And it has that and more. I am not sure if they have anything else for pick your own other than strawberries but I think the amount of strawberries they do have is good enough to last quite a while and give enough for all who want to come and pick. The experience is amazing for the kids since they get to see the berries grown and the variety is aromatic enough and tasty enough for all things including eating. I am not sure if I will be able to make it out there one more time this year but I will definitely come back next year.

They have a big outdoor space where you can walk around and do many activities. The corn maze was fun for all us. What I liked the most was petting the animals. My little one has never been close to a goat and at Maylath's he was able to feed one. I would definitely go back next year. It's clear how much she and her husband, Ben love and care for every single animal there. The hands-on experience was the highlight for me. I loved getting to feed the gentle horses, alpacas, pigs, goats, donkeys, turkeys, peacocks, sheep and more. The personal interaction with the animals was amazing. The animals seemed happy, healthy, and very used to human interaction, which speaks volumes about the ranch's welfare standards. Not only did I get to help with the animal chores, Kathryn is also very environmentally conscious as we composted, recycled or re-purposed everything at the ranch. It was a joy helping and I highly recommend making an appointment for an experience. It is also a great place to volunteer if you love animals, Kathryn is a remarkable woman. Kathryn not only loves the animals, she is knowledgeable and kind. I learned so much about the different rescue animals and the conservation efforts the ranch supports. The entire property is beautiful with spectacular views. If you're an animal lover or looking for a unique, educational day trip with the family, I cannot recommend Gress Mountain Ranch enough. They do all the things which make the concept of an open house work: * Demonstrations of their equipment * A full explanation as to what they grow, how they grow it and where/who they sell to * The ability to buy their products plus a free half dozen eggs just for showing up * Lots of parking * A great staff that goes out their way to help you even when it's crazy busy On the open house weekend Heidel offers the chance to see their computerized hale bale system do its thing, a small hay maze, for a fee you can make your own scarecrow, a decent sized food court & bake sale and a bunch of things for sale including pumpkins-mums-eggs-local honey and a whole lot more. Pricing is excellent. A two and a half dozen egg flat for three bucks and a two pound jar of local honey for ten bucks. You can't beat that. From their website: "The fourth and fifth generations of the Fink family invite you to their farm in Heidelberg Township. Energy to run the farm is from the 200kw solar array. Farm products grown here could end up on your dinner table or be loaded on ocean vessels to feed horses and cows. We even found sympathy cards either a piece of artwork on them. Their prices are reasonable . We have shopped for flowers, vegetables & insect eggs such as praying mantis & soil. We will return in spring and purchase more plants . They are so healthy & thrive in our garden. My friend was thrilled to have the gift card & loves gardening ‍.
