FLRV opened in the last couple years and is a great addition to the camping options around the Finger Lakes. Located about 1/3 of the way up the eastern side of Seneca Lake, the location provides easy access to the wineries, distilleries, and breweries along the lake.This is a family owned campground and the owners were very friendly and took pride in their business. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies are included at check-in.  The campground sites are very large and spread out. Being a newer campground, the trees are small, but that did not take away from the experience. Easy maneuverability, great wifi and water pressure, along with level sites make it a great place to stay. The bath house is emmaculate and rivals those at Fort Wilderness Resort. Amenities are minimal (no pool, playground, or golf carts), but they are bookended by two wineries with walking paths from the campground. Due to the minimal amenities, it is very quiet and relaxing especially in the evenings sitting around the campfire.  I look forward to returning to the Finger Lakes RV park as this is easily one of our top campgrounds when needing to relax.

The grounds are immaculate, the owners are genuinely friendly, and it's obvious they take tremendous pride in maintaining the property. Everything is spotless, the sites are level and well-appointed, and the utility hookups are thoughtfully placed and easy to use. Since our last visit two years ago, they've added a fitness center and community room, both of which are great improvements. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country and within walking distance of two wineries. It's hard to beat. So why four stars instead of five? The reservation system. When you book, you don't actually reserve a specific site, you reserve a site type. If you want to guarantee the site you've been shown or assigned, you have to pay an additional "site lock" fee. Unfortunately, I didn't realize just how much that mattered. We booked our stay in May for a July visit. For the next two months, every confirmation and piece of correspondence from the resort indicated we would be in Site 61. Naturally, we assumed that was our site. We arrived for the 2:00 p.m. check-in at 2:01, right behind another RV. To my surprise, they were given Site 61, and we were reassigned at the last second. Ordinarily, I wouldn't care. A campsite is a campsite...unless the replacement site happens to be directly beside the dog park. My wife and I are simply not dog people. We don't dislike responsible pet owners, but we prefer not to spend our vacation listening to constant barking. Instead, we were serenaded by barking throughout the day, barked at whenever we sat outside our RV, and awakened around 7:00 a.m. on most mornings by dogs in the park next door. To the owners' credit, they did offer to move us after two days when another site became available. I genuinely appreciate that. But anyone who RVs knows that once you've spent the time leveling, setting up, connecting utilities, arranging the patio, and getting settled, the last thing you want to do is tear everything down just to move across the campground. The whole experience felt a lot like flying these days: if you don't pay extra to choose your seat, you'll somehow end up in the middle seat, at the back of the plane, next to the bathroom. Technically you still got what you paid for, but not exactly the vacation experience you were expecting. Going forward, I'll gladly pay the site lock fee because now I know how the system works. But I also think the campground could do a better job making it crystal clear that the site shown in your confirmations is not actually your reserved site unless you've paid to lock it in. That would save guests from the confusion and disappointment we experienced. Despite this issue, this remains one of the nicest RV resorts we've visited, and we'll absolutely be back.

We are brand new to trailer camping and campgrounds so that may color my review somewhat but we had a great time and really enjoyed this campground. It is by no means a resort but it is perfectly serviceable for our family which includes 2 and 4 year old girls. Check in was very smooth and friendly (including the very gentle reminder that the speed limit in the park is 5 mph and that I had come in a bit too fast which was true, I was doing 30 mph pulling up to the check in gatehouse). We were on site 164 which is in the open field and right next to one of the two playgrounds. the site included a picnic table and fire ring as well as the water and electric hook ups. We didn't experience any power or water issues during our stay as some others have reported. The major drawback as far as I am concerned is that there is no sewer hook up on your site and the line for the dump station at check out was a bit long. The pool had just open so was COLD but the girls had a good time and it was clean. As the other Yelp review mentions, bring your own chairs and you'll be happy. The restaurant/bar has a beautiful deck and we did have a drink and appetizers there. The prices were very good as was the food. The server couldn't have been nicer. This campground is close to home for us providing a nice quick getaway. It's super easy to get to, right off of the thruway. The people were nice, the grounds were nice and we really enjoyed our stay. Like I said in the beginning, I wouldn't call this a resort campground, but I didn't feel like I was paying resort prices either. We will definitely be back.

There has been a change in management...unfortunately, the new management company (northgate cough…read morecough) has undeniably mislead the current seasonal residents and continues to hurt what has the potential to be a great campground. There has been a complete lack of communication with the current seasonal campers. Rates have gone up without explanation, they are unable to staff the park, except with individuals who launder money or sexually harass coworkers and yell at children for bring children. When concerns are brought to their attention, they do not have a response and lack basic customer service. They refuse to honor previous agreements to RF and will not compensate their campers what was agreed upon from the previous owners. A campground was bought, they kept their agreements, they should honor their agreements, and learn from the mistakes they made. The management of this campground continues to make changes without asking their campers for their concerns and involving them. They will ultimately drive away their customers and run back to their other managed campgrounds. SHAME. Have fun collecting the new *tiered* fine system when you cant even staff a fryer cook in the unused restaurant....cool fireworks show though.

The campground is wide open with a beautiful view of the lake. The grounds are kept immaculate and it is so quite and peaceful even though it's not very private. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked and the host was around even day checking on things. She was wonderful! We loved our stay and our campsite. Can't wait to be back!

Garbage is picked up at every site every day, great walking trails, fishing ponds and a nice pool/hot tub area. Each year we book a site in August for the weekend when they do the flashlight candy hunt for the kids. The kids absolutely love it and the staff makes sure that no child leaves without candy. Being able to hop on a shuttle or take a short drive to the casino is a plus if you're into that too! Nice restaurants and venues there for rainy days. The only thing that even borders on a negative is the price, which is higher than a lot of other campgrounds, but you really do get what you pay for, and that is especially true here. Barring some catastrophic change, we will be back many more times in the future!
