There is a different free performer each week. We have never left empty handed. I LOVE so many regulars... from the mushroom guy, to the canning woman who makes amazing sauerkraut and pickled beets (to name a few) to several delicious bakers, wine sellers, tons of produce, meats, and a couple of food vendors to buy something to eat while you are there! It is easy to find, the sellers are so nice, and we always have no trouble parking. It's a great set up, very easy to park, a short walk to the tents, and it's well spaced. We try to go every week! There is more than what I listed.. coffee.. kombucha.. frozen meats... etc!! Just GO!!!

My only negative issue is with the food that you can purchase. First, the prices were pretty high. A medium order of french fries was 9 dollars and a burger was 5.50. Also, the food quality and taste is terrible. It makes McDonald's look like a gourmet restaurant. If you are going for a nice day out with the family. Plan to eat elsewhere.

What a different world and pace of life. This will be my weekly shopping spot for fresh produce and freshly baked bread! This was a definite "gain" when I moved to the area for sure! I was so excited to see a beautiful rock and crystal shop too. Of course I just had to buy a rainbow aura quartz sphere and a chunky cut quartz crystal too. Crystals are my new obsession! I also bought some amazing homemade Italian Bread from an Italian lady who bakes her own bread- it's incredible ! She kindly reminded me that there are no preservatives and to keep the bread refrigerated to maintain freshness- it won't be around for long. I tasted empanadas from a food stand I've been dying to try. Crispy and delicious! The meat inside was delicious and savory. I can't wait to hit that stand again next week.

Ok. Let me explain the 3 star rating. If you're a shopper…read moreyou will be pretty happy as it's always packed with vendors. Last time I was there was last summer so writing this a year later. Food selection is very good and reasonable prices. The drive to get there is beautiful, or you can use the interstate nearby. Most vendors have reasonable prices. Huge selection of options to buy stuff. Now, I tried setting up and selling as a vendor. THAT WAS A DISASTER! I actually LOST MONEY trying to sell stuff . I didn't make even $25 and I had an entire truck filled with all kinds of items. The area is extremely poor. The people who were there to shop were mostly broke. They want every thing for a dollar. Lots of " I'll be back" and "I'll think about it". That's code for "I'm broke" lol. So, if you're a shopper Theres lots to buy at good prices. If your a vendor hats not food then good luck making money. I think the only reason vendors go is because it's open on Wednesday and no other markets are so the vendors come. That entire area for miles and multiple towns are economically depressed. Definitely not economically viable. So if you have cash to downs you'll be very happy here.

Their fresh produce is consistently amazing, and it is clear they take pride in what they do. What truly sets them apart, though, and makes me feel they are a true asset to our community, is their integrity. When the price of eggs went up, they had to adjust like any business would. But what really impressed me is that when the price went back down, they lowered their prices too. Not many businesses would do that, and it speaks volumes about their values and commitment to doing right by their customers. Gould's is more than just a place to buy produce--it is a reflection of what a community-minded business should be. - Samantha Gatto

There is a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins or they have a nice selection already brought in from the field. There is a small store with homemade jarred goods (jams, apple/pumpkin butters, pickles, honey, salsa, etc) and plenty of fresh produce. They also had cooking suggestions for the produce. While the selection is small, the produce is fresh. Everyone was really friendly. It was a nice place to go and get a pumpkin-patch type experience last minute. It is not too big and not something you can make a day of, but it is a much better experience than just going to Walmart to get a pumpkin to carve. They also have a small corn maze here, it is short and quick and not too hard.
