not return.
