Owner finally txts me back and scheduled an appointment 3 weeks out telling me she will let me know if there were any cancellations. Nothing for 3 weeks. The day before my appointment I received a txt confirming my appointment for the following day. All good. A few hours before my appointment I get a random txt from the owner that was super cryptic and cancelled my appointment last min. Telling me she will reschedule but would not answer my call or call me back! Extremely unprofessional and difficult to work with. She informed me that they are closed but when I went to the location, it was open and I can hear people in the inside rooms yet she refuse to answer the door! Long story short, she double booked and when I showed up she was extremely rude and condescending to me when I tried to show her my confirmation email. She was very snotty about being busy with a client...the client that she had taken instead of me by mistake! She was not interested in listening to me explain it was MY appt and why is she doing a massage now?! As a retired Massage Therapist myself, and 60 years old, with quite a bit of Service Industry experience under my belt...I was appalled at how she spoke to me. I might be overly friendly, coming from Michigan, but when someone says "Are you listening to me?" As I am trying to show her my text from her and my email confirming my appt...well...she's just a fake. She is arrogant. I have a very heightened ability to sense bad energy...and she gave me super negative energy from the moment she walked through the door. No smile, no "I'm so sorry!"...just a very dark and angry energy. She did call me after she was done and admitted that that appt was not supposed to be there, but she was not sincerely apologetic at all. First impressions are important. "When someone shows you who they really are, believe them the first time!" So I told her I would not be rescheduling a relaxation therapy with someone that would be so rude and condescending, and repeated to her what she said to me. She again was very arrogant and said "Ok that sounds good! Have a nice day!" and hung up. Yep. Not good. I went to Monica for a sports massage which is different than a day spa massage. I requested deep tissue to really hit the trouble spots. Monica used her knowledge of the body to really work loose the issues I have from cycling and weight training. She uses movements to hit muscles that most people miss. Monica has everything of the best massage therapists: strong enough to untie the worst knots one can have, yet gentle and delicate -so we can still relax at the same time! The facility/room is professional and welcoming. I initially purchased this massage off of Groupon and boy am I glad I did! This is one of the best massages I've ever had! Her location is fairly central and parking is easy as well. She asked me a few questions about what I like, pressure, problem areas, etc. I personally enjoy deep massages (I know some people like more relaxing massages) but she was able to work out some tough knots that had been building up for awhile. BAD !!! the business did not call us back few days after the first phone with a left voicemail. Monica aka the Body Busic business didnt apologized or told us why she didnt call us back. I scheduled an appointment for my husband and it was made by Monica. She said she will sent a text to remind us about the appointment the day before but never did. The day of the appointment, he showed up 10 mins before to an office with no one there or no one answering the door. He called the # of business and had no answer. I also called and had to leave a voice mail again. My husband waited for about 10 mins after the appointment time and left . This company is very unofficial and very unprofessionally.
