UPDATE: now a month later I have a piece of siding loose and the vent piece in the peak is gone. First they said they'd send the harasser out to look at it, then they rescheduled. They further stated that they currently don't have a repair team as the guy left the company. Then the harasser didn't show up the second day, no call, no text. My bf called them as I won't deal with them anymore, and they said since there were tornadoes in Nashville around that time that it was storm damage and they would not fix it! Seriously?! I don't live in Nashville!! There is no damage anywhere near my neighborhood! When questioned about standing by their work, they hung up on my bf! They won't answer or return my calls at all! Now we have to hire a contractor to fix ONE missing piece and my contractor told me the loose piece is not lined up and will continue to pop of. I have sent a letter to their complaint department and plan to go to BBB as well. Unbelievable!! Worst experience ever with a contractor!! ******* I needed new siding on my entire house. As with the other review, I saw recommendations and good reviews online. It took about a month but they came out and started tearing off the old siding. Frank, the foreman, was great and let me know about a damaged area that needed fixed. A couple of days later they were back and put up all the new siding, which looked great but apparently they had to order the shutters. A week or so later they come back and put a couple shudders up (I have 3 windows that need shudders). A week or so later they come back with another shutter. While I'm out of town they let my boyfriend know that they would be coming the next day to finish. My boyfriend tells them I was out of town when they came out. The next morning, while I'm out of town I get MULTIPLE calls and emails. As soon as I'm available I call the rep back who tells me they finished the job and want paid now. I advised that I was not at home and had he let me know in a timely manner I would have left a check. He advised that I then need to pay by card and add 3%. Ummm ... no. I'm not going to pay an extra 3% on a $9000 bill because of their lack of communication. I told him I'd be home Monday and give him a check then. He then has the office call me again to get my cc info. I told her that I will send a check on Monday when I get home and asked for a copy of the bill. She tells me the rep just won't get paid. Not my problem. I get home and the texts and phone calls start again. I had to finally tell him to stop and that I didn't appreciate the harassment when he knew I was out of town and I never said I wouldn't pay. He then accused me of "ghosting him" and that the total was due the day they finished. I advised him again that I was out of town when they finished without letting me know in advance to leave a check. He was very nasty and accusatory in the multiple calls and texts. I mailed the check to the office but he wanted all the details of me sending the check! It was beyond ridiculous and I felt harassed. I'm not sure if it because I'm a woman that he tried to bully me or he just didn't have any people skills! The check has been cashed and his number blocked. VERY Unprofessional read more

Epitome in patience.  I called and requested an estimate to have my house quoted for a roof.  I received voicemail when I called but someone returned my call within 15 minutes.  We scheduled an appt for inspection and quote and I wrote it down on the wrong day, a day later.  me Being 30 minutes away he agreed to show up the next morning.  He got a ladder out and inspected my roof and gave what I call a fair estimate (3500 under competion).  He answered all my questions and based on his feedback and the amount I hired them on the spot.  Here's where it get's tricky.  I found out I had a honey be nest in the eve of the second floor easily 15' off the ground.  I told them this would likely be an issue and they agreed to put the job on hold. I could not get ANYONE to remove the bees even exterminating them(which I didn't want to do).  I wound up learning about bee's, buying a lift and did the job myself and the bees are now in a hive on my property, this took 3 months.  I called them up and they said "we can be there next wednesday" and showed up when they said they would.  Because of the pitch of my roof and multiple levels it took them 2 days.  I stopped by the office and paid for my roof and received my warranty and completed bill in the mail a couple of days later. read more

I have used 4 different companies over the past 3 years to correct a leak in my roof. No one could find out what the issue was. Then I called Heartland Roofing Siding Windows. They made the repairs they thought would remedy the situation. While it did not completely correct the leak, it DID slow it down significantly. When I called them back out, they told me that they had done everything they could think of and the only way to ensure the leak could be stopped is to tear off the entire section and replace it. I'm so glad they did. The leak issue was caused by a hole in my decking that a previous roofer had just placed the shingles over with no water protectant. No one found it because the hole was towards the peak and the water was running down the rafters causing damage about 6 feet from the hole. They were thorough and determined to make the needed corrections. I WILL call them again. read more

So far so good, will give updated review after a good soaking rain. We scheduled a tear off and replacement on an old metal roof with shingle beneath. The crew arrived early and got started right away. The tear off took them the bulk of the day and once the old metal and shingle were taken off they cleaned the sheathing and had it looking brand new. They replaced a lot of rotten boards and leveled it off nicely, replaced two vents and flashed the chimney before laying the new asphalt shingle. The crew was professional and seemed to work really well together, they really busted their butts! The foreman made a few appearances during the install and even came out the next day to inspect the craftsmanship himself. The roof looks great and we are hoping we don't have to hold our breath when it rains anymore. read more

I do not normally leave reviews, unless I have unusually bad service or unusually good service. Heartland Roofing Siding Windows did a fantastic job. My neighbor had his roof installed by another company the same day as mine was being done. My roof looks better than my neighbors, the work was done on mine in one day and my neighbor's roof took 4. My yard was left cleaner than my neighbor's and while I DID find a few leftover nails, my neighbor picked up a coffee can full from his yard. Our houses are the same. I don't know what kind of warranty my neighbor was offered, but I have a lifetime warranty. I am pleased with my experience and I wanted to take a moment and thank Heartland. read more

I FINALLY have my new roof! I had quite a bit of storm damage. I called 5 companies for estimates. I chose one of the cheaper options. Roofs are expensive! I paid the 50% deposit that was requested and then nothing. No call. No materials. No roof. And it took me 3 months of calling every 2 hours before I was able to get my deposit returned to me. I went back to my estimates and decided to call Heartland Roofing Siding Windows. Their number was not the cheapest, but it wasn't the most expensive either. My roof was installed 1 week after my call. And no one asked me for any money until the work was complete. Cheaper is not always better. Lesson learned. read more

I had a pretty good storm at my house a couple of weeks ago. Ended up with a leak and quite a few of my shingles were blown up or off the roof. I thought I was going to have to find the money for a new roof. Thankfully, I was wrong. Jeff came out and told me that I would be just fine for a couple more years(weather permitting) and made the needed repairs to stop the leak and replaced the shingles. He could have given me an estimate and told me that I needed a whole new roof. I like that he was honest and went with a repair instead. I contracted with Heartland Roofing to install a new roof on my house. They exceeded my expectations. My roof has gone thru a few storms and no leaking. That already puts them above the last company that installed a roof for me about 4 years ago. I won't mention who it was, but I had nothing but problems with it, The last time I called the other company, I found out that they had moved back to Texas. This time, I made sure that I found a LOCAL company that has been here for awhile. If I DO have a problem, at least I know that Heartland will still be here to take care of me. read more

I hired Heartland Roofing to put a new roof on my house and I am glad I did. My neighbor went with another company and the difference between how that company works and how Heartland works is huge. I have a lifetime warranty (my neighbor does not), my yard was cleaned well (my neighbor had to have her company out 2 more times to clean up), and I have the better looking roof. Getting my new roof was a nightmare, until I found Heartland. The first roofer I hired, took my money and gave me a HORRIBLY installed roof that I had to have REROOFED within the first 6 months. So it was time for a new roof. I did my due diligence and scheduled 5 estimates. Heartland fell right in the middle. They were recommended to me by my neighbor. They installed the roof within 6 days of me signing the proposal. Everything went as I was told it would. When the crew was finished, the roof looked so good that it made my gutters look that much older and uglier. I mentioned that to my representative and we discussed gutters. When the tornado came thru Nashville earlier this month, my house was damaged pretty badly. I called Heartland Roofing Siding Windows and had them come out and meet with my adjuster. I didn't have to do anything other than call and submit my claim with my insurance company.
