Fried chicken, meatloaf, fried green tomatoes, cream corn and hush puppies

Amazing home cooking! Reminds me of my great grandmother's cooking. Fried chicken, meatloaf, desserts, rolls!

My shout goes to the staff at The Hearth Restaurant! They are always smiling, attentive and super nice! Craig Ford goes beyond making the best biscuits in Tennessee!! He has offered to bring my mother meals when I am not there to take care of her!! What a great man!

French toast

Morning meal during rodeo weekend. Service was slow, had multiple servers, buffet was 11.99 with barely anything in the buffet. Though the Salad bar had more selection than the breakfast- kinda odd. Waited about 10 mins to order drinks and took about an hour to get our food. My gf ordered meat sandwich with hash browns, she got a bun with ham slice and lettuce. She rates it 2/10, not worth the price. I ordered the sizzling flapjacks French toast, the ham was good and egg was good, average French toast, rate 5/10. Waitresses say "I'm sorry" about anything alot. The ambiance was slow and overwhelmed.

Full salad bar!

We couldn't decide on food so we opted to split the two "sampling" options and were not disappointed. The stars were the cheese curds, pretzel bites, turkey and rib - wow! It would be hard to come back and not get the same thing.

Everything else I had stacks up too! There are four styles of American BBQ. I would say they fall into these categories. Carolina's, Memphis, Texas, Kansas City. If there are others in your opinion, I don't care. That's all I believe in! My favorite by far is Texas. I love a good slathered in only salt and pepper, fatty side sliced, smoked for the perfect time, juicy brisket. My boy Blake has gotten it right! The setting is perfect, almost like the old mill was built for a different purpose that no one knew yet, so long ago. The decor, infused with days of the old, new interior additions, and the pictures of all of the pitmasters that have inspired him is so well done. We planned a drive from Memphis to Kentucky and went a specific route around having lunch here. I have been trying to get a visit since he was in the old trailer down the road. My only visit to Martin before, he was closed. Our server was like Southern Sweet Tea. Just dripping with sugary sweet goodness. She was a joy in my life for this great food moment! I should probably get to the food now I guess... I was here for the sampler platter. I knew that back in 2021! I didn't even need a menu. My kid is strange and got French Toast Sticks off of the Brunch Menu. I will say they looked great and came with a bad ass line up of dunking condiments. She ate almost all of it. She did also eat all of my sausage and Mac & Cheese too. C got the smoked chicken with Alabama White Sauce, added a sausage link, and had Brussel sprouts and deviled eggs with it. She fell in love with the white sauce at Big Bob Gibsons and seeks it out now. She loved it! She hates my BBQ quests most of the time but she even said we gotta come back here!! Win!! I got the sampler and loved all of it. ALL OF IT! Every bite was better than the last. It was all that I had hoped that it would be! It was like Texas, meets Memphis, and nothing could be better in my opinion. I loved his sauces, I loved his sides, I loved everything about this place! The only possible way that it could be better was if it were free. I cannot wait to return! '25 - 67/111

We had the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and turnip geeens. The turnip greens were so good and my wife said the chicken was very good. I had the fried pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and okra. All of it was delicious! For dessert we had blueberry lemon cake and coconut cake. Pictures do not to them justice. They were so huge the lid barely closed on the to go box. It was like 1/4 of a cake. We left there stuffed with four to go boxes for two people! Highly recommend!

I've come here because my grandparents from Paris recommended this place as a good 18th birthday dinner spot, and even though they may be just a little crazy, I am so glad I listened to them. The food is outstanding. I tried their Cheesesteak with French Fries, and I didn't even take a picture of it, I was that excited, and it was nothing short of outstanding. You get a lot of it too. If I wasn't a big back I would've had the entire thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the same can be said for their dessert cakes. The staff were excellent as well, they were friendly, and certainly helped making our first visit a welcoming experience, and I earnestly hope they are satisfied with working here. If you are a foodie, a travelling foodie, or just someone who just likes going to establishments in towns you don't even know the name of, I tell you now that you NEED to go to this place. P.S. Forget all the other beverages you can have with your food, GRAB THE TEA. Sweet or unsweet, their tea tastes HEAVENLY.
