Mom was on the fence about going....and she really needed help with her hearing issue. Doctor Lynn did the hearing tests and it turns out Mom's hearing had gotten worse. Over 70% hearing loss. She said Mom should have come over 20 years ago. Well, I wish she would have...but money was the defining reason. With mom's new insurance (Anthem BCBS Mediblue Dual Advantage Plan), Medicaid and Medicare my Mom owes nothing. They are taking care of the tests and also the cost of the hearing aids. The doctor did her best to make it as easy on my Mom as possible....and I really appreciated it. If you or a loved one has hearing issues I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. You really can't go wrong. If I could rate them 11 stars....I would have.

It took a little while for a new patient, however Kim told me she could help with a follow up visit. The doctor explained everything to me so I felt very confident with his diagnosis. He scheduled a MRI for me. After that he will do a follow up. The office is right on main street and close to my home. They have off street parking, the lot was pretty full, but I found a space.

Within the first few seconds I saw him, he got me a proper diagnosis and on the right meds (and told me to stop taking the antibiotics I was initially prescribed because it was actually irritating my throat further). We had an appointment that I missed bc I woke up late, I called to see if they would still see us unfortunately the Dr. Was tightly booked but I was able to get an appointment with the APRN (his nurse-Debi) just a few hours later she was attentive kind concerned and explained everything, that my son who's 17 is going thru bc of his ear infections. A condition he has had since birth. This is our 1st time with this Dr. And wished we had him years ago. He was given a hearing test, Ears checked through a microscope and that's how this visit was everything for me felt like it was done using a microscope. So I paid two co pays to get earwax out of my ears. My insurance company , connecticut cross blue shield then informed me that the audiologist who performed the hearing test , was not in my preferred doctor list. Now , I know it's not their job to find out if i'm covered but I did present them with an insurance card before I got service. As far as I know and has always been my experience in the past, I pay my copay and that's it. Two or three weeks or perhaps a little longer , I received another bill. I just called the billing Department , and they couldn't be bothered to answer my call. The phone answers Billing Department and that's it. With a deal like that , I have zero confidence in this business.

I have always had a deviated septum and…read moreput off seeing an ENT doctor my whole life (29 years), but I fell and broke my nose in November. That's when I knew I had to do something. I used these reviews to pick my doctor. I met with him and he is very knowledgeable and caring. He suspected me of having sleep apnea and recommended me to a specialist before I go through with the surgery. Turns out he was right! After that was taken care of I went back to discuss a surgery date and it turns out he had a cancellation right before the new year. It was only 3 or 4 days out so his team rushed to get the insurance to sign off on it and fast forward 3 1/2 weeks later I feel like a new person! I can breathe again. Don't do what I did and research about septoplasty, none of that is true with Dr. Astrachan. He had me in and out in no time. Best part is my insurance paid for the whole thing! If you cannot breathe properly do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Astrachan.
