It is a longstanding company since 1923, and this is its original location. They make small-batch recipes without preservatives. I got mostly milk chocolate with nuts, and some creams. I didn't enjoy the creams as much, but the chocolate was very tasty. Kind of reminded me of See's Candy, very nostalgic. The service was excellent. They were about to close, but they let me in and greeted me with friendly smiles. They also carry milk chocolate turtlelettes, roasted sesame sticks, flavored popcorn, old classic candy, and jellybeans. They have another location called Heggy's Nut Shop, which offers chocolate, burgers, and fries. Happy eating! Yelp Review #47- 2026

Always a flashback down memory lane! This location on Cleveland Ave is candy and nuts only. The…read morespacious parking lot is just south of the building on Cleveland Avenue. When entering the candy shop, you may be given a bag or metal bin to choose candy. The candy is primarily sold and weighed by the pound. You are able to pick and mix the candy in your bin whether you like dark chocolate, milk chocolate, caramels, maples, chocolate with pretzels etc. If you have friends and loved ones out of town, Heggys does have the option to have your chocolates mailed from their location across the country. A great idea for any occasion. People love their Heggys Chocolate and nuts Candy by the pound is around $15.50. There is also a nut counter with mixed nuts, pecans, hazelnuts, cashews and more. Behind the counter, workers work diligently individually wrapping various chocolates and caramels with each day being different candies for the week wrapped. A few of my personal favorites: milk chocolate marshmallows and the milk chocolate maple cremes. During Easter time, there will be an assortment of solid milk chocolate bunnies and crosses. However, don't wait until the last minute or else your favorite size may be gone.

Whoever is the sale associate that is in there a lot (at least the same one Ive seen over and over) is so unkind. The place is pretty dead. She isn't patient, she snaps back at any question, my mom pointed to something and asked a question and she yelled at her. You never know what someone is going through, but this hasn't been just one visit. Honestly she has almost become something we've laughed about when stopping because it's almost like she must be paid to be this miserable all the time. We won't be back except for the random clearance events. The place has definitely gone downhill in the past few years, less and less offered. The store space is smaller. The chocolates don't even taste the same (or maybe the experience makes it taste miserable, ahahah) I don't see it lasting more than another year or two max. We've found another place to go to get our chocolates that is much better and a way better experience.

I rarely visit any of the Malley's stores on a regular basis because none were nearby... Maybe that is why I craved my favorite Billybobs so much. Fast forward many years, I visited this store to get my usual Billybobs, chocolate almond bar, and chocolate bar with pretzels. Not sure if my tastebuds have changed, or their chocolate recipe has changed, but I was not crazy about the chocolate. Plus, the pretzel chocolate bar, the pretzel was a tad too salty Compared to some of the other chocolate brands that I have been eating lately (one is chocolate bar from Aldi), these other chocolates are 100% better tasting than Malley's. These other chocolates are creamier, taste more expensive, and for less price than Malley's. I have to say, I will no longer crave Malley's chocolate, especially since I can get other brands that taste better and not so expensive. Also I noticed that Malley's chocolate bars are smaller than I remember.. The positives: excellent customer service, and the store is always bright, clean and inviting!
