Brewed coffee with chocolate mixed in is not a mocha. Anytime you have to decline sweetener in your mocha, it's not a mocha. But I digress... Village Bean is one of the social hubs in Windham. On Saturday mornings, it's buzzing with activity. You can see town leaders, movers and shakers enjoying a cup of finely brewed joe or the aforementioned espresso drinks. It's got a lot of merchandise on display as well. I've purchased a few things from their varied and pretty large selection of home decor products, and take home coffee, tea and chai mixes. They have a small selection of breakfast sandwiches and pastries that are pretty good as well. And they just added soft serve ice cream in a variety of favors. Yum! Perfect for an afternoon cool down. All in all, if you're looking for good coffee or espresso, Village Bean is a solid choice!

First time coming here. The inside of the place was definitely nice, offering napkins, salt,…read morepepper, and different types of sugar at a small table near where you order. Menu was big- definitely a lot of coffees and lattes to browse through. I ordered the large Cereal Milk latte and the Big Commute Burrito. I wasn't a fan of sausage, so asked if I could replace it with bacon for no additional charge, and the server allowed it (also got no KCK ketchup). Always nice when they allow you to customize your orders or throw in substitutions for no additional charge! The big commute burrito came with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, cheddar blend, hash browns, and KCK ketchup normally on a wheat wrap. It definitely filled me up - not a bad deal at $13. Was a well-packed burrito that tasted great. I also liked that it came in a wheat wrap, which tasted great and potentially offers some added nutritional benefits over a typical white-flour tortilla. The cereal milk latte, which was described as having espresso, cereal milk, and brown sugar...I thought it could've been better tbh. Didn't get much of a cereal milk experience from it (but I appreciate their attempt). $7.35 for a 20oz drink is a bit expensive as well imo. Might try the Bananas Foster Iced Coffee if I were to go here again.

I've been to Santarpios, Regina's, you name it in Boston....this place is the CROWN JEWEL. The pastries were phenomenal as expected, let's just get that outta the way first. The cannoli, the lobster tail, the shortbread cookie...phenomenal. I was told they were all made at their "other location" daily. The calzone was just OK. A little under seasoned, a little bready. A nice crisp outside though. Next time id skip the calzone and get three more slices of extra cheese. But the PIZZA. Idk what the "magic" here is but it's knock out. Super thin, very CRISPY crust with a little crunchy rolled edge. A piece of provolone on top to finish it. The smoky provolone is KILLER. But BOYS...the SAUCE... oh my god... it's a littttttttle on the sweet side...but it's a 10. This sauce stands alone. It's the Everest, the Ali, it's the BRADY of pizza sauce. I can TASTE the delicious tomatoes. They are so bright and so delicious. This is the pizza I've been searching high and low for for over 4 years. Granted I've never been to Chicago, and I haven't been to NY since starting my quest...but this pizza is by FAR the best I've had. It's probably made from 5 total ingredients, but I'd bet my entire Yelp career on it. Also it wouldn't surprise me if some people don't see what I'm getting at here. "It's plain" or "uninspiring". YEAH it SURE IS. The picture looks like my kid made it with a piece of toast and an EZ Bake Oven....But that's what makes it incredible. It's not all dressed up, it's not $6 for a slice. It's dough, sauce, cheese. Perfection. It's perfect.

While waiting, I browsed for one of their stuffed breads, but they didn't have any out at the moment. A staff member let me know fresh ones would be ready in about 15 minutes and kindly asked if I wanted to wait. I wasn't in a rush, so I waited in their cozy little seating area.
