5 Stars - Worth the Wait!…read more Dr. Jun is incredibly attentive and actually listens to his patients - which is honestly refreshing these days. There's a reason he's booked out for months (I waited nearly a year and a half for my first appointment, but it was absolutely worth it). The practical details are great too: free parking (seriously, what doctor's office has free AND available parking?), excellent location, and the building itself is clean and professional - not sketchy at all. Highly recommend if you're willing to wait for quality care!

I've been seeing…read moreher for nearly a decade--she's excellent at referring, following up and listening to her patients. Fortunately they hired a new internist Dr Jan Hua, whom is very observant and excellent as well. The APRN they've hired are excellent as well. We have had my husband seen by Neesha Shah twice in the past 2 months and we were both impressed with her care and efficiency. We have not met the other APRN but expect she's great too. Neesha saw my husband for a pre-authorization before a surgery. More recently she saw him because of an issue that we wanted to get an urgent consultation and she fit him into her schedule and helped address the issue promptly.

Dr. Fu is awesome! I love her so much. I was lucky to be placed in her care almost ten years ago…read morewhen I was diagnosed with lymphoma because I didn't have a primary care physician. She was warm, approachable, friendly, and very kind from the very beginning. I've never had a long-term relationship with any physician before so it was nice to have rapport and camaraderie with one. We found out that our kids are around the same age and have similar interests. She's really active in her kid's' school/sports activities and we've run into her sometimes (once while we were laying over in Taipei airport on our way back to Hawaii too!!) but she never makes it awkward. I also really like that I can get in touch with her via MyChart for non-urgent questions instead of having to make an appointment and hassling with parking.

She's more than just a doctor, she's caring and understanding. Never judgmental and always taking the time to make sure I'm ok physically and mentally. The staff have always been kind and considerate. Honestly, I don't usually write reviews on yelp for medical professions but I just wanted people to know that she is awesome because if you are being referred to see her, then usually you need peace of mind. Rest assured. She's awesome. Understand the stress and demands of healthcare workers and that they are multi-tasking. It's a busy office. If it wasn't, that would be more questionable. So I'm grateful.

I am a bit of a complex patient and an anxious one at the moment so I am super grateful that my Queen's physician made finding me a supportive match the priority. Dr. Miyashiro is incredibly empathetic. She was well prepared for my consultation which is sadly the exception rather than the rule nowadays. She went over my options taking my other medical issues in to consideration and respectfully listened to a couple I had heard about and shared with me pros and cons. It won't be an easy journey but I feel so much better with her as my quarterback. My wait was about 15 minutes and reception was meh, but maybe they were having a challenging day. It is a very busy office. Hope this review helps someone else considering physicians. I found information to be scarce.

Communication with your primary care physician (PCP) is key. They look after your health and…read morewell-being. I was sad when my long time PCP Dr. Christopher Marsh retired and I then bonded well with Dr. Helen Kim who took over Dr. Marsh's practice. Then, Dr. Kim left the islands as her husband's job uprooted them to the continental US and prior to her departure she recommended Dr. Sarah Sanders. Prior to seeing Dr. Sanders, I received a letter from Queen's advising Dr. Henry Cacanindin (Dr. C) would be taking over Dr. Helen Kim's practice. So I called the office, where both Dr. Sanders and Dr. C are located but the receptionist advised I was assigned to Dr. Sanders. However, after subpar interactions with Dr. Sanders, I requested a change. I was advised it's non-conventional to switch PCPs but after I explained my situation, I was assigned to Dr. C. I felt at ease when I first met Dr. C as he spoke to me as a professional in a pleasant manner. I was treated with respect and not lectured like I was with Dr. Sanders. There is a way to communicate with patients and sure don't appreciate being berated or belittled for not being able to know all the names and dosage of my current medications. Usually people don't like to see their doctors or dentists but with the professionals who I am currently working with, I look forward to seeing them, and this includes Dr. C. As I get older my body doesn't rebound as quickly compared to my younger days. Also with aging, your body changes and I'm glad I see Dr. C. regularly where my bloodwork is monitored and have taken action to combat abnormal numbers. Dr. C.'s office still employs Joanne, who I've known since Dr. Marsh days. I still reach out to her via My Chart, where she replies back to me on a timely basis and addresses my concerns, such as scheduling appointments and assisting me with prescription refills. Change can be scary but I'm a true believer that things happen for a reason. When a door closes, another door opens. I'm fortunate to have been paired with Dr. C. and very pleased he's my PCP.
