There is a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins or they have a nice selection already brought in from the field. There is a small store with homemade jarred goods (jams, apple/pumpkin butters, pickles, honey, salsa, etc) and plenty of fresh produce. They also had cooking suggestions for the produce. While the selection is small, the produce is fresh. Everyone was really friendly. It was a nice place to go and get a pumpkin-patch type experience last minute. It is not too big and not something you can make a day of, but it is a much better experience than just going to Walmart to get a pumpkin to carve. They also have a small corn maze here, it is short and quick and not too hard.

Fresh garland wreaths, roping, Christmas accessories and railroad gifts are also for sale in the barn, "Christmas Junction". Dave and Lynn Beck are good family friends so even though there are 3 or 4 other tree farms close by, we always go to Beck's. It is a tradition to go after church on a Sunday afternoon and pick our tree. Um, most people drive home with their tree tied to the roof of their car. My family is NOT like most people. Dad feels it's much easier to uh, drive our John Deere tractor/wagon here and load it up in the wagon so we can forgo the hassle of tying it to our car. It's been a little different since my brother and I left the nest as the tree is usually up when we get home from Penn State or DC, respectively. When I moved to DC and bought a fresh tree 2 years ago, I was astounded by the $50 price tag. A 4-5 foot tree for $50!? Not the case at Beck's. I believe the price is between $40-45 for a 6 or 7 foot tree which is amazing. Beck's also has a huge pile of garland behind the barn that patrons are free to take as much as they want. Mom usually takes a few pieces to assemble mini trees that she puts on our front porch as decorations. Go to Beck's for your Christmas trees. It's worth it. My favorite part is all the cool photo opportunities that they have. It's a great pumpkin patch if your looking for something closer to Lehighton and where you won't have to walk around for a long time. They have a small play area for kids. There is also a small corn maze. They also have free hay rides to the corn maze. It is only open on the weekends during the fall. Compared to going to Giant or Walmart to buy a pumpkin to carve this is much better and a better fall experience for kids.

We love it here! We accidentally went to another Beck Tree Farm and rerouted ourselves to this one…read more We have now been two years in a row. We went the weekend after Thanksgiving, but opted to wait for the Sunday and Monday when there were less people. The staff are so friendly and ask what you are looking for so they can explain each tree and recommend one based on height and other criteria. They provide a saw and a cart to bring the tree back and shaking and baling the tree is included in the price. There are plenty of options. We got a 7ft Canaan last year and an 8ft Fraser and 6ft Canaan this year. Free hot chocolate, wreaths, tree bags, and their annual ornament for sale are the icing on the cake. Though I miss the adventures of the Christmas Tree Farm in Chicago, this one is pretty nice. We will be back next year.
