Turned out two friends are Kenwood Patients for the past decade and the other for 5 years. Especially satisfied. My work has been with Inessa Rubinshteyn over the past few months. From "test drives" thru selection of Phonak and now making adjustments to my particular needs. Her manner is calm, patient and empathic. I know I am understood by her and she joins me in my celebration of learning to hear in a new way. I asked for a brief appointment for a slight adjustment and her team mate jumped in to help out. Every time one of my kids are sick, they are seen right away and shown a ton of compassion. I've had a couple of disappointing experiences with Sutter, both resulting in unexpected charges…read more During one visit for my son, the doctor said flu and COVID tests likely weren't necessary, then ran them anyway, without explaining they would be billed as diagnostic rather than preventative. We were charged over $500 for simple tests we didn't ask for and didn't need. In another case, we brought in routine camp health forms for my daughter. The front desk wouldn't accept them without an appointment. During the visit, the doctor confirmed the appointment wasn't actually needed for the forms, yet we were still charged based on minor concerns that came up in conversation. The doctor was kind, but unfortunately, the costs were never clearly explained. Both situations felt like "gotcha" billing... Originally this was a two star review, but I just discovered the bill was sent to collections - we've been waiting for Sutter to respond to my letter appealing the charges.

The kind of people they are looking for is exactly who I am, so I called I left all my information that was eight days ago. After for five days I called again left my information again. Never called back. This should be a crime, to give old people false hope. I have a feeling their scam is to demonstrate to the government that they're taking care of all these people who left their information, then the government sends them money like medical money, and then they send out some more flyers in the mail (probably at taxpayer) then get some more old people. Long time ago I had contracts with my county and the state of California, and I quickly understood that there's usually no oversight, the government doesn't check to make sure you're actually doing the service as you claim you're doing.

On the first day, the caregiver arrived a half an hour late with no explanation and did not call to let us know. The second day no one showed up and no one called to let us know. When WE CALLED the second day to find out the status, at that point we were told no one would be coming and there was no substitute available. No apologies, nothing. We are dealing with a lot of emotions knowing we will lose a beloved member of our family and should not have to go through more issues - especially when they do not inform us. Now we will monitor our credit card to make sure we are not improperly billed for services not rendered and wonder if this company has drone this in the past. Not a good way to start off and wish zero stars were an option. As far as the first night with help. We were told certain assistance would be given but the person that came in said they wouldn't be doing a number of things. So basically, they didn't help that much at all and used the house to take a nap on the recliner. Horrible communication from front office with information of care provided vs reality of not much care at all. I would stay far away from this company.
