Massages were awesome. Plenty of pressure (I like a lot). Lots of checking in too so it's always nice to feel comfortable asking for more or less pressure or to work on a knot a little longer. I used to get a lot of massages but haven't due to Covid. The backyard massage was amazing. Hope to do it again soon!! Thanks Isabella!!

If you have other ideas then this is not the lady for you. Way too classy. So don't bother.

Kathryn is ABLE!! She brings music, a table, blankets, and bolsters for under knee or under the neck. She is really incredible and strong. I needed a very deep tissue massage because of the tension and spasms in my back. Kathryn was able to reach into all of the spasms and or knots in my upper and mid-back. She was able to release all the tension and pain that was there. I was completely relaxed and much more flexible after she was done. Most people choose to have massages just to relax. I needed and received a massage that was good for my health because of her ability to get my blood flowing. Particularly in my legs and feet that are generally very cold. I had one of the best massages of my life. It is very clear that Kathryn is very well trained, extremely professional, highly competent and an honest and fair and fun person. My massage was 90 minutes long and well worth what I paid. Run don't walk for an appointment! You will be thrilled with the results!

The ladies were incredibly nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the space itself is clean and charming. They did a full body massage for both of us. I mentioned my lower back had been tense, and I walked out feeling so much better. My wife has been dealing with an ongoing migraine, and she left feeling like the pressure had finally been alleviated. Pricing was fair, and it's super easy to get to from Mission Valley with plenty of parking. We were able to book same day, which was a huge plus. They're open later than a lot of spas in the area too, so it's great whether you need a weekend appointment or something after work during the week. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend! I had an excruciating neck strain that was bringing me to the verge of tears every day for 2 weeks that just kept getting worse despite my best efforts. I had seen my doctor and been given some meds and a PT referral but I needed relief immediately. Nicole came in and spent an hour really working every single bit of my neck and shoulders. She really understood how to release ALL the surrounding muscles and areas connected to the strain in order to get my entire upper body to relax. (Which, at this point, everything was twisted and pulled up tight due to the injury). I also really appreciated how detailed she was about after care and what I can do going forward. All the factors that lead in to a neck strain and not only what I should do in the next few days to ease things but also what small changes I can make so it doesn't reoccur. She offered a lot more than just "do stretches and ice/heat"; she fully explained the "why" and gave me really fantastic options. This is a much higher level massage than a simple relaxation one; she will help your body heal! (Absolutely nothing wrong with a relaxing massage - all self care is necessary and wonderful! But if you need an extra level of care come to Nicole).

She does not just go through a standard massage routine like if you went and paid $60 at a spa, she customizes each massage to your needs and health. I have had back problems for years from a bad snowboarding accident that left me with a stress fracture in my L4 vertebrae. As part of my recovery, I started seeing Tara. She focused on not just the muscles in my back that were hurt, but the muscles and alignment surrounding the injury. She pays close attention to the body as a whole and how it works together to heal itself. Because of that- I recommend Tara whether you are just looking to relax and lose some tension, or you have an injury that needs some work. With Tara, you are buying much more than a standard, "run of the mill" massage.
