This has been a very positive experience so far. Initially we had a little confusion making…read morecontact, but when I tried again the owner of the business got right back to me to set things straight. We set up a deep clean for my elderly mom's house. The two cleaning ladies showed up right on time and were very friendly and professional and the house looked (and smelled!) great afterwards. They cleaned everything from the top of the refrigerator down to the baseboards. Prices are reasonable and the work was very thorough. We're having them come back once every two weeks now. I would recommend them.

They then left a note saying that they won't enter closed doors, and placed the note in front of my father who was reading a book on the couch!! My bedroom door is always closed as I have a kitten that likes to reek havoc in there, but today, they decided not to ask the man sitting right there if they could enter, but left a note in front of him, cleaned half of my apartment, took the $145 and left. Consider this when thinking about choosing a cleaning company. I left a message asking for them to return and do the rest of the job that I PAID for. I will leave a follow up comment with whether they remedy their ridiculously unprofessional, inconsiderate and unethical decision.

Their response time was great. We corresponded with questions and they gave a fair quote of just over $700. We scheduled for 9 am on a certain day. The day before the appt, I received a text asking to change the time to between 10-11. I showed up a little before 10. Just after 11 I contacted them and they said the team would be there about 11:30. At 11:40 I contacted them again and they said they were on their way. Glenda and her team arrived a little after 12. We did a walk through and the cleaner asked what I wanted done, like baseboards, etc. I mentioned that it was a deep clean move out and she said "yeah I know." She was surprised there was pet hair and said she didn't bring a vacuum that could handle hair. I let her know that I was clear about the multiple pets and hair when I scheduled. She said she was taking her daughters, who were her team, to lunch and to get her big vacuum and she'd be back in an hour. About 90 minutes later, I get a call from Helen in the office stating that the cleaner was not coming and they were going to try to find someone else. She kept saying that the office was aware of the pet hair from when I booked but there was more than expected. To be clear, Helen had no basis for that claim other than what Glenda told her. There were no pictures, Helen did not see the house, and it was pretty obvious that Glenda showed up unprepared, not knowing there were pets. Helen called me later and asked to reschedule and I said no, I had other appointments coming up that were dependent on the cleaning being done. She apologized profusely and was incredibly polite, stating they would try to get a team out, but still insisting that there was more hair than expected. In the meantime, I had canceled my plans the rest of the day, woke my 3rd shift husband to come help, and we began to clean. I brought my vacuum and got the whole house. Helen called back saying they couldn't find anyone so I said to just cancel it, I was already doing it myself. At that point she said she found someone and they were on their way out to the house. It was nearly 4 pm by this time. The cleaner, Chenese, arrived about 30 minutes later. Let me tell you about Chenese. This woman was simply incredible. She came in with a pleasant attitude, a willing spirit, and an amazing work ethic. I had vacuumed the entire house and she got right to work in the kitchen. She worked fast and had eveything sparkling, from one end of the house to the other, and even did a once over with her vacuum to be sure the job was complete. She should have been given a team, but she ended up having to clean a whole house alone at the last minute, except for what my husband and I did. Shortly after Chenese arrived, I got a text stating they didn't think the flat rate was fair after what had happened and would switch to hourly. They said it was normally $60 per hour but would give a discount and made it $45 per hour. Chenese was there just under 5 hours finishing about 8:30ish, which would have made it $225. After Chenese was done, Helen called back. I told her how amazing Chenese was and that she saved the day. Helen said that they wanted to discuss payment because Chenese was so good they wanted to pay her what she is worth. She rescinded the discounted hourly rate and asked for a flat rate of $500. I told her no. I reiterated to her that I had to cancel everything, wake my husband up, and did a lot of cleaning ourselves. At this point, I did not have faith that they would pay Chenese fairly if I fought for the agreed $45 an hour so I stated I would pay $400 and nothing more and that if there were any other costs, they would have to eat that. Chenese was amazing and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. If you ever come across Chenese I., hire her. She's worth her weight in gold.
