When we arrived at the appointment the Doctor ( very rudely ) told us he was no longer affiliated with Start Hearing. The appointment was made by Start Hearing. The Doctors office was aware when the appointment was made that Start Hearing was involved. If the Doctor was no longer affiliated with this program the appointment should not have been scheduled in the first place. The Doctor was extremely unprofessional and rude. When I was in my late forties, I was sent to the audiologist by my children and wife who were concerned that either I wasn't listening to them or hopefully, I needed a hearing aid! Fortunately, i needed hearing aids! Perhaps it was all those rock concerts or blasting my stereo but over the years as hearing aids have become more sophisticated, my hearing and relationships with my wife and now, grown children has improved! I also really urge my friends to not look for bargains when it comes to investing in hearing aids. There is a huge difference in quality and care that you won't get at the Big Box Warehouse Stores!.

Mom was on the fence about going....and she really needed help with her hearing issue. Doctor Lynn did the hearing tests and it turns out Mom's hearing had gotten worse. Over 70% hearing loss. She said Mom should have come over 20 years ago. Well, I wish she would have...but money was the defining reason. With mom's new insurance (Anthem BCBS Mediblue Dual Advantage Plan), Medicaid and Medicare my Mom owes nothing. They are taking care of the tests and also the cost of the hearing aids. The doctor did her best to make it as easy on my Mom as possible....and I really appreciated it. If you or a loved one has hearing issues I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. You really can't go wrong. If I could rate them 11 stars....I would have.
