Thankful that gift certificates don't expire, it was worth the 6 year wait! Tamara is the best masseuse I have been to. Her office was comfortable and inviting, and free parking is available. She was friendly, warm, listened to my needs, and gauged conversation off of my questions. It was great to have a balance of conversation and quiet. We are both nerds so it was awesome to discuss the body as she worked through different areas. Being a visual person and in tune with my body, it was helpful to understand things in relation to my body. She also recommended things to help with areas of improvement. WOW!!! I'm extremely active and have had a tremendous amount of injuries in life and continue to lift weights, train jiu jitsu, play basketball, do yoga, lay in weird poses, sit at a desk, and my body is constantly fighting itself because of what I put it through. Tamara is, by far, the best massage therapist and healer I have ever met. I personally deal with chronic nerve pain and was finding no relief, until I met her. She takes the time to get to know your body, your pain, where you want the focus, and works her magic. Not only does she listen, she works the areas you SPECIFICALLY asked for! There are not many therapists who will do that. My pain is completely under control, thanks to her and I no longer need to pay ridiculous medical bills for Botox injections or medication (as that's all they can offer). As a writer, I experience chronic back and neck tension. I've worked with Tamara for several years, and she's done an excellent job at reducing the amount of muscle tension I had grown accustomed to. Now my chronic issues are not so severe, and seem to be getting better on a continual basis. I have much more range and motion in my neck and shoulders than I had a few years back, and a lot less pain.
