I'm updating because I realized I haven't given Angelo the shoutout he deserves! I started seeing him shortly after my initial review and he quickly became my go-to lash artist. I've referred multiple friends to him and we all agree, he takes the art of lash extensions to the next level. I get compliments on my lashes from everyone, even guy friends so you KNOW his work is amazing if they're noticing. If you wanna enjoy a quiet lash nap, you can snooze to his relaxing music. If you're more talkative, he knows how to keep the conversation going. Either way, he'll make sure you leave looking lash lovely. Also - Make sure you listen to his tips for lash retention! He knows what he's talking about. read more

**Responding to owner** there's always 2 sides to a story, and you're obviously upset I wrote a negative review about the experience. It's simply not true that I "hand picked products after berating the receptionist." I picked 3 products to get with the gift card before even being told that the credit could only be used on services. I never berated the receptionist (you weren't there when she spoke to me). Also, when you did become available, just because I asked you "how can we fix this?" or "what can you do?" doesn't mean I'm being aggressive. Maybe the voucher could have been voided, something could have been done to fix the mistake. Was I upset? Definitely. I also disagree that I caused a scene. You must be upset that that I'm documenting the experience here. The only 3 people involved in this interaction were you Heather, me, and the receptionist (who obviously only told you her side of the story before I even saw you). I felt incredibly mistreated and realized that the established 15 year long history as a regular loyal customer was not important to you. There was no desire to fix the issue or make things better, I was even more disappointed because I knew how loyal I was to you. I don't understand how there is a "financial hit" either because you got $300 directly into your company from my husband's payment online and the products you allowed me to have were only half of this amount so you're getting to keep the rest of the money for nothing (no products, no service). If anything, WE ARE taking the financial hit of paying for nothing. It's basic math. I'm not the type of person to write bad reviews, but I'm in disbelief as to how I was treated that I feel like others deserve to know what could happen to them even if they are regular well paying customers for 15 years like me. read more

Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Best of all I got an amazing restorative massage. I had such a bad crick in my neck and had no range of motion. By the time I left my range was at about 50%. By the middle of the next day I was all better and back to life, sports and checking my blind spots. Thanks to everyone at the HGSW! read more

I got my eyelashes done by Maranda today! She was amazing. I've never gotten them done, and it took about 2 hours but the time went super fast. Maranda was very interesting to talk to! Tia was working the front desk and was very nice :) I'd so go back here! Thanks y'all! I looooove my eyelashes read more

Heather Gordon Spa & Wellness - Skin Care Near Me - Austin, Texas

I had an incredible experience at Heather Gordon's salon and spa. Right when I walked in I was kindly greeted and given the option for a nice drink. Angelo was the person doing my eye lashes and he was so great! So full of character! I'm all about the energy I'm around and I loved his. He was very gentle and very meticulous with each lash. I walked out feeling so beautiful. He did a wonderful job. Not to mention I fell asleep and he had to deal with my snoring for close to 2 hours. (Lol sorry) I'd recommend him to anyone! Also I rebooked with him for my two week fill. read more

Heather Gordon Spa & Wellness - Waking up feeling beautiful with these lashes! Thank you! Don't mind my eyebrows lol - Skin Care Near Me - Austin, Texas

Went for a spray tan before vacay and was super impressed! This was the most even, glowing, bronzed tan of my life. I'm super fair, and had no idea what shade I should go for, so I let the experts choose for me and it was heavenly. No streaks, no fake orange hue, just glowing skin. Also made me feel super comfortable! Will definitely be going back! read more

Great experience! I went for the Tuesday special- microneedling. Emily was professional, knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. I'll be going back soon! read more

I booked a microneedling appointment with Melissa to treat my crows feet. First thing I noticed was the place is dope! Very clean and smells amazing! The front desk was very nice, checked me in with a smile. Once I got into the room, I was a little nervous. Melissa is a Saint! She answered all my questions and concerns, made sure I was comfortable before we started. The treatment went wonderful and was surprisingly relaxing. Afterwards, she gave me instructions on aftercare and even provided a free sample to take home. If you're looking for help with skincare I can't recommend Heather Gordon enough, thanks all the staff especially Melissa read more

I am very disappointed with the groupon deal I used to get a microdermabrasion treatment with Heather Gordon. When I arrived I noticed how unprofessional she was dressed, wearing a revealing shirt and very tight pants. It was a bit odd. Then I entered her room/office where she does the treatments. it was complexly trashed. Product bottles all over the place, dirty towels, the tabletops were very dirty. The actual microdermabrasion was ok, being my first time. She told me about the products she was using on me and what they did. After the treatment I asked if she could charge a tip. I gave her $10. Did I hear a thank you? NO! I know that after a microdermabrasion treatment, it will leave your face a bit red for a few days. It has been a few weeks now and I am breaking out worse than before and my skin tone is all blotchy. Needless to say, i will not be going back. read more

Maranda is an incredibly knowledgeable and talented esthetician! She's done my lash lift and tint, lip blushing, and a facial so far. Each service has been wonderful, I'm so happy with my results and I can't wait to see what my skin looks like in a few months, after monthly facials. They have membership packages for different services and have very reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be back! read more

I used a groupon to try this and am somewhat dissatisfied. I went in to the facial saying that I was concerned about one thing and one thing only--extractions. Don't really care about the relaxation, etc. Left and I could still see them. They were definitely better than when I came in. But I've gotten facials before where the extractions leave the pores super clean-looking. Was hesitant to leave this feedback because she's cool, for sure--but truth is that I had one goal for going on, and I made it clear from the beginning. No dice. read more

Had a wonderful facial with Heather!! Honestly, it was long overdue, she took time to access my skin and made great suggestions to enhance my service. Very happy with Heather's suggestion to add the microdermabrasion treatment. My skin looks and feels so much better!! She is very professional and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to my next appointment and would recommend her to anyone!! read more

I used a Groupon for a spray tan and wish I hadn't. The lady at the desk, who also did my spray tan, was nice and informative; however, her spray tanning skills left much to be desired. I got the medium-dark color and it's been over 5 hours since I was sprayed and I can see that some parts of my body are obviously darker than others. Mind you, I was super careful to wear loose cotton clothing, exfoliated, etc, and followed all the guidelines. This ain't my first spray tan rodeo. The backs of my forearms are much darker than the tops, which looks ridiculous and screams "fake tan". The right side of my right shin is noticeably darker than the left side. She barely sprayed my abdomen. I am going on vacation in a few days where I will be in a bikini- now I'm hoping this tan wears off or I will have to cover up :( I look like a zebra. I was worried during the tanning because the way she was applying the spray felt uneven and not very methodical. I wondered how much experience she had spray tanning. My fears are confirmed. Save your money and go to Hush Hush Tan. They are super fast and every tan I've ever gotten from them have been perfectly applied. The girls who apply the spray use even strokes and you can tell they know what they're doing. read more

I have been here twice so far within just a few weeks and can't wait to go back. Healthier is amazing! I was so pleased with the results as well as the customer service at her spa. The facility is clean and decorated so cute! I have recommended this spa to my friends already. read more

I have tried several different skin care salons and day spas (8-10 to be exact) around the Austin area, but none of them compare to Heather Gordon Skin Care and Waxing!!! Heather is an honest, open and caring individual that LOVES what she does! Her personality is sincere and genuine! She gets to know her clients so that way she is able to relate to them and create a personable approach to her practice. Her wealth of knowledge from her different experiences with skin care allow her to offer many services that other salons can not offer or perform at a level that Heather can! I have seen transformative results since I've been seeing Heather for my skin issues/imperfections! She cares about helping you achieve your skin's ideal look! I highly recommend Heather Gordon Skin Care and Waxing for all your skin care needs! You will not regret it!!!! Thank you Heather for taking care of my skin...you're the best! read more

HORRIBLE TRIAL SET! I appreciate how kind the eye lash specialist was but this took an hour and I was hoping to get a noticeable effect and didn't. After countless times of getting my top eyelashes stuck to my bottom lashes (supposedly because I don't brush them.) she repeatedly kept asking for me to open my eyes, when I would, my eyes would burn from how strong the glue was. Overall paid 67 dollars for a shitty service and then they had the audacity to ask me to schedule another appointment. I wish I could post pictures of the set. But for now don't go to heather gordon. read more

Heather Gordon Spa & Wellness - As you can see the curled ones are "fake eyelashes" even my boyfriend was like "there's like 4 on there" - Skin Care Near Me - Austin, Texas

I've been coming to Heather for facials for several years, and always have an awesome experience. Well... I wouldn't call getting extractions 'awesome' exactly, but it's over quickly, and she gets it done really well. I always leave with my skin feeling and looking amazing, and the experience is really relaxing and refreshing. Heather is a really sweet lady, who is very accommodating of my schedule... and makes me feel valued as a customer. If you need a facial, a peeal, microderm or a wax, I'd highly recommend her! read more

I highly recommend this salon! I pretty much don't go anywhere else for my spray tans. The women I've dealt with here have all been so welcoming, kind, and accommodating. It's like an upscale salon except without the snotty attitude that often plagues such establishments. Just go- you won't regret it! read more

Being a complete virgin with facials, microderm or chemical peels, I did not know what to expect when I got a microderm, yesterday. I had done the research and knew what a microderm could do for your skin, but I didn't know what it could do for mine. First off, Ms. Gordon knows how to make a naturally nervous person calm down and relax. Once she had me on the table, she explained every step right before she began next one. Every little question I had about it, she happily explained in full detail. IT WAS AWESOME. The whole experience was amazing. I can not say enough about her customer service, product knowledge, atmosphere or the overall experience. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who has every had a bad experience or no experice at all with professional skin care. My face looks and feels amazing today. She might have wiped a few years of wear and tear off with her magic. Thank you, Heather!!! read more

Heather is AMAZING!!! I've been a client for a year and I can't believe the changes to my skin. Heather is very knowledgeable and has educated me a lot about proper skin care. I never thought I could fall asleep with someone touching my face, but her facials are so relaxing that I frequently doze off! I love the PCA products she carries. I've always had issues with darkness under my eyes and puffiness. I have been using the new 'Ideal Complex Revitalizing eye gel' for just over a month now and the change is amazing! I tried the Chocolate Truffle Facial my last visit to address dryness from the cold weather and I loved it! WARNING: Chocolate cravings after this facial are highly likely! read more

So many reasons for this low rating but no reason to list them all as the management style is argumentative and unwilling to recognize their low quality service, unkind approach. Low level morals employed. read more

What an incredible Spa in Austin Texas! The owner Heather is one of my favorite Estheticians. I highly recommend a facial with chemical peel or relaxing deep tissue massage. Their skincare products for facials produce jaw dropping results! The Esthetician care is unmatched, they create a custom plan for each person depending on their skin. They will hook you up with the perfect facial schedule and easy home care regime. Regular massage really helps my body stay balanced and full of energy. Deep tissue massage is great for us athletes and active folks. read more

Just to put it as simply as possible- Miranda is the eyebrow QUEEN. This lovely lady has completely transformed my over-waxed eyebrows (don't get waxed at nail salons) into the thick babies they are now. The first appointment I had with her, she mapped out my eyebrows so she could work on the perfect shape for my face. And now the hairs that should've never been waxed, are growing back. If you have any, and I mean ANY waxing feaux pas, Miranda is your girl to go to for a transformation. Love her!!!! read more

I started getting facials with Maranda at Heather Gordon's Spa - and now I'm hooked! Apparently, you're not supposed to scrub your face with a loofah or use charcoal soap as part of your skin care. After picking herself up off the floor, Maranda nicely recommended some other products and techniques, but I never felt the "hard sell" that most beauty places have with their products. Maranda also developed a plan to get my skin healthy and is very knowledgeable as well as a lot of fun. After two sessions my face is noticeably looking better. If you're looking for someone to help with your skin regimen (man, woman, or however you identify) I highly recommend her! read more

I found a Groupon last week for the "Blissful Wonderland" package which included a facial and foot massage. I have been battling acne for years and have tried any different methods to control it (also, I'm a sucker for a good foot massage ) The treatment was awesome, although the facial was a bit painful at times. But, beauty is pain, right? Overall it was wonderful. I have scheduled a second appointment with Heather and bought some face wash she recommended. I will give an updated review in a few weeks to see if the treatment(s) and new face wash are working. read more

I had one of the best experiences at Heather Gordon Spa! Heather is friendly and knowledgeable. It's clear that she has years of experience and she knows her stuff. She even makes her own scrubs and balms from scratch, and they are HEAVENLY. Also, there are always awesome new products to try. The spa offers quite a few services, and each specialist has been great. I like that I can go to the same place for my massages, facials, waxing, and acupuncture. They have spray tans and lashes services too, but I haven't used those yet. I highly recommend this place. read more

Heather is marvelous. She has done two micro needling sessions out of a planned three and I cannot say enough about her professionalism, expertise, and talent. Even after the first treatment, I saw great results and cannot wait to see how it ends up after the third. The Spa is super cute and Heather is getting lots of new stuff every day. She just started selling swimsuits, the candles smell divine, the crystals are full of good energy, and the skincare line is wonderful. Thank you, Heather! read more

Heather is amazing and her spa is so cute! Today she had tiny pink cupcakes for guests. I just had a fabulous microneedling session and I hardly felt a thing. Microneedling is good for diminishing fine lines and evening out scarring. I don't ever want to age so I try and do this a few times a year. With Heather's help, you too can achieve vampire princess status. read more

I freakin' love this Spa! I started seeing Heather about two years ago, when my face was not happy with what I had put it through. She was able to completely change my skin for the better, and now I'm aging backwards. The products she recommended are fantastic, and I no longer play the trial and error game with my skin care routine. A couple of months ago, I started seeing Maranda. She's great too! I love being able to purchase packages of facials at a discount. It's an investment in my self care. Book today. You won't be disappointed. read more

Heather was extremely knowledgeable regarding a variety of skin care products and the physiology of skin as it relates to each type of product. She also knew exactly how to tailor the facial to my specific needs and only recommended skin care products (for at home) upon request. She answered every question I asked thoroughly and thoughtfully, providing the science behind why & how each product works. I left with glowing skin that felt like it could breathe again. I plan to come back as often as possible. read more

Heather Gordon Spa took care of my every need and made me feel pampered from the moment I walked in. I LOVE my eyelash extensions. It was my first time getting them and they made the process relaxing and easy for me, in spite of my random allergy attack midway through. They came out beautiful. My brow wax and tint are impeccably done. Best wax I've had done in a long long time. As someone with sensitive skin, waxing can be dicey for me sometimes, but again the products were top notch and I was totally pampered. My spray tan is such a beautiful color and looks so natural. Heather did an amazing job with the application. Nothing about it looks fake, and she made me very comfortable through the whole process. If I could leave 10 stars I would! I highly recommend booking yourself a few services and spending some time treating yourself here! I'll definitely be a repeat client! read more

I used a groupon to try this place, and I typically do a bit of research before buying them, especially when a deal seems too good to be true. I could have sworn that when I was searching there were several really positive reviews on Yelp. Now there are none. This is an indicator that the negative ones have probably been wiped and I'm sort of writing this to see if mine will make it to public view. I'm giving this place one star because you can't give anything less. I had serious issues simply trying to schedule an appointment. Then the day before my scheduled appointment when I hadn't received any confirmation I called the owner to be told that I must have somehow scheduled my appointment for Jan 2011, not 2012. She made the appointment, not me. How could I, the website never worked! Then again, neither did the original phone number Groupon provided either. The actual facial wasn't even performed by the owner. It was a very young intern type woman who was nice enough, but I've had many facials and this was a joke. Starting with the stained sheets, and towel with old velcro, commercials on the radio b/c they were switching music providers (???), and ending with a "facial" that basically consisted of having my face washed 3 times. No communication, not even a sales pitch of their line of cleansers which most places truly believe in their products and want you to buy part of the line. The whole thing was awkward, annoying and disappointing. The worst part is that I purchased two other groupons as gifts for my Mom and SIL, of which I'm embarrassed for them to use the certificate, it's a waste of time. read more

Had microdermabrasion for the first time, and it was very effective. Heather was very nice and informative about the service and the products she used after the treatment. I used a groupon, so the price was very affordable. I will definitely go to her, again. She has beautiful skin herself, by the way. read more

I highly recommend Heather Gordon! As a first time client, I found Heather to be professional, helpful and very kind. Today, my skin feels amazing! When I called to make an appointment I had to leave a message, but she called me right back and I received numerous email reminders from her I can't wait to go back! read more

I preface this with saying...I never write Yelp reviews but I started going here because of a Groupon about 6 months ago and am so GLAD I did! I've been going back to see Heather for her fabulous Organic Spray tan that leaves me smelling WAAAY less stinky than any other I've used and she totally kills my spray tan every time. Plus it doesn't hurt that she has always been really flexible with scheduling and always works with me to get me in ASAP. It doesn't hurt that she's super nice and makes you feel relaxed! read more

I've been to see Heather twice now, once for a microderm abrasion and then for a chemical peel. I really like the results, she is very fairly priced, love the ease of online scheduling and the location. She gives great care to my skin and I will continue going to her and taking my teenager as well. read more

Miranda is amazing. She gives the best facials and I love the way she does my brows and tints my lashes. Fantastic products, they always go above and beyond with their commitment to service. Heather Gordon is super hospitable and sweet. I've been to various ATX spas and this is my favorite. Recommend the hydra facial, classic facial and brows/lash tinting with Miranda. read more

Went for their new teeth whitening trial. I found everybody nice, friendly, and professional, what's not to like!
