He recommended a Sony head unit based on excellent online reviews. Jeff was pleasant and helpful throughout. I also wanted a backup camera installed, and he took care of that as well, ordering all the necessary parts for my car. About a week later, I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 on a Saturday morning. I arrived at 10:10, expecting the doors to be open so I could wait inside, but they didn't open until exactly 10:30--my only minor concern. Once inside, they promptly took my car and completed the installation of the backup camera and head unit in about 2.5 hours. When I picked up my car, everything was clean, and both the backup camera and head unit worked perfectly. However, I started hearing a buzzing noise, which I initially thought was due to the new head unit. I called Jeff, and he quickly assisted me. I brought the car back in, and the technician identified that the noise was coming from my State Farm tracker, not the head unit. Once I removed the tracker, the noise disappeared. I highly recommend Audio One for any car audio needs--they provided excellent service and support.

Long story short, they've held my car in the shop for almost two years now (complete engine swap)…read more I'm extremely disgusted by their work ethic and the current state of the car. The owners were not in today so I asked the receptionist what was the reason for it being held up for so long? She said the exact same story they've been telling me all along. "OoOoOh we are losing workers and the new guys don't know what's going on with the current projects".. regardless, how is that my fault? Plus, one of the actual owners claims to be the one working on the car himself so..? I don't understand the issue. had I not stopped in today; who knows when would have been the next time they notified me. Thats also another thing. EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION, why is it that no one at this shop can keep me in the loop? Updates? Nope. Never. Estimated time of completion? LOL. never! Oh you're going on deployment? Let's put this project on pause. Now, there has been "some" progress on the car which I will give them that but come on now we are going on two years. TWO YEARS GUYS!? I guess 3 is the magic number?
