Both of my kids have received multiple services here, and the progress they've made has been incredible. My youngest attended the Kalo Preschool Program and was surrounded by so much love and support. When he graduated, I knew he was truly ready for kindergarten. He was confident, prepared, and able to attend an inclusion classroom after all the work he did in preschool. He was pretty much nonverbal when we started, and now he's speaking in full sentences. The speech and occupational therapy teams have been amazing, helping with picky eating, big emotions, and everyday life skills. Communication has always been great too. I loved getting the daily logs and knowing exactly how each of my kids' days went. If anything important came up we always received a phone call before pick up. Even with a child who can have some really tough days, she was always met with patience, care, and genuine love. The staff has been consistent, reliable, and truly goes above and beyond. Our BCBA has also been a huge help during our transition into public school, guiding us every step of the way and making sure our child's needs were met. Parent trainings were always provided to help us feel confident using behavior strategies at home, and that made such a huge difference. It's honestly a joy every time my kids see anyone from the clinic. Everyone knows their names and greets them with big smiles. You can tell the staff really loves what they do because the energy is always so positive. My kids have always been happy to go, which says everything. We're so thankful for this team and the way they've supported our whole family. They've celebrated every milestone right alongside us, and I couldn't imagine a better place for my kids to grow.

You will feel like your child is another number. After 7 months I pulled my child from this center due to safety issues. My child ended up with a black eye. A black eye?! It is a therapy center. Also they have a strange vibe and act weird if you walk in the building without appointment. We are the parents we should be able to randomly check in sometime. They have functions and exclude family. It is odd. My child's new place allows parents to randomly check on their kid if they want to which we don't but gives us piece of mind and transparency. Our new center is inclusive and all the kids at my child's new place has one rbt working with them per day versus multiple ppl practicing on your precious child. If you are with Tricare, use the suggested places on their site. This place is not on their website . I was fooled by the flashy website. I can compare standards from Mpac to my kiddos new place on Oahu. They only want your money and your child will become a number to them. Mpac standards are below average for me. We needed a speech therapist as well and that never happened. Just waited for months. They lie each time and tell multiple stories on "accidents". I would not recommend this place to anyone.

You'll have to walk slowly and look on the left about half way down til you see eyeglass brand names in the window. Look for the small recessed doorway: Straub is here. There is a hand sanitizer dispenser on the right of the entrance and also just past the manual "lift" on the left before check in. There are markers on the floor to socially distance yourself and the waiting chairs are arranged apart from each other. No temperature scans at present and you must wait in line to be called to register for your appointment. There are several employees to help you check in. There is a lab with one toilet next to it for use or to collect urine specimens. Today there were many people getting lab work done. You can hear them call out the next number to be serviced loud and clear. If that restroom is occupied there are more in the left corridor past check in. You need to be staff or allowed upstairs to use the restrooms on the 2 Nd floor. The classes I've been attending recently are conducted on the 2 Nd floor. There's a total of 5 classes with Registered Dietician to educate you. ***your doctor may send you here or to the town location if you have an elevated glucose reading on your blood work to learn how to cope with your diagnoses. If you cannot manage stairs your records will note you need to use the lift operated by staff. My doctors are across the street at Pali Momi or at Straub Kapolei. I've not visited any doctor at this location. Still learning the set up. Take care, keep safe and stay healthy.
