It sucks giving places 1 star but when you're treated like your lesser. It's not cool. Me and my family were car shopping for our first car. My wife, 2 boys and I went to go look at what was available and what we would qualify for. Mind you I have a great job and make good money for a person my age. We met a nice salesman there who showed us a couple cars that were nice. Took us to sit down. Offered us water an extra comfortable chair for my fiancé. Made small talk at the table with the gentleman. But a much older couple comes back from a test drive and he goes to park the car. Comes back and says I'll be back in 10 mins. About 25 mins later there was still no sign of this guy. So we just thought he was busy so gave him another 10 mins to come back and still nothing. So me and my family just got up and left. Idk why this happened to us. I don't remember his name because he was a jerk. By the way, me and my family ended up finding the perfect car at a great price at Clawson Honda just 2 days later. read more

I bought my 2018 Silverado z71 in August of 2018. I decided to put wheels and tires (not cheap) on at about 2400miles (October '18) and had the alignment done at a local shop. The truck purchase came with 2 free LOF/tire rotation/multi point inspection. I had those done at the dealer recommended 7500mile intervals (Feb, June, Oct. all in '19), they also said that this couldn't be honored at other dealerships and I had to take it to them for the free service because that's where I bought it. I took it to the dealer for those and one additional $69.99 service. Each time the counter staff was friendly. All 3 work orders show the tire rotation as being completed as part of the work order. Took my truck into the tire shop that I bought them from and they said the dealer never rotated them! Not once in 22k miles or the 3 times I had it serviced there. The tire shop said if they had, the wear wouldn't look like this(see pics). Due to that I void the BFG warranty and the one I PURCHASED for the tires at the shop!!! Now I get to buy 4 new tires... If you take your vehicles here then buyer beware!!! They are the friendliest crooks in the Central Valley. They don't do all the work you pay them for, and for them to skip out on preventative maintenance that becomes a safety hazard and an out of pocket cost (cough, sales opportunity, cough) is absurd! For all I know the truck has the first oil filter it came with on it... I mean, that's a harder part to get to than the wheels right???? Don't go here unless you have deep pockets because they will either break your vehicle or just take your money and not do the work. I am now staring down replacing 4 tires after 1 year and 22k miles on them when they should have went 35k at least (tire shop assessment of rear tires full tread and being properly rotated)... they are rated the lowest service center in the valley and that is per GM. On A sidenote, Vince is a great service writer. It's so unfortunate that the people doing the work tarnish his and the dealerships name and reputation. Thanks Hedricks! read more

Sold my truck and bought a used vehicle from them. Purchased "as is" which was risky however I asked all the questions that were of concern and I trusted that they would tell the truth. The carfax report said that the vehicle had not been an accident. Its been one year since I purchased the vehicle and it was time for something else. I went to resell it. Even though the carfax report did not have an accident report it HAD been in an accident. I went back to Hedricks to call them out on this. The offer for the car a year later with about 6k added mileage was 10K in depreciation...(that's absurd). They offered me $500 more above the offer I received from a company that stated it was in an accident. Hendricks refused to admit that they knew it was in an accident. Just because it wasn't on the carfax report it "wasn't in an accident". This is a dangerous precedent. They sold a car that was in an accident but they claim ignorance because it's not on the report. Either their mechanics who chacked the car are crackpots or they are lying. Dangerous practice and shady deals here. I wouldn't trust this group of shysters. They've been in business for 75 years...there's a reason car salesmen have negative stereotypes. The lesson here is...never buy a used vehicle trusting carfax only and the sales team will LIE to your face if they know it can't be traced back to them. read more

Worst experience ever! Bought a truck from them and didn't receive it until 12 days later after signing contract. There were some things that needed to be fixed but they said they would have it ready in 3 days. Yet they took my trade in and my down payment the day we signed. After complaining they returned my original vehicle until the truck we bought was ready. When we got the truck it had dust from the work that was done on it. It wasn't even detailed or anything. At that point I was over the situation. Ive been to different Chevrolet dealers including Harbor Chevrolet and Blackstone Chevrolet. Really odd experience. Went in this past Sunday 3/7/20 about 5 pm with my wife to shop a Bolt EV. Gave saleswoman my number/email after telling them what model and color I was looking for and discussed current offers. She said she needed to talk to someone and pointed to the back and would call me. They never responded. I had even registered the week before through their website also with no response. It's why I physically went in. I knew one of the family members when I was a kid and figured I'd bring my business there. I ended up getting one from another dealer. They either aren't interested in selling cars or something about my appearance made them not want to sell to me. Very strange and odd not to want my business. read more

I called the dealership for a transmission flush quote with all my car information. I was quoted $225. I drove there right away, which took 30 min. I then received a new quote of $295. And I let them know I was just quoted by him or the other male working there for 225. He said "oh he probably didn't know what car you were talking about, but since i don't know who gave you that quote I can't help you". He then said they don't carry my 2014 Chevy transmission fluid at this Chevy dealer. That's a classic scam technique I was expecting this at a shady shop, but not at a major dealership. Purchased a used car here in June 2020. Had tire, battery and electrical issues during the first 12 months. They did me a favor and replaced the battery. I brought it for service in May and they told me it was a bad remote and would order a new one. Never received it. 18 months after they replaced the battery it's dead and they are charging me almost $400!!! They told me the battery has no warranty because they paid for it. Makes no sense. Now I have a 4 year warranty and out almost $400. No one cares. Go elsewhere. read more

I had been looking for a Colorado for a week now and I found one here that I liked. Their ad on carfax.com stated the price was $32,100. When I came here to look at it I asked the sales guy what the price was hoping it had been lowered. He said the price is $33,000. i told him carfax said it was $32,100. He said well we have added a lowjack system to it and that is $900 so that's why the price is now $33,000. Why didn't they say that on their ad? He also told me that they had lowered all their prices by $3,000 that weekend. I said have you done that yet? He said yes, the price was $36,000. I looked on carfax and checked on the price history. IIt showed that the last time the price was lowered on the vehicle was on 1/25 and it went down by $237. These folks sure do play with numbers and you can't believe what they tell you. read more

I used to think Hendricks being family owned would treat their customers better. I had an appointment today and showed up at 8 am. I have a 2020 Silverado and the touch screen can be non-responsive at times so diagnosing this shouldn't take long. I get a call from the service advisor telling me they couldn't get to it at 3PM!?!?! He then told me we can make another appointment and they could get to it then. I work during the week so it's tough to bring it in. He said they wouldn't give me a loaner because I didn't buy it from them and GM won't reimburse them. I couldn't believe how terrible the service was!! You do know once my warranty is up I would take it in to get it serviced by you and PAY the fees when the time comes but now I'll just drive the extra mile to Michaels. You lose business when you look at the money right away and not treating the customer well. SAD!! read more

My husband and I had an appointment to take his truck in to get updated since his radio keeps going out. We had an appointment for 8AM. We got a phone call later that day at 3PM saying that they did not get to the truck. Although the issue with the radio was under warranty... we know the run around because we did not purchase our truck there. Honestly, this is a bunch of bullshit for someone that actually had an appointment. Terrible customer service, terrible management and ownership. My 2018 Chevy Volt has a check engine light about two months ago. I brought it into the shop and they said it needed a high pressure tubing part, they would order and I would need to bring it back. Maybe it was okay to drive. Got a call after I called them three weeks later, I brought it back in and my less than three year old car has remained there again waiting for the part. I keep calling once a week to see when it will be done and get a nice call back to try again later Well I got my car back today three months after it was brought it in. I was referred to GM customer service spoke three times the last time was yesterday and their response was it doesn't fit the California lemon. Law cuz you didn't bring it in multiple times and so good luck let us know if it gets fixed. Was told they would service it while it was there. Didn't happen. They did wash it All in all a horrible experience this is the third time GM has not followed through. Shame on me. Never again read more

The day is coming and I was ready to go electric. It was time to test drive a Bolt. I was first marginally greeted by a gruff salesman. He was instantly negative toward the cute red Bolt in the middle of the showroom floor. He said if I had questions about a truck or Corvette he could answer my questions but not for that electric car. Eventually an older man had something positive to say and I asked to further this experience. A young salesmen came out and I asked to go for a drive and try to find a place to charge the car during the drive and then even plug it in at the dealership. In a matter of moments, suddenly all the sales people were busy working deals and not available for a test drive. "We are all busy working deals". I saw one couple working on a purchase at a table. I was the only other customer on the floor. The guy that initially greeted me, maintained his zero give a shit position as he leaned against a wall not doing a single thing. In fact I watched him turn a 70 year old man away that had some questions about a possible purchase. "No we don't have anymore he said. Not Chevrolet would like your business and can I look for it at another dealer and help you. Wow, this dealer is not helping California go greener or have just about zero drive to sell a great car. I want to thank Vince and the mechanics in the Hedrick's Chevrolet service department for squeezing me in last week. My 2018 Silverado battery went dead, typical... just after the warranty ended, and I was in a jam. Normally I would replace the battery myself, but the Silverado has a cross member over the top and fuse junction mounted to the battery. I looked at the YouTube video to see what to do, In short, the skills required were above my pay grade. I called Hedrick's on Wed afternoon and Vince, a service underwriter there said they were very busy this week, so I pleaded a little, and he said to come in first thing Thurs morning and they would try to work me in and get it done while I wait. So I did, everything went smoothly and within an hour I was back on the road. They gave me a fair price on the battery, a little over $200, which was about the average I found, and a flat $60 install rate, which was a good price. I'll start off by saying I have bought 2 vehicles from Hedricks, no problems. Recently I have been looking for a new truck. I decided that I needed to get my 2014 Silverado serviced before I got rid of it. 2 phone calls and messages left to the service department and no call back. I built a truck online with what I was looking for and emailed one of the managers I have spoken to in the past, no response back. I then built the same truck online and filled out the form to be contacted. I was contacted by the online sales person who set up an appointment for me, which ended up being the manager I have spoken to. Day of appointment I arrived and asked for the manager. I was told he would have a salesperson deal with me anyways and I think I ended up with the new guy. I wanted to look at colors in case I had to build a truck and had to wait 2 months for it to come in. He acted like he didn't want to show me anything. After not much of help, I went to service department and made an appointment for my truck since I could not get a call back to schedule. Day of appointment I dropped off my truck. When I picked it up, I spoke to another sales person and told him exactly what I was looking for. He told me he could try and find it prior to having to order the truck. So I built the truck and emailed it to him so he could try and find it. As of today, no response back. I was an easy sale. Instead I went and bought a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. They were fast to help me and no problems. Hedricks had an easy sale with me but I really don't think they want the business right now, with selling trucks or service. My father in law wanted a new truck towards the end of 2020 and no help either. My wife will be looking for a new car in September and we were looking at the Treverse. I won't be going back to Hedricks unless things really change. As of now, Michael's it will be. read more

They will sell you a 50 thousand dollar truck on the spot, but if there's an issue with it, they talk to you with a passive aggressive attitude and make you wait 3 weeks. I won't ever go there again. I just recently brought my truck into this dealership for the fisrt time on 2/7/19 to get some minor things fixed and adjusted since it was brand new when I bought it. They had provided me an Uber to and from work which is really convenient and nice.I had my front bumper realigned as it had some sag to it, tires rotated, rear suspension noise over bumps, and cold start noise. All in all it took about 6 hours for the dealership to diagnose and tell me that they could not duplicate the rear suspension noise and cold start noise. I will have to record the noises the truck makes and present the service department with the video. Upon picking up my truck, I did a brief walk around and I noticed that the front passenger side fender was dented in and scratched down to the metal. I immediately notified the service adviser of the issue and Mike Gutierrez stated that it was not there on his initial walk around when I dropped it off. Mike and Carol walked around the vehicle and said that they have no choice to take care of the damage done to my vehicle and that their collision center will complete this for me with factory paint. Great customer service from MIKE GUTIERREZ but the jury is still out on the body shop and I will wait and see how it turns out before I give an updated review. P.S. I know who damaged my truck. It was a really obvious reaction when the guy who rotated my tires looks specifically at the damaged fender without knowing why I am back. read more

Came in for a scheduled appointment to fix airbag recall and check engine light. Friendly service but told us it would cost $130 to check the codes for the check engine light. Probably a big picture chevy problem but with a $65,000 Silverado 2500 that has 40,000 miles, you would think they could take 5 minutes to check the codes for free. My problem with the service department is that when I scheduled the appointment, they said nothing about the charge. Furthermore, they are already plugged in to update the computer for the recall and I'm sure it would only take about 30 seconds to pull the codes. They gave the lady in front of me free wiper blades, guess that's cheaper than pulling codes. The only way to avoid the charge is if you pay it and if it turns out the problem is covered by warranty, it will be reimbursed, or to just drive it until it breaks down and let the warranty pay for that. Be careful and make sure you ask what they are going to charge you for before driving all the way to the dealership. read more
