While…read moreI'm very happy with the vehicle itself, the customer service and communication during the buying process were extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was how difficult it was to reach anyone. Calls rarely got answered, and even when I asked to speak with someone at the dealership, I was often sent to voicemail again. Getting updates or basic information was unnecessarily frustrating and made the whole process feel disorganized. The purchase took much longer than it should have, and the poor communication only made it worse. If it weren't for the vehicle being priced so well through the nationwide program, I would have taken my business elsewhere. There is definitely room for improvement in responsiveness and overall customer service.

In August, I returned with concerns about a leak and warning lights. I was asked to come back because no loaner was available, and the car later left me stranded at a gas station. The dealership says it replaced the tank vent valve and completed the starter recall. I requested video confirmation of the starter replacement but did not receive it. I also received no video showing the tank vent valve concern or repair. Although I was told the car had been tested extensively, the paperwork shows a test drive of only three miles. The car sputtered immediately after I left the lot. When service manager Jessica discussed the starter recall and its potential fire risk, she laughed. I told her it was not a laughing matter to me. I also found the general manager's response condescending and dismissive. At a time when I was asking for help with serious safety concerns, I did not feel heard or supported. The only competent and compassionate person that I interacted with was Astrid, the customer service representative! My car has fewer than 45,000 miles, and these repeated problems have shaken my confidence in its safety. Even my 2015 BMW 7 Series did not have nearly this many problems. In my experience, neither BMW has been as reliable as my Honda. I want BMW of North Houston to document every concern I reported, explain what was inspected and repaired, and provide a clear written basis for saying the car is safe to drive.

This is one of several places to go if you own a BMW and do not want to pay dealership prices…read more You'll find this shop off of kind of a dilapidated road on Shepherd. There is a Mexican meat market on the corner that you can use as a cornerstone. Once you reach the gates you might be challenged to find a parking place because it is usually filled up with I guess other customers cars or inventory but do not let the outside deter you like a book and it's cover. Once you find your way inside, you most likely might encounter Tommy. He is the main guy you will want to speak to or his sidekick Roger. The waiting room is furnished with comfortable couches and chairs but I don't think there's a TV to watch but everybody and their brothers has a phone with them I'm sure. You will be offered water while you're waiting for your vehicle to either be worked on or your estimate. Tommy is a very versed and educated individual on BMW"s and would be able to tell you a lot more things that you do not know about your BMW inside and out. Yes BMW certified and used to work for a dealership for a long stint. I came to get some suspension work done and my steering wheel rack unfortunately for thankfully the potholes in Abilene Texas and also get all of my fluids changed out which amounted to a little over $9,000 but I checked with the dealership and they were coding about $14,000 and some change. So if you have a lot of money go ahead and take your car to a dealership but you're pretty much dealing with the same kind of people at a more budget friendly setting here. A super big plus is even though they only work on BMWs here I drove my Escalade up here to check on my 750 series to find out I was having low oil pressure problems with my Escalade. Tommy took the time out to diagnose and changed some sensors and even stayed way past closing time, so I have him and his technician to thank for that. Any information provided before and after you can guarantee you will be treated with dignity and respect and not in a condescending way that some dealerships will have you just because they know they've got you by the cojones once your car is in there. There is a BMW repair shop probably about a couple of miles from my residence but I will drive 15 miles here definitely for future repairs and maintenance. You know how sometimes you could speak to somebody for 15 minutes and tell their demeanor? Do you want that experience any negativity in this and you will not feel like you're about to get ripped off if you do come back from the dealership and compare how differently you'll be treated. You'll be back.

He's a BMW Master Technician who knows these cars inside and out. Roger, the manager, has also been excellent with communication, and the entire team has been great to work with. A colleague of mine originally recommended their shop after they restored his E30 M3, and I can see why. If you're looking for a BMW specialist who doesn't cut corners and follows factory repair procedures, this is the place. Tommy has worked on my 2001 BMW 330i, 2020 BMW M4, and 2023 BMW X5. I bring all three here for regular maintenance, including oil changes and brake replacements. Tommy also helped build my M4's S55 for higher performance while keeping reliability a priority. He installed a four-pin crank hub upgrade, upgraded turbocharger, and upgraded rod bearings. They've also handled major repairs for me, including a timing chain replacement, valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket. Their pricing has always been very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work, and their 4-year/unlimited-mile warranty gives me even more peace of mind. I've been coming here regularly and will definitely continue. If you own a BMW and want it maintained, repaired, or upgraded properly, I highly recommend DMW Motor Cars!
