No stars for sure!!they don't even deserve the 1 star but unfortunately you have to rate something…read moreto review...Very rude services which turned into tax lectures....I'll let you decide...We all know the system is broken and can't get the help when needed sometimes. Hearing aids are very expensive and are most likely not covered through most insurance. I have Hearing loss and obviously need Hearing aids. I haven't been able to dish the money out for new ones, so I have a pair of Hearing aids that were given to me by my father. He's 83 yrs old, veteran. Had this pair of Hearing aids that were sitting around for a year and not being used, issued to my father from the V.A. I was told over the phone it was no problem to bring them in and help me get them fixed so I could use them for myself. Im sure I am not the only person that has ever inherited Hearing aids from their veteran family members.....so waited 2 weeks for a appointment, when I arrived it was typical, polite at the desk, first time paper work etc....then the so called professional specialist that loves to help people...really didn't want to help me at all. Instead wanted to lecture me about taxes?? Really??starting saying that I basically shouldn't have these Hearing aids and they are the V.A.s property? Then starts to tell me she pays taxes and the Hearing aids should have been returned by my father if he wasn't using them. Really and that was going to help your tax break??? A pair of Hearing aids?? First of all we all pay taxes and my father definitely paid a tax for his service one way or another. The real issue was that someone like myself, randomly pick this place based off good reviews so I could walk in and get the help needed regardless of the story behind the Hearing aids or how I have them. I had a pair fixed before for me somewhere else, those were VA issued as well, no problems. Then there was lots of excuses why she couldn't fix them and different prices all over the map..so I'm sure they will help you possibly..but don't forget your taxes !! What a joke!! Don't waste you time or money into this organization. I went to ADVANCED INSTRUMENTS hearing aid services in vallejo. They were extremely nice, helped me for very reasonable price, fixed my hearing aids regardless from how I received them and most importantly they didn't pull that TRUMP CARD!!.......so you decide

Turned out two friends are Kenwood Patients for the past decade and the other for 5 years. Especially satisfied. My work has been with Inessa Rubinshteyn over the past few months. From "test drives" thru selection of Phonak and now making adjustments to my particular needs. Her manner is calm, patient and empathic. I know I am understood by her and she joins me in my celebration of learning to hear in a new way. I asked for a brief appointment for a slight adjustment and her team mate jumped in to help out. I highly recommend Inessa.

I want to be charitable in writing this review. I believe that Jennifer and Deanna at Bay Area…read moreHearing Services (BAHS) did their absolute best to provide a good service experience, but unfortunately they failed at doing so. They were friendly and tried to be accommodating, but my experience there was ultimately very disappointing. Prior to coming to BAHS, I had worn a pair of Signia Silk 7x CIC ("completely in canal" = virtually invisible) hearing aids for five years, which were provided to me by an excellent local provider. I was very happy with them, but they were now old and rather obsolete. Unfortunately, my health insurer now requires that patients work through a hearing reseller called Amplifon rather than directly with hearing aid providers, and my previous provider does not work with Amplifon. Amplifon therefore referred me to Bay Area Hearing Services. Here are the reasons for my disappointment: 1. Although it had been over half a year since my last audiogram, Deanna declined to perform a new audiogram prior to fitting me with hearing aids, because "your previous audiogram is probably good enough" (!) This means that even though they were offering me new hearing aids made by a different manufacturer, serviced by a different provider, and with a completely different hardware profile from my previous aids, they did not intend to test my hearing at all in order to fit them. 2. Although BAHS is in the Amplifon network, BAHS staff are not proficient in Amplifon's processes and procedures. Jennifer did not know how to use Amplifon's software interface at all, and Deanna had a considerable amount of difficulty navigating it. 3. Most disappointing by far is the fact that the hearings I was ultimately sold turned out not to feature ANY of the features or benefits that Deanna had promised when she was offering them to me. NOT ONE. I had stated from the outset that I was only interested in CIC hearing aids. I did not want a device that was visible from the outside. Deanna had recommended the Nexia 9 hearing aid, manufactured by a company called ReSound. She spent several minutes presenting a demo of the Nexia phone app, highlighting features like bluetooth, wireless operation, volume and balance control, telehealth remote adjustment and customizable hearing programs. BAHS did not have demo hearing aids on hand to demonstrate these features, but Deanna assured me that the hearing aids she was selling me would include all of them. Delighted with the demo, I proceeded to have wax casts made of my ears and paid for the hearing aids. Deanna gave me a brochure detailing the features of my new hearing aids, and sent me on my way. Shockingly, Deanna phoned me back about half an hour later (while I was in the car driving home) to admit that in fact, the hearing aids she had sold me had NONE of the features she had demoed and promised. NOT A SINGLE ONE. They were not wireless, did not have bluetooth, did not work with an app, and had only pre-defined programs that could not be customized. They did not feature a volume control or balance control. They did not support telehealth remote adjustment. The programs could only be changed by removing each hearing aid from the ear and pressing a button on it, then doing the same in the opposite ear. THE BROCHURE SHE HAD GIVEN ME WAS FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MODEL OF HEARING AID (and was also outdated, it turns out). Even this information was relayed to me in an inaccurate and piecemeal fashion, and it was only after a follow-up call the next day that Deanna clarified for me the inaccuracies she had conveyed in the previous call. 4. When it became clear that this was what a less charitable customer might call a bait-and-switch, I asked the phone receptionist to cancel my order and refund the money to my credit card. (It was now Friday afternoon.) Unfortunately, the receptionist told me there was no one in the office who knew how to cancel an Amplifon order or process a card refund, and that there would not be until Monday or Tuesday. I ultimately had no choice but to phone Amplifon's corporate office in Minneapolis and process the refund through them -- a process which took about an hour and required my speaking with three separate individuals. Had I not succeeded in doing this, I would have had to file a claim with my credit card issuer. I can see that there are many very positive reviews for BAHS here, and I believe all of the reviewers when they say they had an excellent experience there. I'm confident that most of BAHS's customers do not come through Amplifon and do not specifically request a CIC hearing aid, which may be why they may not experience the frustrations that I did.

So I'd take my review with a grain of salt because I don't think I'm the average clientele here - I…read moredon't think I need a hearing aid (yet?) but I think the customer service experience I received sloppy but kind. I just think this place wasn't for me or my ear issues. Again, the staff was very nice, but I was paying out of pocket for an ENT appointment that lasted all of about 8 minutes and was charged twice. (I'm sure it was just a simple clerical mistake but I'm self employed and don't make a ton of $ so the double charge affected my weekend). I called the office but they're closed on the weekends. Anyway, after the 8 minutes ENT suggested that I probably have nerve damage in my ear. I was hoping it was just wax or an ear infection, but there's no way of knowing without having a nerve test done. Even so, I cancelled my appointment for the following week and notified them of the double charge in a voicemail because I had to leave town unexpectedly - and on Monday I received a voicemail to confirm my appointment I thought I had cancelled. So I left another vm and sent 2 emails since I was still out of town. The double charge went away (I also contested it on my account), but I never received a call back to confirm. While out of town I ended up going to a holistic doctor and she seemed to think my problems came from my tweaked neck and could be somewhat improved with holistic treatment, chiropractic and acupuncture. Since my issues aren't severe - I will probably go that route when I get back home. So again, I'm sure everything would have been resolved at its own pace but as a first time customer the experience was enough to make not want to return.

I am copying/posting my review on this Yelp since there are two pages:::…read more Yay!! Dr. S is the best! So thrilled with the choice of procedures I had done. This is one of those places where you have to go in in order to see all the before/after pictures, as they are not all posted on their website. This is a doctor who has done THOUSANDS of these procedures and you get to see a glimpse of them with these before/after pictures! It was through a colleague that had her nose done by him that I decided to head in for a consultation! Immediately, I knew what a professional, experienced, and meticulous surgeon he was. I felt no rush, as we went through the pictures one by one. Some nose jobs required an incision in order to fix the tip, some nose jobs did not and just needed the bone shaved down. This all depended on what I personally wanted, for which he gave his opinion and advice. I decided to go with wanting my tip to be smaller as well, in addition to my bone being shaved down. I truly believe that your nose is the capital of your face! It changes EVERYTHING. It was pretty crazy to see the difference that small change to your nose can make--I'm so happy I made this decision. Gigi took great care of me as well, she is HILARIOUS. Thanks you for a wonderful experience to the staff

I had a new patient appointment with Dr. Wallace at this clinic. San Pablo Rd (the main road…read moreleading to this clinic) was closed in one direction for over 10 min. so I was stuck. I called the Sutter number listed for this location from my car to let them know what was happening and they told me they'll let the office know and no problem. Sutter has a 15-min late policy which allows them to cancel your appointment if you're late. I walked in 14 minutes into my appointment time. After checking in and waiting to see the doctor, I was told that Dr.Wallace decided to cancel my appointment. I was shocked! I asked to speak to Dr. Wallace, but I was told she needed to leave early that day and was filling out paperwork. I waited to speak to the clinic manager and complained that my appointment should not be cancelled because a doctor wants to leave early on a Friday afternoon and that I was not technically late. She explained that I was late, because the checking in process took about 2-3 minutes. I had a time sensitive medical reason why I needed to see a PCP and waited weeks for that appointment. I was crying uncontrollably in the lobby and requested again to just speak to the doctor briefly, but she refused and did not care. It is a terrible feeling to deal with a medical problem and feel that no one is willing to help you. I cannot imagine that a doctor who treats any of her patients in this careless way can be an effective or empathetic caretaker. Obviously this clinic is pretty bad also from all the 1-star reviews.

I've had a couple of disappointing experiences with Sutter, both resulting in unexpected charges…read more During one visit for my son, the doctor said flu and COVID tests likely weren't necessary, then ran them anyway, without explaining they would be billed as diagnostic rather than preventative. We were charged over $500 for simple tests we didn't ask for and didn't need. In another case, we brought in routine camp health forms for my daughter. The front desk wouldn't accept them without an appointment. During the visit, the doctor confirmed the appointment wasn't actually needed for the forms, yet we were still charged based on minor concerns that came up in conversation. The doctor was kind, but unfortunately, the costs were never clearly explained. Both situations felt like "gotcha" billing... Originally this was a two star review, but I just discovered the bill was sent to collections - we've been waiting for Sutter to respond to my letter appealing the charges.
