When I first called them in November 2023 about roof leaks in a house I just bought, they were awesome. I even gave them a 5-star review on their website and on my neighborhood FB (which is now deleted). I paid them 11K for all new gutters and drip-edge flashing, plus new flashing all around. Then the leaks got worse and ceiling stains showed up in 3 rooms that had no previous leaking. After several visits b/c they couldn't determine the problem, they came back and said it was due to gaps in the brick work around my chimneys (fireplaces are electric). I had my suspicions they didn't truly know, so I hired someone else who checked behind the flashing they had installed and he discovered there was no paper barrier running up the sides of the chimneys. We requested they come back and re-do the flashing including the paper barrier installation, which they did with no problem. (I think they recognized their guys had screwed up.) Also, they had promised to repair/paint the ceilings where new leaks showed up. And then there were crickets. I contacted Randy at least 5 times over the course of 4 months to ask about returning to repair the brick work, and I was even going to pay them to install new fascia. I was still on good terms with them despite the flashing issue. He showed up on the 3rd request in April and said if he had to do it all over again, they would never have taken my job b/c the roof hadn't been installed correctly. They said we were costing them money (Wow.) The flashing problem was on their end and yes, there were definite problems with the roof decking in some areas, which they kindly handled and were promptly paid. However, every time I asked for the promised quote to repair the brick work and replace fascia, he said the quote was on its way and then I would hear nothing. If he didn't want the work, just say so. Why did he even come to the house with a clipboard to look at the fascia? He was costing himself money if he never intended to send me a quote. But don't say the quote's on its way and then do nothing. You're just inconveniencing and delaying the customer and it appears dishonest. By the way, they never followed up on repairing/painting my ceilings, so I paid to have it fixed myself. They were great to work with in the beginning, but I truly wonder about their roofing knowledge and/or training of workers. Buyer beware. read more
