**Responding to owner** there's always 2 sides to a story, and you're obviously upset I wrote a negative review about the experience. It's simply not true that I "hand picked products after berating the receptionist." I picked 3 products to get with the gift card before even being told that the credit could only be used on services. I never berated the receptionist (you weren't there when she spoke to me). Also, when you did become available, just because I asked you "how can we fix this?" or "what can you do?" doesn't mean I'm being aggressive. Maybe the voucher could have been voided, something could have been done to fix the mistake. Was I upset? Definitely. I also disagree that I caused a scene. You must be upset that that I'm documenting the experience here. The only 3 people involved in this interaction were you Heather, me, and the receptionist (who obviously only told you her side of the story before I even saw you). I felt incredibly mistreated and realized that the established 15 year long history as a regular loyal customer was not important to you. There was no desire to fix the issue or make things better, I was even more disappointed because I knew how loyal I was to you. I don't understand how there is a "financial hit" either because you got $300 directly into your company from my husband's payment online and the products you allowed me to have were only half of this amount so you're getting to keep the rest of the money for nothing (no products, no service). If anything, WE ARE taking the financial hit of paying for nothing. It's basic math. I'm not the type of person to write bad reviews, but I'm in disbelief as to how I was treated that I feel like others deserve to know what could happen to them even if they are regular well paying customers for 15 years like me. read more

Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Best of all I got an amazing restorative massage. I had such a bad crick in my neck and had no range of motion. By the time I left my range was at about 50%. I've referred multiple friends to him and we all agree, he takes the art of lash extensions to the next level. HORRIBLE TRIAL SET! I appreciate how kind the eye lash specialist was but this took an hour and I was hoping to get a noticeable effect and didn't. After countless times of getting my top eyelashes stuck to my bottom lashes (supposedly because I don't brush them.) she repeatedly kept asking for me to open my eyes, when I would, my eyes would burn from how strong the glue was. Overall paid 67 dollars for a shitty service and then they had the audacity to ask me to schedule another appointment. I wish I could post pictures of the set. I am very disappointed with the groupon deal I used to get a microdermabrasion treatment with Heather Gordon. When I arrived I noticed how unprofessional she was dressed, wearing a revealing shirt and very tight pants. It was a bit odd. Then I entered her room/office where she does the treatments. it was complexly trashed. Product bottles all over the place, dirty towels, the tabletops were very dirty. The actual microdermabrasion was ok, being my first time. She told me about the products she was using on me and what they did. After the treatment I asked if she could charge a tip. I gave her $10. Did I hear a thank you? NO! I know that after a microdermabrasion treatment, it will leave your face a bit red for a few days. It has been a few weeks now and I am breaking out worse than before and my skin tone is all blotchy. Needless to say, i will not be going back. read more

I used a Groupon for a spray tan and wish I hadn't. The lady at the desk, who also did my spray tan, was nice and informative; however, her spray tanning skills left much to be desired. I got the medium-dark color and it's been over 5 hours since I was sprayed and I can see that some parts of my body are obviously darker than others. Mind you, I was super careful to wear loose cotton clothing, exfoliated, etc, and followed all the guidelines. This ain't my first spray tan rodeo. The backs of my forearms are much darker than the tops, which looks ridiculous and screams "fake tan". The right side of my right shin is noticeably darker than the left side. She barely sprayed my abdomen. I am going on vacation in a few days where I will be in a bikini- now I'm hoping this tan wears off or I will have to cover up :( I look like a zebra. I was worried during the tanning because the way she was applying the spray felt uneven and not very methodical. I wondered how much experience she had spray tanning. My fears are confirmed. Save your money and go to Hush Hush Tan. They are super fast and every tan I've ever gotten from them have been perfectly applied. The girls who apply the spray use even strokes and you can tell they know what they're doing. read more

This lovely lady has completely transformed my over-waxed eyebrows (don't get waxed at nail salons) into the thick babies they are now. After picking herself up off the floor, Maranda nicely recommended some other products and techniques, but I never felt the "hard sell" that most beauty places have with their products. Being a complete virgin with facials, microderm or chemical peels, I did not know what to expect when I got a microderm, yesterday. I had done the research and knew what a microderm could do for your skin, but I didn't know what it could do for mine. It was my first time getting them and they made the process relaxing and easy for me, in spite of my random allergy attack midway through. They came out beautiful. My brow wax and tint are impeccably done. Best wax I've had done in a long long time. As someone with sensitive skin, waxing can be dicey for me sometimes, but again the products were top notch and I was totally pampered. My spray tan is such a beautiful color and looks so natural. I used a groupon to try this place, and I typically do a bit of research before buying them, especially when a deal seems too good to be true. I could have sworn that when I was searching there were several really positive reviews on Yelp. Now there are none. This is an indicator that the negative ones have probably been wiped and I'm sort of writing this to see if mine will make it to public view. I'm giving this place one star because you can't give anything less. I had serious issues simply trying to schedule an appointment. Then the day before my scheduled appointment when I hadn't received any confirmation I called the owner to be told that I must have somehow scheduled my appointment for Jan 2011, not 2012. She made the appointment, not me. How could I, the website never worked! Then again, neither did the original phone number Groupon provided either. The actual facial wasn't even performed by the owner. It was a very young intern type woman who was nice enough, but I've had many facials and this was a joke. Starting with the stained sheets, and towel with old velcro, commercials on the radio b/c they were switching music providers (???), and ending with a "facial" that basically consisted of having my face washed 3 times. No communication, not even a sales pitch of their line of cleansers which most places truly believe in their products and want you to buy part of the line. The whole thing was awkward, annoying and disappointing. The worst part is that I purchased two other groupons as gifts for my Mom and SIL, of which I'm embarrassed for them to use the certificate, it's a waste of time. read more

I went to this salon from a Groupon I had ordered for a family wedding. I have had many spray tans over the years and I wasn't incredibly impressed with this one. The portion around my wrists weren't even touched and I had speckles of the tan on them which looked really bad. The lower parts of my legs close to my ankles/feet were also barely touched as well so it looked like I had worn socks outside and had tan lines. The staff was very friendly, but I will not come here again for a spray tan as I've never had a tan miss so many places before. read more
