This was a self proclaimed expert who had been working many years doing this work. In a second visit he spent 5 hours installing correcting his previous errors. I have two questions that should prevent you from ever using this company. 1. When I approved the purchase, he took my fireplace measurements. Yet I was charged an extra $500 because he came unprepared to do my job on his first visit. 2. A heating guy who is a friend said I got taken. He said the fireplace repair was usually a $300-$400. He said to replace a gas fireplace was about $1,500 at most. So in his estimation yes, I was taken. I will be contacting the BBB.

Whadd'ya know?…read more Omar cleaned my 152 year old wood burning chimneys twice in addition to being contracted to install a stainless steel liner (something I was VERY reluctant to do). The liner took 3-4 days, cost just under $5k but gives my old old chimney a whole new life. They clean in the fall and do repairs in the spring. They put up a zip wall around the fireplace, covered all the furniture, wore shoe covers and a mask when in the house, and cleaned up everything. The liner itself is so tiny compared to the old chimney width but I think that's how it supposed to be. It just looks so funny now. I have peace of mind that I won't have to deal with a chimney fire, however, so that's worth something.

I always received an email to schedule, but I didn't always notice that it was from them because there was no business name displayed. After some time, I called to get the service scheduled again. I took the day off work so I could be here on the scheduled day, and they showed up in the window that was promised. Their service vehicle was a mess on the outside, with paint peeling all over the front etc. It's just something worth mentioning because it makes them look a little less professional. I went over the grounds to describe the issues that I am having. I really needed to get things taken care of and was happy that they were here to perform the spraying. They were here for about 30 min. or less before I was told that they would have to come back some other time since their sprayer was not working. That was disappointing since I needed service sooner rather than later. Great, now I have to get back on a schedule and back in line and wait. I have no idea what was treated before the sprayer broke, or if anything was treated at all. This kind of information would have been nice. I received a VM from the office to reschedule - No apologies for the inconvenience of my taking off work for this appointment or anything. Just a "call us back to reschedule" type of thing. The last thing I need is to take off work again with the potential of the job not being able to be completed. I am going to go with another local provider and hope for the best.
