Because of this most recent experience I am not sure if I will be coming back. They do offer couples massages as well. I recommend making an appointment in advance especially for peak times like weekends and Friday nights, since they can fill up.

Roth BodyWorks Three months ago, I began a deep tissue, bi-monthly regimen with Courtney Roth to correct a number of lower and upper back problems that included skeletal alignment, nerve impingements and muscular knotting. A one-time college athlete, I've since continued a very intense, 2-hour a day workout routine, 6-days a week. College-era sports injuries, along with years of damage to muscles, tendons and ligaments from a daily and exhaustive weightlifting workout had collectively created a bevy of problems. Muscular and joint pain was unrelenting. I had several nerve impingements. I was struggling with contracted trapezius, rhomboids and lavator scapulae. My posture was suffering and my strength, endurance and overall athletic performance was at a standstill, and even declining. Other than prescription drugs, neither my medical doctor or chiropractor had any remedies in their otherwise bottomless bag of tricks No stranger to massage therapy, I had been seeing a handful of different therapist over the past 20-years. At best, I had mixed results. I was introduced to Courtney Roth and began a schedule of bi-monthly massages. She works exclusively on my back, shoulders, neck and pecs. Her therapeutic massage technique is very painful. Our joke is that my Happy Ending to her massage therapy is that I get to leave. Courtney's technique isn't for the faint at heart or Milquetoast wimps. But she delivers incredible results. The trade off proves true the "no-pain, no-gain" cliché. Courtney is highly skilled and EXTREMEY STRONG! In three-months, the results that she alone has achieved are mindboggling. She's transformed my upper body, it's loose and flexible. Alignment of my posture has improved, dramatically. I stand more erect. My daily work outs have improved, markedly. Once at a standstill, I'm now growing far stronger. Beside re-gaining strength, my endurance and overall athletic performance is also moving forward, again. Courtney Roth achieved a transformation, in a relatively short amount of time, that had eluded other therapists for years. Because of that, I'm a loyal and enthused fan. And let me reiterate: It was not pleasant therapy. Then again: No-pain. No gain. I'd recommend Courtney Roth with any hesitation. To boot, her office is clean, warm and inviting. I recently went to Roth Bodywork for a 90 minute Swedish massage and it was fabulous! Booking with Courtney was fast and easy. The location was easy to find and Courtney texted me in advance to let me know that a parking space was available in the back! Her sweet little studio is tucked away in a small office building. The atmosphere is calm and soothing. It's a small room but that lends itself to the cozy, relaxing feeling. Courtney's work on my body was strong, attentive and soothing. She reacted to my body and made it clear that I could always speak up to adjust pressure, etc. She was extremely professional, warm and caring. She obviously cares deeply for her clients and her business. She's very knowledgable as well. My first visit was through a Living Social deal. Her office is clean and neat, very comfortable. She takes the time to know you, to really get at what it is you need. I was so impressed by my massage, I booked two more visits right away. I went for my 2d visit this week. Courtney is an expert in her field, so in tune with the clients body. She found and worked the areas in my neck (I am a computer worker) and because she works with both hands in different areas I relax and release the muscle to her. In addition to that, I work out anywhere from 4-6 days of the week, and the best I can do at the moment for my recovery periods is foam rolling, stretching, and basic yoga.
