What a great little food truck tucked into a garden center. The staff was so friendly and the food upscale! They offer a weekly menu and it is limited but everything we tried was delish. Heirloom is located in Archie's, and while not difficult to find if you're not looking for it inside the garden center you could get lost :) We've eaten at Heirloom several times, both for regular meals and also their Garden Gatherings. Both experiences are wonderful. Between the charm of the garden and Chef Josh's hospitality and cooking, you're in for a great time. The food is so interesting and fresh and flavorful. Food, service and ambiance were all five stars! I had heard good things about Heirloom at Archie's but this was my first time there. I had the Tearoom Plate and it was scrumptious! Their banana bread is the best I've ever had. It was a gorgeous day to eat outside amongst all of the plants at the nursery. So fresh, so clean!!! This is the place to be!! This garden to table concept is perfectly tucked away in the back of a gorgeous plant nursery. And the food truly was phenomenal! I got a dish that had fresh tomatoes, mozzarella spread, watermelon, and pesto goodness. The chef was very friendly and helped sub out the bread for chips due to my gluten allergy. My husband got a bacon and egg sandwich on sourdough and ate it so fast he forgot he ordered anything. The menu changes out each month, so be ready for some new amazing creations when you stop by. Seriously the freshest produce & flavors I've had the pleasure of experiencing in a long time. Every bite was followed by a very sincerce "oh my GOD". That pesto is what dreams are made of, and the chicken in the chicken salad sandwich is perfectly smoky. Everybody was super friendly and I saw some familiar faces from Tokyo Cafe. The tables are set in the middle of the garden, so you can enjoy seasonal local plants and flowers while you eat. But has anyone else who's dined here been subjected to the uncomfortably awkward jokes the owner, who's convinced they're funny, makes while you're waiting on your food? I've heard him say some that, let's just say, if you are a femme-presenting or generally femme person/a woman/etc, will make you feel uneasy. Some jokes are just not appropriate for work/in a public place when femme presenting/women/femmes are present. Not professional, not inviting. Again, food's amazing here, so is the set up.
