Last visit our dressing was MIA, this time we got half filled cups and no chicken at all for a salad with chicken in the title. This place makeA pretty good salad. But today I came to get soup because Panera's was closed early. My husband was not feeling well and he just wanted a bowl of tomato soup. We love Panera's but.... What a disappointing experience. Tables dirty, beverage dispensers totally empty at 4:30 in the afternoon. Dirty in front of the dispenser. Catsup dispensers almost empty and 1 staffer to make and chop salads! Worst was the fries. Soggy limp and cold. Refreshing, a NEW chain in Monroeville! I know owned by ENP Group but this place is just where to go when you're looking for a healthier option (especially after the holidays). The kids working there are very respectful and actually ask you how things are. I mean, who doesn't love it when young people these days actually TALK! I'm happy it's here. I ordered 2 super burgers and a kids meal. They forgot the drink for the kids meal. Burgers were thrown together and one had a pickle embedded on top of the bun. Stopped in spur of the moment during some errands, wasn't sure what to expect, but figured it would be pretty basic/a little bit of a let down.... very surprised at the options and flavors. I ordered a chicken Greek meal. My beverage was a sweet tea. I asked for a cup for my drink. I was provided a small cup for water. I then ask to be provided with a large cup. The cashier ask the Manager Hunter if I could be given a large cup. He stated no I would have to buy a fountain drink. I explained I already bought a drink. He still refused to provide a plastic cup. I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged an additional $1.00 for the sweet tea. I asked to be refunded and charge my order to fountain drink. The manager Hunter refunded me 80 cents not a $1. He did not know how to refund my full amount I spent on the sweet tea. So on top of bad customer service he took my 20 cent, I don't care ‍ about 20 cent it's just bad service. He was rude and provided terrible customer service. I go to lunch daily while at work. This was the first time at Hello Bistro in monroeville. Although I enjoyed my salad and would love to be a regular customer, I the lack of customer service from the Manager Hunter will ultimately lead me to choose another lunch location. I'm sure an average of $15.00 lunch meal daily is more important than a large plastic cup to pour my drink in. In addition, the manager Hunter shoes were extremely dirty. Cashier stated she just works their and is unhappy, which was clear with her interaction with the customer. When the manager Hunter came to the table with my order he accused me of walking away so he was not able to give me a refund. I'm not sure why he was stating a false story but maybe it was to explain the lack of 20 cent refund. Great food but bad customer service. read more

The restaurant was dirty. The garbage was literally overflowing. We ordered 2 salads & 2 drinks for $25!!! Our order took 20 minutes-for SALADS!!! The tortilla strips in the salad were stale. Neither of us ate more than half our salad & still ended up feeling sick for the rest of the day. Will not return. read more

I had a delicious salad. The avocado was not quite ripe, but it was still a solid meal. My husband had a burger that was just ok, and had to go back to get hot fries. Very disappointing experience when the very best thing about your meal was the creme soda that you had to drink. The $9.50 Big Fat Greek salad was composed of old chopped greens many a brown color. A microscope would have been needed to see any chicken and the pieces of black olives and croutons were few and far between. Will never waste my time or $ again. Yum. The fries, the soup, the salads! It's all delish. I love the buffalo chicken salad when I don't feel like customizing one. Quality is always good and consistent. My fiancé and I have frequented this Hello Bistro since it opened and we are never disappointed. I am a huge salad eater and I always find the lettuce/veggies fresh. We recently tried the salmon burger and wow, it was delicious! I get the Caribbean shrimp salad and it is one of my favorite dishes to eat ANYWHERE! We have had their breakfast sandwiches and French fries as well which are very tasty. Great place to get a great meal! read more

SO happy we now have a Hello Bistro close to home! Yesterday was opening day for that location. You could tell the people were new and training BUT the service was still wonderful, very friendly.
