12/3/24 Response to Carolinda: Thank you, Carolinda, but we…read moreboth know this process was only expedited after nearly a year because I finally reached my breaking point. While I understand the need to frame your response in a certain way, I ask that you refrain from blaming insurance or others for the lack of professionalism and accountability shown throughout this process. Our issues could have been resolved much earlier, as was guaranteed by your office, and you would have one less negative review to address. Good luck to you and Speech Solutions moving forward. Original Review: I regret to say that I cannot recommend Speech Solutions to anyone seeking speech therapy services. My experience with this company has been nothing short of frustrating, and I have a long trail of emails--spanning nearly an entire year--documenting unresolved issues with various members of their staff. If you're interested, I'm happy to share the details privately. The ongoing lack of communication, the constant runaround, and the overall incompetence I've encountered highlight significant ethical and operational shortcomings at Speech Solutions. While I don't have the time or space here to list everything, suffice it to say that the challenges I've faced with this business have been extensive and exhausting. The only positive aspect of our experience was the brief interaction with a few speech therapists who worked with my son. Unfortunately, each of these therapists (and others) abruptly resigned, which speaks to the high turnover rate at this company. The inconsistency in care due to this turnover is concerning on its own, but the real issues stem from the lack of professionalism across the rest of the organization. From Tara in administration to Carolinda/"Trini" (CEO), Sharon (CFO), and the entire billing department, the service we've received has been disappointing, to say the least. We've been given the runaround for far too long. While I would love to walk away from this situation, we're still waiting on an updated invoice from our son's initial evaluation in 2023, which was billed incorrectly, and a refund that they are inexplicably withholding. At this point, I feel trapped and can only hope that future clients do not have to endure the same level of frustration that we have. To conclude, I'd like to highlight the ethical concerns around staff posting feedback about their own workplace. This creates a conflict of interest and opens the door to potential manipulation of reviews. I've noticed at least two five-star reviews that seem to come from familiar faces, Tara being one of them who has posted to both location Yelp pages and Google--just something to keep in mind. My best advice for anyone seeking speech therapy for themselves or a loved one: look for other options.

Ryanne has helped two of our children with speech therapy in very different phases of development…read moreand the world. She worked with our son in person during peak pandemic years (masked up social distance life) and helped him with huge breakthroughs in his 5 year old consonant delays. We knew exactly who to contact when we realized our 6 year old daughter's "r's" weren't quite coming in yet (and Ryanne years before had shared with us that r's should naturally develop around age 5) Now that we live an ocean away from her, our consult and care for our daughter the last 2 months has all been via ZOOM, but honestly the care and progress with our daughter has been even more streamlined and accelerated through Ryanne's professional guidance and plan. Visits have been once a week for 30 min via zoom and our daughter LOVES them. It's been beautiful to see how Ryanne's ability to connect and bond with our kid via a screen is just as genuine as when she was in person working with our son. They chat for a few minutes, do some focused practice with various "R" sounds in different positions in words, then our daughter's favorite part: some reward games at the end virtually, but still practicing "r's" along the way. Ryanne created a folder with practice sheets that I printed out and we colored and worked on at home. Within a month we could hear our daughter easily finding the "r" sound at the beginning of words, and now two months in we are hearing her find r's within her entire vocabulary. We are so grateful to Ryanne, would recommend her to anyone, and will absolutely reach out to her if our third kid shows any potential need for speech therapy along the way.

As a child development specialist, it is obvious how much of an expertise Ryanne is in this field…read moreas a speech language pathologist. Ryanne can quickly assess a child and spot unusual speech patterns where there are sounds that need support and/or where a child needs help with pragmatic conversation. My relationship with Ryanne began as a partnership in my preschool. Ryanne provided us with speech screenings and then provided speech services to the families who needed it. She came on-site (a rare find to have!) so parents did not have to drive to a clinic during work hours every week (or to a child's home). A huge advantage of this is that Ryanne was able to work with the teachers on how to improve a child's speech while they were in our program. You can imagine how much quicker the growth is in speech development with a united team working with your child. Ryanne also understands that building a true bond with a child is essential to teaching, which I got to see firsthand when my own 6-year-old child needed support. Within minutes of talking him, Ryanne quickly realized his love of Pokemon. And she was able to explain to him in Pokemon terms what was going on with his speech in a way that he completely understood. In much better phrasing, she basically explained to him that his "s" sounds were in the current stage but we needed to get his "s" sounds to the next evolution so that we can take over current "s" sound to improve it. It completely turned things around for us at home when we were working on the sounds with him. And within the first couple sessions, we quickly saw our son self correcting his speech and Ryanne was so great about guiding me as a parent through it all. I also think there is a fear among parents that speech therapy will be a longterm situation and a misconception that speech therapists want to keep your children in speech. I did not experience this at all with Ryanne. When a child was ready to "graduate," she celebrated this growth. She is professional, amazing with children, and so skilled at what she does. I highly recommend her services!

You will not regret it…read more Lindsey at the front desk greets you with the most welcoming smiles (and is the best when it comes to rescheduling and trying to fit you in last minute - shout out to all the times you were able to find me appointments to fit my schedule!) and Codie Conching is the friendliest, highly trained physical therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. When my doctor originally referred me to PT, it was not to this office (the original referral took months to call me to schedule an intake appt). After no response to me or my doctor, she referred me to Atta Rehab. Within the day my intake appt was scheduled with Codie. I came into the office one year post foot surgery, with limited mobility in my toes and an abnormal-to-me walking gait. As someone who loves being active, this past year was rough on my body and soul trying to navigate new pains and limitations I've never experienced before. I was starting to fear I would never be back to my pre-surgery activity levels, but after 4 months of constant therapy under the attentive care of Codie, I finally have hope again that I can get back to my active pre-surgery self. I am forever grateful Codie took on my unique PT case. It was not a typical surgery, but she handled it with ease. She walked me through each exercise in the office, and we developed home PT plans for me to work on between sessions. Each session she held me accountable for my "homework" and would edit to accommodate improvements and setbacks, steering me towards major gait and mobility improvements. After 4 months of consistent PT, I am blown away by the progress Codie and I were able to make in my recovery. I finally feel freed from my pain and limitations I walked into the office with that first day. Even though it was a slow progression, Codie was my biggest cheerleader to help push me to where I am today. I am constantly recommending her to family and friends who complain to me about various aches and pains, because I know first hand how dedicated and talented she is! And the offices at the practice are very clean & comfortable, adding to an all around 10/10 experience. You can't go wrong at Atta Rehab!

Both of my kids have received multiple services here, and the progress they've made has been incredible. My youngest attended the Kalo Preschool Program and was surrounded by so much love and support. When he graduated, I knew he was truly ready for kindergarten. He was confident, prepared, and able to attend an inclusion classroom after all the work he did in preschool. He was pretty much nonverbal when we started, and now he's speaking in full sentences. The speech and occupational therapy teams have been amazing, helping with picky eating, big emotions, and everyday life skills. Communication has always been great too. I loved getting the daily logs and knowing exactly how each of my kids' days went. If anything important came up we always received a phone call before pick up. Even with a child who can have some really tough days, she was always met with patience, care, and genuine love. The staff has been consistent, reliable, and truly goes above and beyond. Our BCBA has also been a huge help during our transition into public school, guiding us every step of the way and making sure our child's needs were met. Parent trainings were always provided to help us feel confident using behavior strategies at home, and that made such a huge difference. It's honestly a joy every time my kids see anyone from the clinic. Everyone knows their names and greets them with big smiles. You can tell the staff really loves what they do because the energy is always so positive. My kids have always been happy to go, which says everything. We're so thankful for this team and the way they've supported our whole family. They've celebrated every milestone right alongside us, and I couldn't imagine a better place for my kids to grow.

You will feel like your child is another number. After 7 months I pulled my child from this center due to safety issues. My child ended up with a black eye. A black eye?! It is a therapy center. Also they have a strange vibe and act weird if you walk in the building without appointment. We are the parents we should be able to randomly check in sometime. They have functions and exclude family. It is odd. My child's new place allows parents to randomly check on their kid if they want to which we don't but gives us piece of mind and transparency. Our new center is inclusive and all the kids at my child's new place has one rbt working with them per day versus multiple ppl practicing on your precious child. If you are with Tricare, use the suggested places on their site. This place is not on their website . I was fooled by the flashy website. I can compare standards from Mpac to my kiddos new place on Oahu. They only want your money and your child will become a number to them. Mpac standards are below average for me. We needed a speech therapist as well and that never happened. Just waited for months. They lie each time and tell multiple stories on "accidents". I would not recommend this place to anyone.
