Life-Changing Relief - Balloon Sinuplasty & Septoplasty Success…read more After years of chronic sinus infections, congestion, and difficulty breathing through my nose, I finally decided to undergo Balloon Sinuplasty and Septoplasty--and I'm so glad I did. From the initial consultation to recovery, the entire process was professional, supportive, and surprisingly a quick recover. My ENT clearly explained the procedures, expected outcomes, and recovery timeline. The balloon sinuplasty was minimally invasive, and the septoplasty addressed a long-standing deviated septum that had been causing major breathing issues. The procedure itself was quick and efficient, and I experienced discomfort afterward that was properly addressed. There was no packing or long hospital stay needed. Within just a few days, I could already feel a significant difference: less pressure in my face, easier breathing, and better sleep at night. Within a couple of weeks, the first 2 weeks, benefits became even more clear. I can finally breathe freely through both nostrils. Recovery was faster than I expected, and the post-op care instructions were easy to follow. The support staff and surgeon were caring and responsive throughout the process. If you're struggling with sinus issues or a deviated septum, I wholeheartedly recommend talking to a trusted ENT about these procedures. This has genuinely improved my quality of life--something I didn't realize was possible until now.

I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am in the Hearing Balance & Speech Center (a Hearing…read moreLife center) in Hamden and Waterbury, CT. In October 20322 my wife and I purchased expensive hearing aids. The contract on page 3 stated, "... After the trial period a member is allowed up to 3 visits within the first year ... at no cost. ". We were told that this allowed us 3 free visits to tune up the hearing aids. In May of 2023 my wife and I want to have the hearing aids adjusted and checked. At the visit we were told there would be a charge. When we objected the audiologist stated that the phrase "visits within the first year" applied to Dec 31, 2022, the end of the calendar year of the purchase and not 12 months from transaction date. We then called the salesperson who did not call us back. According to Collins dictionary, Law Insider and other sources, the definition of this phrase "Within one year as used herein means the year preceding the date of occurrence of this transaction. The definition of year is "a period of 365 or 366 days." Based on their reaction I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for hearing aids. There are cheaper places where the service cannot be any worse than the Hearing Balance & Speech Center. Bruce P

I felt I would keep my regular appointment with the new company anyway. I was disappointed to put it mildly. No exam of my ears, no cleaning of my hearing aids; only talk about how great the newest models are and what the available payment plans are. He was a salesman.

After seeing us only two times, that audiologist suddenly disappeared, and since then it has been nearly impossible to get help from anyone at this office. There is no continuity of care and no one who takes ownership of the situation. I have called the front desk and billing countless times. Billing has been condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Meanwhile, I have spent hours on the phone with Aetna, who has also contacted this office multiple times trying to resolve the issue. Despite all of this, we are still stuck waiting on reimbursement and clear answers. This has been an absolute nightmare, especially when dealing with something as important as a child's hearing and such a large amount of money. I would never return to this practice and strongly caution others to get everything in writing and think carefully before paying a large sum of money upfront. Don't do it because you won't get your money back and they will not help you!!! My husband is now involved and he can't get anyone on the phone either. UGH!
