Doctors suggested that muscles in my back and neck could be triggering them. I asked her to work specifically on my neck and back during the several sessions I had with her. I sit at a computer all day for work, and then for most of my evenings, so those muscles are horribly tense and my posture isn't great. Rebecca gave me the best fix-it/"healing" massage I have ever received. I have been to many relaxing massage places, and a few sports therapy massage places - and Rebecca is by far the best of the best! I was able to find a preventative medicine to help with my headaches/migraines (as it turns out they were not being caused by my muscles), but Rebecca definitely helped to improve my nasty mess of knots in my back. I recommend her to everyone I know that's having any muscle pain that might be eased with massage. I haven't seen her in a while as I've been tight on finances, but I certainly plan to return :)

My wife scrambled online to find me a highly rated massage therapist with next day availability and that's how she found Rebecca. I opted for the 60 min/cupping as I have never done it before so I was real excited. She briefly talked about the procedure and 10-15 mins into the massage she applied the cups with the right amount of suction. It was a little strange but not uncomfortable. She kept those cups on while she worked on my legs and feet. She definitely hit some spots I didn't know I needed. Ultimately I walked outta there feeling great. I don't have a regular massage therapist, but I'd like to be a repeat customer. Thanks again Rebecca! Btw her dog is real sweet!

I showed up on time but they ran late and I waited 15-20 minutes to get started. Then my masseuse seemed upset that my massage was going to run late and seemed to rush through it. She also only gave me a 50 minute massage when I paid for an hour, and spent multiple chunks of time stepping out / talking to others out in the hall. I booked a 75-minute massage with Tamara at TA-Massage Bodywork while in town for the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, and the experience was a perfect 10/10! After all the training miles pounding on my legs, Tamara provided exactly what my body needed. She was professional, attentive, and incredibly skilled at identifying areas of tension and soreness. The pressure was customized perfectly, and I left feeling refreshed, recovered, and ready for my marathon! Tamara created such a relaxing environment while delivering therapeutic bodywork that made a night-and-day difference in how I felt afterward. It's hard to think of better massage therapist - Tamara not only creates a healing environment but with her command of anatomy she effectively pinpoints and treats my intractable troublespots. Finally, I must say in this covid-era I was super impressed with her precautions (I almost didn't post this review because I'd like her still have a few spots open for me) but anyone who is taking temps, asking after symptoms, masking, testing smell and disinfecting with ingenious UV lamps simply cannot go unrecommended. 5 and 1/2 stars. read more
