I've always enjoyed walking the fabric aisles to admire the vibrant colors and unique upholstery designs. They usually have great remnants at good prices, but today, I have to say, I was very disappointed--and this will likely be my last visit. While browsing the precut remnants, I noticed an employee staring at me. I moved to another section of the table, but the same employee "coincidentally" hovered near me again. I ignored it and kept looking, determined to find a piece for a special project I had in mind. As soon as I found something I liked, I turned around to see her standing nearby, pivoted toward me, and she commented, "I see you found something." After a long day at work, I was simply looking for a quick, creative outlet to pick up some fabric for my design project. Instead, I felt scrutinized and uncomfortable. As an avid fabric purchaser who regularly shops in fabric stores from Raleigh to High Point and NYC, this was a disheartening experience. Most stores I frequent are welcoming and allow me to browse freely without unnecessary oversight. Mills Outlet, please do better. Your customers come to you for inspiration, not judgment. You never who could be shopping in your store.

Store has changed layout since my last visit years ago. The newer seasonal items are right by the front door, aisles are just as crowded as ever and very messy. The best deals were the post-holiday discounts. I went in December so the remaining Halloween and Thanksgiving items were deeply discounted. What blew me away was the customer service at this location. There seemed to be only two employees working and they were incredible. The man working the aisles was friendly and welcoming. He was consistently walking around the store to assist customers and make conversation. He seemed to know where everything was located and l walked customers to the item they were looking for (as opposed to just directing them). The women working the register was equally kind and welcoming. Overall, I was able to quickly find what I went in for and more. I recommend this location mainly because of their phenomenal customer service.

We have learned and grown so much in our love for art which began with meeting Bev in her gallery one quiet afternoon years ago. The team at Bev's are passionate about what they do and that is reflected in the quality of service they provide to their customers. We discovered our own passion for art and Bev helped us enhance our wildlife prints by reframing them, allowing them to compliment other pieces of art we acquired over time. Bev also helped us create a nostalgic display of old, black and white, family photos which is a highlight of our home whenever family or friends visit. I can't say enough about the talent that is exemplified in the work done by Bev's Fine Art Team.

After talking with Pam, she came up with an agenda and meal plan for our group that fit our budget. There were over 25 of us and with specific food restrictions, she succeeded in accommodating all requests. She hosted us at the Wilkinson Supply Co. showroom which was perfect. The meal was beautiful, delicious, and enjoyed by all. She served only top quality, fresh ingredients and was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and open to sharing tips and tricks to inquiring minds. We took advantage of the 'Chopped' hour long dessert competition and it went off without a hitch. It was such a enjoyable way to spend our holiday meal with coworkers allowing a fun, light atmosphere to take over. Not only would we recommend Chef Pam at The Thyme Savor for similar situations/group events but for any size event, big or small! She was great to work with and her knowledge and chef capabilities blew us away. Regarding details for booking an event, she was always accessible and very quick to respond to emails. When it came to payment, once we determined the budget and final headcount, it was a very smooth and easy transaction for the deposit and final payment. She was professional throughout the entire process and couldn't have been more ideal to work with. We look forward to hiring The Thyme Savor and working with Chef Pam again...hopefully, sooner than later!
