I really needed that fan, but they didn't even call me to inform whether it would arrive or not. They just said I would receive an email when it arrives. I noticed I didn't receive any message, went back to them, and She showed no interest in ensuring that my product would arrive quickly. Now they told me to keep waiting for the product. Essentially, she has no interest to help me get the product faster no interest in assisting me to expedite the product's delivery. The communication is horrible when I read all the reviews I thought they are joking but not this is true. The communication is horrible.

As I walked out, I couldn't believe I was in Grainger. I go here to pick up the industrial supplies that are more difficult to find, mainly safety equipment. I may have to come here more often. At least this well run location ( I've been to some locations that were PIA).

When I entered the store I tripped over a guy with a hot mop and fell into a lumber pile - bad experience #2 lol. By this time I was embarassed and I quickly ducked into the ventilation aisle. I located the duct work but I went up to the counter and I was 2 dollars short! Doh!! Needless to say I wasn't able to complete the purchase so ended up across the street at Manny's where I had a terrific lunch lol

Both Jeanette and Carlos saved me a ton of time on a somewhat complicated project - really great customer service. Thank you! Mark

DO NOT ORDER BRICK SUPPLIES HERE…read more If you want customer service that cares about even the smallest order go to Illinois Brick in DesPlaines. We had nothing but trouble with their sales rep. Jeff Theis. He "helped" us order the wrong stone and then tried to turn the whole issue on us. We ended up having to return what he ordered and go to Illinois Brick. It cost us 2 weeks on our building scheduled and more money to get something in stock that matched what we needed. Even after going to the store and asking for help, all I got was the brush off. I understand when you are only spending a little over $5000 this may seem like small potatoes to this business, but to a homeowner that is alot of money. The customer service we got at Illinois Brick was the exact opposite of CMI. So very disappointing to be treated with such disregard. The sales rep was actually LAUGHING at me over this issue. Such a disgrace for a customer based business. So I guess if you are a homeowner and not a big brick installer, GO ELSEWHERE!

8-9 years ago, I got "garden soil" delivered from these guys. It could not have been better soil,…read morejust excellent stuff, filled with all kinds of organic matter. In 2023 I wanted another garden so I ordered another truckload of "garden soil". They delivered it, dumped it into the raised bed I had prepared, but I could NOT have been more disappointed!!! It smelled like gasoline and turpentine, it was chock full of all sorts of plastic bits, metal bits, wires, etc. wow, it was bad! I couldn't return it, (I mean how could I) so I added as much organic material to it as I could. So 2024, this year, even after all the leaves and grass and other organic material I've added, I'm STILL pulling out plastic of all shapes and sizes, plastic bag parts, rubber pieces, metal pieces, it's just never ending!!! If you use their soils for a lawn, I think it will be ok, but I wanted an "ORGANIC" vegetable garden, and this soil is anything but organic! If you want soil for an organic garden, go somewhere else!
